It was a quiet,calm day. Geoffrey had now gone into Celtic sea,realising that Paris was farther inland. Continues sailing towards to London. He takes a couple hours to eat, sleep and enjoy the zombie free day. He eventually grows incredibly bored and sails toward Britain. Thinking out loud "I think I'll go Britain, land of the-" A sudden explosion cuts him short. "What the-" another explosion. Geoffrey stops talking, thinking if he does another explosion will happen. He runs to the engines, and they're blown. Geoffrey opens his mouth,but remembering what happens when he did. He now ponders on what to do.

=Just as the man gets back into the base and the door is locked, out to the side I hear a couple men yell=

'EXPLOSION IN SECTION FOUR!'

=We all shift our attention to the sea=

'Get a gunboat out there!'

=Yeah I know; I should have been talking. Conversing, striking up a chat, breaking bread, yada yada yada. But just to be clear, for nearly all my life, i was in fact a silent person, only talking when either a) I actually thought of something to say, or b) my mind would stop spinning long enough for me to take shit in=

=I stopped at the road on the other side of a field. There were a heap of zombies on the road, probably enough to stop the Golf cart the humans were driving. I thought about my next course of action. I dropped my small pack and rummaged through it before pulling out a Frag grenade, I'd taken this off an unfortunate Royal Marine. I had ammo, several sets of dog tags and a grenade.=

Better keep this handy just in case-

=One of the zombies made a strange guttural sound and when I looked, most of them were shuffling my way.
I pulled the pin on the grenade. It left my hand after 3 seconds and blew the zombies to hell, along with part of a wall and some of the road.=

Well, it's probably obvious that there's a human here now... May 'swell wait for those guys here...

=I sat on top of my pack, and sipped some water from my canteen, My carbine close.=

=i stayed silent, not trusting Takeya. He didn't seem like that kind of guy who played it safe. Maybe he was good enough to survive, but I doubt anyone near him would, if he kept up his pace=

Nic: "Alex and Garth don't know where we're going either."

I leaned forward to look at Takeya.

"And no, I don't trust you."

I leaned back in my seat.

Nic: "Could be a few days, could be a few hours. Depends on the traffic." Among other things.

Hey Takeya, here's an expression I think you should consider: "It's all about the journey, not the destination." It helped me out a lot whenever I traveled, before all this shit happened.

I kept driving the cart, not looking at the scenery.

Nope. Would, but I have a sneaking suspicion the guides were all eaten.

I stayed silent, still waiting to trust Takeya, or listen to him.

Yeah, but we still don't know if this whole virus is no longer airborne or not. And even then, what about the recently dead over there?

Yeah well, still. Even if anyone else was still there, why bother going all the way, through some of the most dangerous terrain in the world, which we're not even equipped for, just to stand on a spot where you will most likely die of lack of oxygen?

"They'll run out of oxygen tanks and die." I said, nonchalantly.

"Not what you made it sound like."

"And yet, you aren't there. Why is that?"

"Zombies aren't everywhere. You haven't been to the western states, in america. No zombies there."

=Xazhi didnt remember anything after the Napalm hit, other than the running, screaming, and falling into the river. He slowly regained his vision, and it was dark. He was on his back, staring up at the moon with his eyes half open. He could feel a fire going somewhere close on his right side. He continued staring=

Xa- [Allisia....]

=He heard some voices, though they were faint, and their words were muffled=

?- [Is he awake?]

?- [He's coming to. Get him some water.]

=He felt a sprinkle of water on his face. He closed his eyes tight, and re-opened them, looking up at two people garbed in black and red=

Xa- [What....? Who are you?]

?- [Dont worry. You are safe with us, Xazhi Narok ei.]

Xa- [You know me? Who are you?]

=Xazhi sits up a little, looking around at the small band of four or five people, all garbed in black and red. He looked at the person talking to him=

?- [You are safe now, Reisome.]

Xa- [M-.. Misuet?]

Re- [Se, Xazhi. It's me.]

Xa- [How did you know?]

Re- [I had a feeling you would return here, someday. When i saw the napalm hit, i knew they must have seen people. People meant you. I arrived just as you fell into the river.]

Xa- [How long have i been out?]

Re- [Three days.]

Xa- Kuhvyhm.

Re- [I know. The good news is, we arent alone. This is the group ive been traveling with, Kezhiil and Varrha.]

=The two waved to Xazhi before turning back to the fire. He waved back=

Xa- [Where are we now?]

Re- [Almost to Boston. They agreed to take us as far as there, before they head back up the Canada.]

Xa- [How'd you know about Boston?]

Re- [I still read the forum every now and again. I saw your chat log.]

Xa- [Its good to see you again, Rhe'naraiil.]

Re- [You too, Reisome. You should rest. We have a long walk ahead of us tomarrow.]

=Xazhi covers himself with his coat, facing the fire. He falls asleep shortly after=

=I heard a snarl coming from the floor, I looked down and about 5 feet away was a zombie with no legs, probably a survivor of my grenade. I laughed and stood up, drawing my pistol.
I realized too late that the people I was following were probably within eyes distance by now, after I executed the thing, I holstered my weapon and looked for the golf cart and moped. I find them, they look quite close=

well, I was going to introduce myself eventually...

=I place my canteen in my pack and step out onto the road.=

I looked at Nic.

"What do you mean? Zombies were the whole reason I left AZ."

"You weren't there when the bombs hit then." I said quietly.

I got alarmed.

"What bombs?"

"incendiaries, mostly." I all but whispered.

"why didn't you share this earlier?!"

=My head got focused enough for me to hear what Nick had just said=
Bombs? What bombs, Nick? What happened to my family?

=My heart began pounding in my chest. I knew it was a fool's hope, that my mom might have survived. But this news, about bombs........=
Nick, please, tell me right now, what the hell happened to my home.

Geoffrey had fixed his engines, and now was sailing (barely) to Ireland. Going at a whoppin' knot, he wasn't going anywhere very fast. He thinks out loud ″What am I gonna do?″ He was only planning for a week, not about two weeks.......

=A bolt is shot. Ripping the air. The final resting place is the head of an unfortunate walker. I had all forgotten my major quest. Living where I do now was decent at best. A camp in L.A. My recordings no doubt had been picked up along the way. Atleast I hope they were. The camp had much to offer. Except for food on most days=

=I am sitting on a balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean I was the last one left again. Another siege of the demons during a time of rest left us unknowing and unprepared. I take aim once more on another and let loose a second bolt. It misses the desired point but I care not=

I lean forward again to look at Takeya.

"Do you warn people before you shoot them? Before you stab them? You don't warn anyone before you try to kill them. It just makes your job that much harder."

=I take out an old journal. My scrawlish writing on it. I turn to the front page a title on the top of the page=
=I had been working on a story known as Outbreak before what had happened. It was nothing really. With no source of inspiration I had no reason to continue with it. When it began I found myself writing down everything I saw. This new Outbreak had meaning behind it. It had a source and it had my attention.=

=I sigh as I take out a pencil that I had found and flip to the last page. I begin writing once more=

"Another day of silence. The sieges of the past few days had been costly for my 'friends'. I do not know what else to do except to live. Even now I do not believe how I will though. I have no way to contact anyone. Just like it had been like for so many years. I used to keep track of the days, no longer. I used to know the month, no longer. I am a lost soul among the dead. Trying to find purpose. Just like all others whom are still alive in this hell."

I lean back in my seat and go back to silence.
