=gets a comm update saying he's waking up so he heads to medbay=

=I realized that we were not in the hangar anymore=

Whew, that was close.

=I had the ships carrying the station's civilians move back over the station, and began sending the people back to the station, courtesy of the gravity lifts. It would take a few minutes, but soon, they would all be back home=

=Delta calls all the 808th capital ships back to the hanger of the Obsidian Wolf. Alpha, Beta, Delta, Giga, and Sigma head to the main Military base aboard the Wolf while the scraps of UNSC fleet are cleaned up from outide. They sit down in a meeting room. On the way there, Delta had nearly been brought to tears by the sight of all his fallen kin. Delta fought them back. He had not cried since he was first born all those years ago. They sit down in a dimly lit room, and they begin discussing what will become of the UNSC prisoners=

=i see Zeru. i grunt in acknowledgement=

(Silver Light)
=I ran over the previous scans I had made, when the fleet had entered the system. I saw that on the ship, known as the "Azure Comet," there were a number of human prisoners=
Inheritor, I suggest you see this. That ship, the Azure Comet, has a large number of human prisoners.

(Jason)
=I looked at the scans through my helmet. There were thousands, maybe millions. If I was right, they came from the planets that had been destroyed. They were most likely UNSC, and I had a bad feeling. They may have been civies, but the leader of this place might not see it that way. After this attack, they might kill them all=

Silver, come with me.

(Silver Light)
Where are we going?

(Jason)
I intend to see if I can negotiate.

=Xazhi and Lori had by now made their way over to the Obsidian Wolf, and were on their way to the Military Base to find Delta=

(Jason)
=I made sure my armor was on, and secure. I had a pistol and knife, though I hoped I wouldn't have to use it. Silver floated behind me, and we left the ship. I commed Miri=

Miri, listen: I'm going to have a small, hopefully non-violent chat with the leader of this station. Look, just have Argo take the ship out of here, okay? Jason out.

=I accessed the map Silver gave me. He made some scans with the sentinels, and I had an idea of where to go=

=As he went by, the XNNO civillians reckognized Jason's armor as distinctly Forerunner. They thought back to how the Forerunner fleet had disabled the 808th's weapons, leading to all the death around them. They stare at him as if he were some sort of horrible monster=

=I saw the fear in the eyes of the civilians. Sure, I could have said I wasn't going to hurt them, that I truly meant them all no harm. But it would do no good. I recognized that fear, and it wasn't something words could solve=

I hate being viewed as the monster.

=I continued on my way, towards what was called the Military Center, Silver drifting behind me, casting glances at people=

=One of the civillians mutters something as he passes that was just barely audible. It was clear that the coment was extremely negative. People around begin whispering to eachother, wondering if the monster would attack them, or what he, or 'it' as they refered to him, came to do. Xazhi and Lori find the military base, and are allowed entrance by Delta's orders=

=I heard whispers all around me. None of them good, but hey, could I really blame them? It took me a while, but I got to the entrance of the Military Center. Silver hovered by my shoulder=

(Dormii)
=i grunt again, not wanting to move my mouth=

=The six SS that stood at the entrance asked for Jason's identification=

I am Jason Shepard, Inheritor. I am in command of the Forerunner ships, and I seek an audience with the leader of this station, to negotiate the release of the prisoners from the human worlds.

=One of them whispers something to the other=

SS3- You will leave your weapons with us.


(SS3! Remember that guy!? From before Silaev [SS1] had a name!)

My whole body, is a weapon. So unless you want your leader to walk all the way out here, then let me in.

=I thought for a moment, then un-holstered my pistol, and my knife. I offered them to the guards=
