What do you mean, "more will die?" And someone who'll follow orders? Listen pal, if ONI sent you here for that, then they picked the wrong place. Nearly everyone hear has no loyalty to the UNSC, or ONI for that matter.

Huh, I can see why they picked you. A man with no real respect for his enemies. A man who, even when staring into the barrel of a gun, show's no fear, or respect. But, what was your mission? I already warned ONI that if they came here again, or sent any more forces here, then I would destroy them.

Wow, you really picked a bad time to show up for a recovery mission. The Covenant have found this place, and they are coming here. This, is a Forerunner world, and you can bet your ass that they will bring a fleet equal to the one that took out Reach.

Then it looks like you'll need a ship and an EVA suit. All the previous UNSC ships were destroyed, and their wrecks are drifting out in orbit.

Well it seems that ONI sent an ODST here to Haven, to recover a blackbox. Now, I'm willing to bet, that the blackbox in question, is in one of the wrecks currently in orbit. Now, if gaining that blackbox means he can leave, then by all means, he is welcome to look for it. But I have a planet to defend, and no offense to you man, but you're not really at the top of my to-do list.
