Paarthurnax smiled and turned to F'alas.

"Neither"

Paarthurnax smiled and continued walking.

"Then what is our mission, brother?" F'alas asked, then nervously added, "Your not going to tell Fivak about the code of honor thing, are you?"

"Sparrow. You are going to take your team, and support Delta Squad. That's an order."

"The mission is the same, however we are dropping in via Orbitol Insetion Pods. It is too risky to enter from a Phantom. Team Bravo's Pods will enter the atmosphere and be automatically controlled into their landing destination, same for us"

Paarthurnax led both Teams, Alpha and Bravo, underneath the Hangar Bay. They were directly nine-hundred thousand feet above the depot. This was great, the GPS system aboard the O.I.P's would direct both teams to their destinations.
There were hundreds of Pods down there, they would use the first twelve. He approached his Pod and placed his weapons in the holding bays. He adjusted himself inside and left the hatch open.

"You have five minutes to prepare for the drop. We go on my mark"

Paarthurnax confidently looked around as all of his warriors were preparing themselves for the drop. Paarthurnax had done this numerous times.

F'alas climbed into a pod and placed his Plasma Rifle into the holster, and strapped himself in. "Sir, will this hurt?" F'alas asked Paarthurnax.

Paarthurnax looked to F'alas.

"It depends, you get shot down, you're dead. When you land, you lose your shields, my advice. Keep your head down when you land"

Paarthurnax smiled and sat back.

"Three minutes to drop"

Paarthurnax now stapped his belt on, he relaxed his head back on the seat.

F'alas swallowed the fear and sat into his seat. He waited for Paarthurnax to say 'mark'. "If they don't have AA, this could be okay!". The faces of Paarthurnax and the Zealot appeared on pod's side screens. They would use this to track each other's movement during the drop.

Paarthurnax sat there clenching his fists. It was tense. He looked at the time.

"One minute to drop! Hatch down!"

Paarthurnax placed his hatch down, the Pod fell but was caught. It was now suspeneded by one dangling wire.

"Right, do not worry. Remember, on my mark!"

F'alas anxiously awaited for the 'mark'. The Zealot seemed completely calm. He must've belonged to the drop pod Ultra's. He felt the pod dangling by the single wire. This seemed more frightening than the drop.

"Single dispersion pods, fantastic idea"

"Thirty seconds"

Paarthurnax now anxiously waited for the Pod to drop. Waiting...waiting...waiting. He saw the time, it was less than ten seconds. It got closer and closer.

5...4...3...2...1

"Mark!"

Paarthurnax released his O.I.P and the cable released the Pod. His Pod soon accelerated to three hundred miles per hour and the force pinned him into his seat.

F'alas heard 'mark' and felt the cable fall off. He was pushed too his seat as the pod flew towards the planet at 345 miles per hour.

Paarthurnax started pressing buttons in his Pod, doing system checks and all. Everything was fine until he heard something absolutely unprecedented. He waited a few seconds, then he was sure. He heard the sound of bullets skim past his Pod.

"Yursek mahlo! Warriors, we are under attack!"

Paarthurnax pressed a few more buttons, before his entire cockpit went dark.

F'alas heard the bullets pinging across his pod. He then saw Paarthurnax's get hit in the electrical storage compartment. His first screen containing Paarthurnax went black. The Zealot's stayed until they entered the atmosphere. F'alas then realized, they were all off course. Team Alpha would land with Team Bravo, and vice-versa.

Paarthurnax looked at the controls as the lights went out and came back.

"Blast, my targeting system"

His Pod was now spinning all over the place. Flames and fumes coming from the Pod. A second round of bullets came, hitting Paarthurnax' pod some more. Knocking it off of its original course.

"No...I cannot...control it"

His Pod still spiralling out of control.

I sigh and step out of the pod. Issue-ing a squad wide comm i shake my head a little bit.

Squad. Suit up and meet in the hanger. Full armour. We're going in to rescue Delta.

F'alas saw Paarthurnax's pod spiraling and flames spewing out. 3 pods had already been lost, luckily only Operatives. They began nearing the ground, maybe Paarthurnax's pod would be able to make a safe crash landing.

=My arm was giving me a bit of trouble now. Having to one-arm the rifle. It wasnt that bad, but it was annoying as hell=

=They had gone on the offensive and began to come at me. They popped around the corners and I fired. Soon though, I am forced to retreat to the inside of the building=

=It is a two story house, mostly intact. I climb the stairs and make a mark at the foot of them=

" Yes ma'am " I walk into the armoury as it was fairly close to me. I put on my combat armour silently. It takes about five mintues to get it on.
I then grab two magnums, a couple grenades, a assault rifle and my combat knife.

Paarthurnax now was holding on for dear life, his Pod was balancing out but still shaky. The after burners were now meant to engage now, that wasn't happening.

"No, no, no. I'm going in too hot"

He saw everyone elses Pod engage after burners, although a few were damaged. He yanked on the controls, trying to make the after burners work.

"ARGH, IT BURNS!!!"

He could not stay in the Pod any longer. He got his Re-entry Pack and placed it on his body, with what room he had. He grabbed his sword and sliced the door open, the suction pulled Paarthurnax through it.

"WHOA!!!"

He engaged his Re-Entry Pack's thrusters and it slowed him down, best it could. He was still going quite fast, but it slowed him down. Right into his destination which was in the forest, he fell through the canopies and the branches and landed on the floor with a huge bang. He lay on the floor, not moving.

=I see something enter in. A flashbang=
=I turn my head and wait for the bang=
=It happens, but to little effect=

=I toss down a grenade. My last and hope it kills one of them. I needed ammo and I needed it now=

=I heard an explosion and a few screams. I went downstairs for my reward and quickly went back up=

Alright. That should keep me good for awhile

F'alas engaged his afterburner, all went as planned. Except for Paarthurnax's and the Zealot's. From what he saw, Paarthurnax was going to land in some trees near a lake. The Zealot's pod looked as if it was going into the water.

Paarthurnax lifted his head up slightly.

"Well, all went as planned. Except for the losses. Rally on my position Alpha"

Paarthurnax walked over to his trashed Pod. He grabbed all of his weapons and ditched his Re-Entry Pack. That was the way to do things.

"Yeah, I just invented landing with style"

He rubbed his neck. His visor went a little wavey, but everything was fine.

F'alas pod fell with a thud, he popped the hatch and found Paarthurnax's coordinates. He grabbed his Plasma Rifle and began walking. The AA turrets had stopped firing, but he knew they had lost the element of surprise.

Paarthurnax began to look around.

"Zuka, I noticed you and the remainders of your team, landed a little way off from Bravo's Destination. Regroup and head there"

"Roger that Officer, good luck"

"Thank you, you too"

Paarthurnax looked all around at the huge trees.

"I will be formulating a report on who we have left, it will be uploaded to your HUDs soon"

He equipped his Beam Rifle and walked over to F'alas and the other members of Alpha.

"Good luck, may the gods watch over your battles!"

"Thank you, brother!" F'alas yelled. He silenced as he heard footsteps, unfriendly footsteps. "Get ready!" he yelled, pointing his Plasma Rifle towards the human footsteps.

"Affirmative!"

Paarthurnax rolled right, out into the open. He shot two bullets out of his Rifle. He hit two Insurgents who dropped instantly. There were roughly around four warriors in Alpha at the moment, they were all at Alpha's destination.

"Set up a perimeter!"

"Yes, sir!" F'alas said. "Two warriors per tree! Go! Go! Go!" F'alas shouted as the warriors moved from tree to tree.

Paarthurnax again fired two rounds, and they both hit the targets.

"Damn, I'm good!"

He evaded sidewards and shot another, eliminating the final enemy. He stood up straight and looked around.

"Good, very good. Right, now follow the waypoint. We need to get inside the depot. From what I can see, Bravo are on course too. This is excellent"

Paarthurnax started walking in the correct direction, continuing to keep his warrior stance.

F'alas watched in awe as Paarthurnax hit both targets. He followed ASAP, trying to remove the amazed look on his face.

Paarthurnax shook his head at the deceased list.

"I have uploaded the list to your HUD. Looks like my decision was not the best"

Paarthurnax placed his Beam Rifle placed his Rifle on his back and continued walking through the boggy forest.

F'alas struggled through the boggy forest. His armor weighed down by the water. "Must continue on!" he thought. This was his first combat experience, with better than he thought results. He asked Paarthurnax, "Where is this, 'depot'?"

"A few thousand meters ahead"

Paarthurnax shook his head.

"Its all my fault" he muttered in a quiet voice

He continued to walk forward, feeling upset due to the losses.

F'alas noted the look of grief on Paarthurnax's face. He simply said, "You are my first commander. If not for you leadership, i would've been killed by those humans." He continued walking towards the depot.

"You speak truthfully brother, however my poor judgement led four brave warriors to death"

Paarthurnax grabbed his sword and stopped.

"But you are right, I am your first Commander, and these bastards killed our brothers. Lets slaughter them!"

Paarthurnax entered his 'Werewolf Run' and pelted towards the electric fence. It shocked him severly, and burnt him. Smoke piled off of his body. He got back up and did the same towards it, smashing it through.

"All forces engage!"

From above the CCS belted the Depot with Plasma rounds.

"Bravo engaging!"

"Alpha devastating!"

Paarthurnax turned to his warriors.

"TO ARMS!!!"

F'alas heard and saw an Insurgent screaming something, he fired his Plasma Rifle, until it hit. "My first kill!" he yelled. The fight raged as the CCS bombarded the Depot.

Spinning through the air, melting two with his sword, Paarthurnax was. Evading backwards and destroying two others. He equipped his blade in his empty hand.

"I'll take you all on!"

He charged into Oblivion and attacked the guards in mass. He swirled and wrecked their knees. Before reforming with his team. They had already destroyed thirty, at least. He charged towards another few targets. He swung for the first and swirled piercing the second. Bliss.

"Excellent progress!"

He ran forwards and engaged some others. The CCS was continuing to bombard the Depot. Much was already in flames, although the entire place needed grounding. He swung for another and he went a little off balance. He cut the enemy down, before staggering backwards.

"Good job!"

The Operative stared at Paarthurnax and continued to do so. Paarthurnax stared back, before noticing. He staggered backwards and nearly fell over. He then staggered forwards and fell to his knees. His sword spread across the floor.

I'm stepping out of the pod when Whisper comes in.

Alright. So we're just waiting for Tri and the new kid.

I grab my equipment and take it to a nearby pelican before throwing it inside.

Boss, we got enemy contacts, 100 meters out and closing.

=I also grab a flashlight, flashbang grenades and frags. I head to the hanger, as I walk in I see Sparrow and Whipser and give a nod=

Trident arrived at the Hanger, after taking his time... He'd brought whatever Equipmen he needed, which was mostly just the usualy equipment...

I jump up.

Finally. Now load on up.

I walk to the front of the pelican, bringing my stuff with me while they board. After a short check, we take off and head on down towards Delta's position.

Delta. This is Alpha. You read?
