=I stand shocked, and then scream in rage and greif=

=He passes a few of his men and nod to them. After about fifteen minutes he arrives at the bridge=

Sun! Sit-rep.

=He gets no response=

Sun! Respond!

=Still no response. He nods and goes up to a console=

Atlas. You're getting a promotion.

=He enters the chip in and Atlas begins to spew out the previous data that had been saved. Entering in his own set of data=

Atlas: How wonderful this is.

=He nods=

Dante: Have some fun. Soon we will be leaving.

=He tells Atlas the co-ords of Olympus so that he may retrieve his other soldiers and warriors=

=i finish getting my armor on, and look around for my weapons. I remember they are still in my fighter craft, the Arm of the Night. I leave my room and start heading towards the hanger bay to pick up my weapons before I exit onto the station=

No, I don't think it was them. While Xazhi may not have been one of their agents, he still would have counted as their proxy. Besides.......we've had to make further additions to the agreement between us, and those additions are far to beneficial to both parties for them to risk a war between our two peoples. Besides, for this plan to have worked, they would have needed a target, of more political importance.
=I was really, really, hoping that Miranda was not ever going to hear that last bit. Yes, she was important, to me. But to the rest of Haven, her assassination would not be reason enough to go to war. The death of one of the Councilors though, would be more than enough reason=

Right now, the mystery behind who sent Xazhi after Miranda, will have to be put on hold. For now, our greatest concern, is the political pressure this is going to put on both of us. Delta, I can't truly say if you're a political, or a military leader. But I know, that if nothing else, you are a patriot to your people. And if or when they hear, that one of their own was killed on Haven, a world brimming with people that have every reason to seek retribution against your kind, what do you think will be their response? What do you think, they will ask for? To say nothing of what my people will seek, when they hear that an assassin, one of yours, landed on their home, and tried to kill one of their people. Followed swiftly of course, by the infiltration team you sent, that did kill one of our own, and injured many of my soldiers. No matter which side does find out, the end result, of what they will demand, has a very good chance of being the same: Retribution.

=Delta sighed and thought for a moment=

Del- Yes, they will seek revenge. If we can stop that, i am not sure. But what i do know is that we must now take great caution in how we approach this matter. One false step could lead to disaster for both of us. As for the infiltrators, their mission was to find and recover the Eirav Wing. Although my prior understanding of the situation was that the boy had been sent to Haven on peaceful terms, they had orders not to fire on anyone unless fired upon first. I do not know where Xazhi currently is, but when he returns to the Azure Comet i hope it will be with new information on what could have lead to this.

Very well. So, it is agreed that we are, for the moment, still in an agreement of cease fire, and negotiations? I'm not asking for a peace treaty again. Simply, a healthy cooperation, on learning more about this.

Del- I see no other way to resolve this very troubling issue but to work together. If i uncover any new information, i will contact you.



=Meanwhile, Xazhi had returned to the transport vessel he had taken from the Azure Comet to Shadow of the Moon, and was on his way back to Xenos=

=I was about to end the conversation, but was struck by something=

One last thing: I don't know, what your people do, with their dead. But I wasn't going to cast Xazhi's body into a fire pit, it's not how I'd treat an enemy. I buried him, on one of the mountains here on Haven. The grave is, very beautiful, but if you or his father would like the body, to take care of yourselves, then I will gladly return him to you.

=An alarm went off on one of the Bridgemens' consoles, and he turned to Delta=

BM1- Sir! There's been an explosion in the Hanger!

Del- Damnit!

=The comm suddenly cut as Delta turned away and exited the bridge swiftly=

=a few minutes later, I arrived at the hanger. I climbed up into my fighter and grabbed my weapons, holstering them in their appropriate areas. I kept the hook-cable-blade out and ready, and extended my arm blade, as I headed towards the airlock with the station. I think I scared some people, but I didn't care. Every bit of me was focused on killing=

=Once the link was cut, I turned back to the other screen, and faced the Councilors=

Well, at least we've managed to avert war with him. But what do you think it was, that cut him off?

(Jason)
No idea Councilman. Right now, our primary concern is damage control, from our end. I want all military ships to remain in orbit around Haven, form a blockade. Silver, I want you to look into any advanced sensor technologies that could be in the archives. I want a way to detect any stealth ship that enters this system, XNNO or otherwise. As for you, Councilors....my only recommendation, is that we control the flow of information on this matter, make sure no one, knows about this.

Agreed. And what of finding out, who sent the assassin? What are we to do about that?

(Jason)
Leave that to me, and my crew. We'll dig for whatever information we can, starting with the files we got from the Eirav Wing. Xazhi was bound to have a list of contacts, maybe even employers. I still have a few sources, out in UNSC space, that might be able to get us something on this. For now, our primary concerns rest on Haven. Over and out.

=I ended the meeting, turning off the screen. I walked over to the platform overlooking Alpha Base, and leaned against the safety railing. The sun was setting here on the surface, the horizon aglow with orange light, burning like some incomprehensible forest fire. On the ground, troops moved here and there all over the base, some simply on patrol, others moving to new positions. In the sky, squadrons of manned fighters flew over the area, while even more Sentinels patrolled further out=
My home, has certainly come a ways.......

=i was preparing a blackout virus along my way towards the airlock. Once it was done, I was at the airlock, and I stopped outside the door. I tapped into the Whisper of Life's comm systems, and then used those to tap into the refit station's systems and uploaded the virus. It went to work quickly, isolating and shutting down and scrambling the comm systems of of the station, as well as causing static to burst from the internal speakers, severely reducing personal comm unit effectiveness. I tapped open the airlock to find a startled Marine with his back to the door, probably just there to make sure no one came on without permission. He didn't even here the door open over the static, he was startled by the static. I quickly moved forward and impaled him through the back on my arm blade. I pulled it out, and swung the hook on a backhand arc that impaled his helmet and skull and caused more blood to spurt out. I slowly and carefully walked down the hall, blood dripping off the end of my arm blade. I ripped the hook out with a quick jerk, which caused more blood to spray, and pulled it in to me and held it in my hand=

=We get into Comms distance to the station.=

=i walk down a hallway, and a Marine exits a doorway in front of me. His rifle is raised, and ready, but pointed the wrong way. It seems as though he was looking for someone, maybe me. I didn't give him the chance to turn around. I whipped the knife around his neck, tightening the trailing cord around his throat until he couldn't breath, then jerked forwards then backwards, snapping his neck with an audible crack. I picked up his rifle, unwrapped the cord from around his neck, and continued down the hallway, looking through various doorways for anyone=

=It wasn't long before the trade ships, followed quickly by the 1st Scout Flotilla, emerged from slip-space over Haven. They were hailed by the main fleet, and once their identity was confirmed, they cleared to land inside Haven, while the scouts left, on a course far out into the system on a patrol route=

=So, for the next few hours, I gave orders, read reports, and more or less did my duties. The team I sent out, that had sustained injuries from the in atmo slip-space jump, had finally received aid. The transports I sent out, equipped with medical personnel, reported back that the most critically injured patients were already on their way back. They'd be out of the field for a few weeks, but they should make a full recovery. As for any uninjured that survived, they were being stationed back at their respective bases. Once I was sure that our forces were prepped for any surprises, I handed the reins over to my second in command, and headed back to the Serenity=

=We get closer to the docking bay and try again.=
=Comms=
"Hello? Anyone there? We're entering the docking bay, please open the doors."
-Yet again no response-
=I look to Jessie=
"No response at all but we need to get help... let me see if I can do something. Make sure those things don't get out."
"I'm going to go inside and have a look see, ok?"

(Jessie)
"No, don't, far to dangerous. We should wait until they op--"

(Al)
"No time. Do you forget the creatures we hold? We need help, now."
=I don't wait for her to say something else, I exit the room then go to the emergency escape pods.=
=Once I'm there I Comm Jessie.=
"Alright, I'm going. Lets get this over with."
=I use a pod to transport myself into the station.=

=The trade ships soon landed back inside Haven, at the ship-yards, where they were met by crews of people that began aiding them in unloading the animals=

=an engineer turns the corner in front of my. I throw the hook before he can run back, and catch him the in the side of the stomach. I yank on the cord, and throw the knife, resulting in the man stumbling forward and getting impaled in the chest. I walk forward and take out the knife and hook, hearing someone shout down the hallway and then running. I turn and check a nearby room, finding two more engineers hiding behind a desk. I spin the knife by the cord and walk towards them slowly=

=While I walked to the teleporter, I checked my data pad for the status on the trade ships. So far, things were progressing well. It was going to take a while, before all the animals were fully unloaded. There were hundreds, maybe a thousand in total, and all were being sorted. Cattle would go to one area, poultry to another. Tanks were also unloaded, filled with fish. Even (to my surprise) horses were being unloaded. I guess someone managed to slip them into the manifest. We were already set, with a temporary......ranch, was the best word I could think of, to house the animals, until a more secure set of facilities could be made and operated=

=I'm glad those things are out of my ship, disgusting.=
=I need a moment so I slip into the captain's cabin to smoke a cigar.=

=After a bit I enter, now that I'm inside the pod opens.=
=I'm greeted by the station's A.I. and several people.=

"Who are you? Who gave you permission to enter?"

"I am Alphonse, Spartan 89. I had thought this station was under attack because it's comms are down."
*A.I.*
"What? The comms aren't down.... What is your ship's name?"
(Al)
"Infraction, its literally right next to this place."
*A.I.*
"I'll try to contact your ship...........hm It does seem our comms are down. I wasn't informed of this, I must speak with the captain immediately."
(Al)
"Wait, before you do that can you open a hanger bay so my ship can dock? And we'll need marines or whatever fighting force you have."
*A.I.*
"We'll open the doors but why have marines?
(Al)
We've been attacked by creatures of unknown orgin and they're on our ship, along with a Spartan and a O.N.I. officer."
*A.I.*
"Animals you say? How did that happen? Ill get everything ready."
(Al)
"We were setting up base camp when attacked by these. They boarded as we took off.
=Comms=
"Jessie, they're open. Lets set this up.

(Jessie)
=I move the ship towards the station.=
=After awhile the ship docks.=

(Hans)
=After the Council meeting, when I returned to my chamber, I reviewed the reports. The days events were not what I had expected at all. Samuel was dead, for starters. Shame, he was a good asset. In a way, he could still be a valuable asset, as I could use his death as fuel for the fire I would soon start. I relayed the news in a private message to a small group of people, a movement I was starting. Soon, we'd use all that I had gathered as symbols, lightning rods to gather more to our cause. But for now, I would have to keep things going as they were, with the other Councilors believing I was still with them=

(Dormii)
=i exited the room, fresh blood on my knife and armor. I heard an alarm start up, an intruder alarm. I tapped into the station's systems and located the source of the alarm. A room a few hallways down. I turned and started jogging down towards the room. Blood dripped from my armor and my blades. I held the rifle in one hand, not intending to use it for accuracy=

=It took Delta a while to get to the main hanger. He entered the hanger bay, clearly frustrated. He looked around and saw the pile of scorched black metal that was once the Eirav Wing still smoking on the floor. He approached a group of crewmen who were surrounding it=

Del- What the hell happened here!?

=One of the crewmen emerged from the rubble, his face covered in soot, holding a tool of some assortment in his hand=

CM1- I can answer that, Sir.

=Delta crossed his arms=

CM1- Well, it looks like the ship was hacked into at some point, which set off the AI's automatic self-destruct. Somehow, the hacker was able to delay the reaction, and it ended up happening here.

Del- Hmm. Is anything from it salvageable?

CM1- No, sir. If anything, that just means the self-destruct was able to do its job good.

=The crewman chuckled half-heartedly=

Del- Any casualties?

CM2- Multiple. Two men inside the ship, who we still cannot find, and one who was working on the outside. He was torn clean in half. Doc's got him down to the medbay quick enough, but i doubt he'd make it. Other than that, it'd be just the handful that got hit by some shrapnel.

Del- Dont let this kind of thing happen again. Get this cleaned up and send a report to the Techies when youre done.

=Delta turned and went back towards the exit to the Hanger and made his way to the Bridge again=

=I climb aboard then make sure the area is still sealed, they are. No reported openings.=
=I exit the ship and talk with the marines gathered around.=
"What you're about to see is quite big, something you must not have seen before. Knowing that will you still help me?"

*Marine*
Yeah! Lets kill this b*tch!

*Marine*
Lets get this over with.

(Al)
=I was glad they were still willing to help out.=
"Alright, follow me. Get your weapons ready."
=I grab a shotgun from our armoury.=
=Jessie comes with her sword ready.=

Everyone got into position, Jessie, Marines armed with scatterguns and me in front. We're kneeling while the Marines in the back (just armed with standard weaponry) are standing.
Immediately we're greeted by a couple of the huge beasts, clawing at the door, wanting escape.
They ran to us and we opened fire, dropping many but they still came unphased.
They never came close enough to do harm, they were annihilated.
That was that, it was over within 7 minutes.

=I stand up=
=I look back to the marines.=
"Nice work everyone, thanks for helping."

*Marine*
What the hell was that? They're big sons of b*tches.

(Al)
"Ill explain later but for now go back to what you were doing."
=I dismiss them=
=I go back aboard the station.=

(Dormii)
=by now, the alarm had spread throughout the station. I could hear multiple alarms going, out of sync, making an orchestra of beeps and wails. I turned a corner, and then another corner, working my way towards the original source of the alarms. Someone is trying to stop my revenge, they will be my next target=

There's sirens going off now, must be because of the communication problems they're having or....is there another problem?

I just got reports of a killer near the medbay, we need immediate assistance. He is in armour, armed but with as I was told knife and chain.
Highly dangerous and will kill without remorse. I advise you to be careful

=The hologram disperses.=

Paarthurnax could hear the alarm now too, he grabbed both his swords and lighted them all up. He had recently been to the Medical Bay, when he arrived for assistance, so he headed that way immediately, paving down hallways, who was it? What killer? Where?

He quickly made his way there, not being far away from there at all, just a few hallways.

(Dormii)
=i found the person who hit the alarm, talking to someone on a personal comm unit. I quickly moved up behind them and impaled them on my arm blade, flicking them off with a backhand motion, blood splattering up the wall and armor. I look around and notice two other people, Marine by the looks of it, just getting their rifles up. I aimed the rifle I had in their general direction and fired, keeping them distracted and moving while I walked closer. They ducked and rolled behind some tables, and I got close enough to kick a table into one of them. The other, I sent the hook around his arms and pulled him close enough to press the muzzle of the rifle into his stomach and fire the last few shots in the magazine. I dropped both him and the rifle and turned to the other Marine, now getting up from the hit from the table. I leapt over to them and landed on his leg, snapping it and pulverising the bones. He screamed, loudly. I silenced him with my arm blade, impaling his throat and face, cutting off the ait flow and destroying the brain. I sid him off, collected my hook-cable-blade, and walked out of the room. I wrapped it around my arm and drew my spear-flail=

Paarthurnax arrived just as Dormii was finishing up here.

"Beautiful Dormii, as usual."

(Dormii)
=i turned and pointed my spear at Paar before pausing=
Paar. Non UNSC.

=i lower my spear and keep walking, searching for more people to kill. Blood steadily dripped off my arm blade and armor, leaving a small trail behind me=

(Al)
=Comms=
"Jessie, be on your guard, there's a killer about. Heavily armed, very brutal and in armour. I'm guessing one of the ones we're looking for."
=Almost there=
"I'm guessing Dormii Fortuni or Dante Faulkner."
=I find a body, dead.=
=I take his weapon, then keep going. One body after another.=
=After a minute I find the killer and a decent amount of blood.=
=There is also a Elite? This Elite also rogue? Doesn't matter, they're killing everyone.=
=I raise my recently obtained assault rifle and aim it towards them.=
"I'm giving you one warning, stop all this madness and drop your weapons."

Paarthurnax tried to get his breath back before setting off in the opposite direction of Dormii, in search of hostile activity. He stealthily travelled around, moving around silently, no sound whatsoever.
Non UNSC contacts, what would they be doing here?

Then he heard footsteps, then they stopped. His jaw dropped as enemies appeared around him, armed to the teeth. He could see a UNSC soldier, one with an Assault Rifle, pointing it towards the heavily armoured one.

"What?!"

Paarthurnax rolled over to the friendly human.

(Al)
=I jump back to avoid the Elite, I aim my weapon at him instead of the Spartan.=
"Freeze Elite! Don't make another move!
=I quickly change my assault for my shotgun.=

Paarthurnax grunts at the friendly human.

"I am with Dormii!"

He could here bullets being fired, he grabs the UNSC Spartan and puts his own back towards the fire, protecting the Spartan. The bullets melted his shields and did considerable damage.

(Al)
"Whoa, hold your fire! Friendly!"
=They're every bit as confused as I am but for different reasons.=
=I turn my attention to the Elite.=
"What did you say? Dormii?"

Paarthurnax drops to his knees as smoke piles off of him.

"Indeed...indeed so."

(Al)
*sigh*
"Somebody! I need immediate medical assistance!"
=A marine runs over.=
"Get him, next time, think before you shoot, huh?"
*Marine*
"Hes the enemy, we can't just help him because he took bullets for you."
(Al)
"Hes not the enemy, that Spartan over....he left now but hes the enemy, not this Alien."
=I pull the Elite up onto the marine whom got help from another.=
=Comm=
"Jessie, I have positive information that the killer is Dormii Fortuni. I'm going after him now."
=I turn around and run towards Dormii.=

Paarthurnax understood what was going on, something had happened to Dormii, he got from the Marines' grip, he got to his feet.

"I understand, I understand. Dormii?!"

He starts running in the same direction, whilst holding his wounds.

=After walking through the teleporter, I arrived outside the Serenity. While it may have been nighttime back at Alpha Base, down here in the Inner Shell of Haven, it was always day. I took a moment for my eyes to adjust to the sudden sunlight, and when I was sure that I wouldn't walk into my own ship due to sudden blindness, I continued on. The doors for the cargo bay opened, and I made my way inside as they closed behind me, a hissing sound coming from the doors as they sealed themselves. A minute later, after taking the elevator up to the crew deck, I found Miranda, once again sitting at the table=
Hey Miri.

(Miranda)
=I looked up when I heard my name called, and saw Jason exiting the lift=
Jason, good to see you back. What was going on?

(Jason)
That's a bit of a story. Short version, things just got messy.

(Dormii)
=the Elite, Paar, had taken bullets for me. I had to avenge him as well, but not against that many Marines. I ran, intending to ambush around corners and doorways. My weaponry jingled as I ran, making small bell-like sounds. I turned a corner and ducked into a room before they got too close=

(Miranda)
=I frowned a little=
And the long version?

(Jason)
=With a sigh, I decided to tell her=
Well, we managed to find Xazhi's ship, and gathered some intel off of it. However, Delta had sent an infiltration team to recover the ship, and their method of recovery was an in atmo slip-space jump. My team was inured, including one fatality. We were able to contact Delta though. He was upset that Xazhi died, but when he heard that he was trying to kill you, and that someone hired him to do it, he agreed to a cease fire between us, while both his people and mine gather more information on this situation.

(Miranda)
Okay, so how can I help?

(Jason)
Help? Miri, this is the same situation that almost led to your death.

(Miranda)
=My voice became as hard as steel=
And I intend to find out who tried to have me killed. I still have a huge amount of sources, and favors, that I can call on. I can find out who did this faster than you can.

=Finally, Xazhi arrived back on the Azure Comet. Delta immediately called a meeting between them, informing him of all he know of what had happened. After a lengthy conversation, Xazhi began telling Delta of what he knew. He was able to find out from Lady Arachne that his son was indeed hired by some man. The man went by an alias, so neither of them were quite sure of his identity. They adjourned the meeting, and Delta returned to the Bridge, while Xazhi went down to one of the training rooms to vent. Delta decided not to tell Jason of what he learned just yet, for he wanted to be sure of any suspicions before then=

=I followed the faint sound of jingling, I mean seriously how many weapons does this guy hold?=
=They eventually fade away up ahead.=
=I cautiously look around.=

(Dormii)
=i could see someone following me on my motion sensor. I call out=
UNSC. Ultionis.

=I go to investigate then my sensor shows a red blimp moving.=
=There, I follow that instead, very very carefully.=

=Sure, I could have argued. But lets face it, she made a very good point. I mean, when I was on the run from Vigil, I didn't have much time to really cultivate any contacts. Miranda on the other hand, had close to a decade, of earning the trust, loyalty, or at the least debt, of dozens of contacts. She'd have the best luck of anyone i knew, of finding real information=
Alright, fine. Put some feelers out, but please, just stay here.

=The grin that broke across my face must have been special, because while his face didn't show it, I could see in his eyes a twinkle of pride=

=After exiting slip space, I immediately see a vessel floating there. I realized what it was, a trading vessel captured fifty years ago, went off the radar and no one took a claim to it. So this is what happened to it. A few defense turrets have been added, maybe three of them, for defense I guess. I then got hailed by the General=

I see you made it here, Jeremy. Land in loading dock one, and wait for further instruction, I have a few things to show you.

=I hesitated before I answered=

Yes sir.

=I landed in the hanger, and a few soldiers walked up to the door of the dropship, they looked like Marines, except they were white and black uniforms. The soldiers opened the door and waited for me to walk out, after that, they told me they would lead the way to the observation deck. Once we reached there, the General was sitting in a chair, looking at space=

Jeremy. Welcome to my ship, how do you like it?

Sir, wasn't this ship stolen fifty years ago?

=I let out a chuckle=

Jeremy, this ship belonged to GloboTech in the first place, it was just a cover up to hide our operations outside of explored space. I want to show you something.

=I got up, and did a hand signal telling Jeremy to follow me=

You see, GloboTech has slowly become a small, military based Corporation. With that, we need our own technology, so we have been developing new weapons, new armor, and a new breed of soldier.

=We walked into a hanger, full of Wolverines=

This, is the Wolverine Anti-Infantry walker, based off the Cyclops meant for suppression and elimination of hostile infantry.

=I starred in shock at the walker, two miniguns? Overkill really, but why would we need these?=

Sir, what exactly would we need these for?

Well, you see, the UNSC isn't happy with their recent discovery of what they call "Stolen Property of the UNSC". And to take action, they need to destroy any and all of the information we have, including you, Jeremy.
