Chapter 3-A: Calm before the Storm Part 3

=Immer looks puzzled. She explaines what happened in the courtyard=

=i escort Draco from the room= Ash, what do you remember?

I take aim through my scope and see him walk into position.

Perfect

I fire the shot through his shoulder, forcing him to drop to the ground in pain and make my way down there.

No... No... How...? It was all a dream?

=She looks back down at her leg and scream=
I thought it was a dream!?

=She begins to cry=
The Beach... And lying on the ground the pain... The screams... I was alone out there..

=She stops talking the memories to painful to think about=

David fell to the ground, screaming out in pain. He looked up to the ridge and noticed someone climbing down. He had a good idea of who it was, too. He held his shoulder with his other hand, cursing under his breath.

Once i reach the bottom i sprint over to David, flipping him onto his front with my foot and crouching down to position my pistol at his head

You brought them here. Your responsible for all this. Ash's leg. Everything. I knew you were trouble. Give me one good reson i shouldn't kill you right now.

(He sits down)
(He begins to cry)
I dont want to lose you.
Not now.

=i put my hand on her arm, and on her shoulder= It's ok. Don't think about it. Just rest.

=i go outside to Draco= She needs you. Go.

=heard s sniper shot and goes and see jay pointing a pistol to davids head= what the hell do u think your doing jay

=Immer tries to settle her down=

Immer- It's okay. It was no dream, but the worst of it is over now. All thats left is for you to adjust to your new leg. It may take some time, but im sure Voutan will help you through it.

Voutan- =laying on the adjacent bed= Nope.

Immer- Okay then... i will.

I yell at Zeru.

Stay away. This has nothing to do with you Zeru. He's the reason they came here. He's the reason Ash lost her leg. He's responsible for all the pain and misery happening right now.

(He stands)
(He walks in)
(Eyes lowered just like before)

I glare at Zeru

No. You back away. This is nothing to do with you.

=She looks over to Immer=
Why? Why did he shoot off my leg...?

David holds his arm, looking up at Jay, "If you really want to make me suffer, let me live. Killing me won't solve anything. And, there's Zeru right there." He bites his lip and looks at his shoulder to see how bad it is, just barely holding back several screams of pure agony.

I turn my attention back to David

Your right. Killing you solves nothing.

I holster my pistol, sigh and stand up.

Sleep tight. You won't recognise yourself when you wake up.

I slam my foot down into his face, knocking him unconscious and collapsing one of his cheekbones. Blood spurts from his nose and half of his mouth if just a bloody mess. I turn and walk off but call to Zeru.

Go ahead. Treat him now. He won't ever forget this.

i guess u have no honor nearly killing a defenseless man lying down if u try that again i will see to it u never have use of ur arms again

=rushes david to medbay asap=

Immer- It was Vas, our sniper. After Voutan came up to David, you started shooting at him. Vas had no choice but to subdue you. Im sorry.

David collapses instantly, unconcious, but will surely awaken with a massive headache.

(He stands in the doorway)
(Silent)
(Unmoving)

=She looks over to Draco=
Draco... Please come here...?

=She looks back at Immer=
What does it mean? Why did I black out?

=i walk outside. i see Jay= Jay!

=i run over=

(He walks over to her)

I turn to Dormii.

= looks at the others= jay's lucky i had to tend to david here

Immer- My guess would be that you fell uncoincious from the pain.

Well first of all, hi, how was your day? Second, something I should know between you and David and Zeru?

=She reaches for Draco's hand=
Pain...? I don't remember any pain... But the pain when I was shoot... That felt like it could of killed me...

I stare at him coldly

I walk off

=i walk after her= Listen, I know you are angry. But what happened to Ash was not David's fault. He was just trying to run from ONI, same as us.

I turn around and almost punch him before realising what im doing and stopping

Dormii. Go. Away. Before i do something i regret.

(He grabs her hand, just like before)
(Silent)
(Unmoving)

=i tense as she moves to punch me, but relax= No, I'm here to help. Talk to me.

I get close to him, position my leg round the back of his and push him, tripping him onto the ground.

I said leave me alone.

I walk off again

=closes up the wounds=

now it's a waiting game

=i get up and continue after her. i say nothing, but follow at an appropriate distance=

I turn around with my knife in my hand ready to throw

I don't want to throw this. But i swear to god if you keep following me i will do.

Then throw it. Anger is not a good thing. It finds a way out, even towards those you love. Throw it. I accept it. That is not who you are. You are a kind person, meo amo. Prove me wrong, throw the knife.

=i keep walking at the same pace=

Urgh you are so infuriating Dormii.

I throw the knife into the tree next to his head, activate my camo and run off.

=i keep walking, same direction, same speed= =i call out= But who are you really angry at? Me? David? Vas, the one who shot Ash?

=i keep walking, ignoring the distance i travel. i come across a bunker. i head inside=

=She looks over to Draco=
I thought I was free from all this...

=She climbs to the edge of the medical bed=
I think I need to talk to the others...

Immer- I suggest trying to move your new leg at all before attempting to walk anywhere.

=She forces a smile=

=inside the bunker, i smell cordite. I draw my knives as i continue, going further and further in. i find bullet holes and burn marks. Old, but there nonetheless=

=She wraps her arm around his to gain her balance=

(They walk on to try and find the others)

David lays unconscious on a bed in the medbay, his wounds now closed, however he still looks terrible. He has a dream while he's unconscious, a dream about how the situation would've gone by if he'd only rolled the opposite way.

He would've taken the bullet instead of Ash, they would've taken him aboard his ship and given him medical treatment, and he more than likely would've broken out and came back. All of the chaos and pain would have been avoided. Sadly, that was only a dream.
