Chapter 4: Exodus

=i keep laughing, i can't stop it= Jay, please. I see...pain, death, suffering. I don't want to be that. I don't want to see that. I don't want to cause it. Do something. It's all I can do to not keep walking.

=Nalepa Monday blurs into Animus Vox. the vision continues=

(He begins to shake)
(He screams out)

(He continues to shake)

(He stops)
(His eyes continue to look towards the sky)
(Rain continuously pounding him)

=the sound lets me regain control over my arm, but the laughter redoubles, and the vision gets clearer. i frantically send my arm backwards, looking for her. my head turns slightly, as i see the survivor= No....Jay....survivors....help....all....die....gods...no....

(His eyes still unmoving)
(The rain hitting them both)
(Thunder rolls)
(Lightning cracks)
(Insanity ever looming)
(The memories still scrolling)

=i snap out of it, the song vanishing with the vision. i sit down on the bed. i squeeze Jay's hand tighter= Thank you, meo amo. I don't want to be that evil. I don't want to be what the UNSC sees.

=i start crying=

=i wipe my tears and kiss Jay= How you fell for an idiot like me, is beyond me. Crying over a dream.

=i mock contempt and kiss her again, longer=

(His eyes begin to move)
(Going over each memory)
(Searching for something in madness)
(He brings his hand up)
(They vanish)
(He sits up)

Never will I fall.
Not again.
Never again.

(He looks out to sea once more)
(The rain washing over him)

=i hold her closer with one arm, while the other moves down the side of her body=

=i kiss harder, with more urgency, my tongue starts to ignore me and ventures forwards, but i pull it back before it goes to far. i put both arms behind her, trapping them there=

=my tongue goes forwards again, playing a game with hers. one arm goes up to cradle her head, the other slowly goes lower and lower=

(He continues watching)
(Waiting for the sun to rise)
(Waiting for the rain to cease)
(Waiting)
(Watching)

=my arm goes to its destination, but is blocked by clothing. i small snarl escapes me as it tries to remove the offending articles. my tongue keeps going=

I push him back slightly

Slow down a bit.

Sorry. I can slow down.

=my hand stop trying to remove anything, it simply moves down her inner leg= Better?

I pull his hand further up my leg

=my hand starts massaging through her clothes, teasing, toying. i kiss her again=

=i put my hand off to the side, running it along her leg, down and up, down and up. my tongue invites hers=

David, still in the workshop, looks around at all the various contraptions, then back to his new gloves. He flexes the glove on his good arm, grinning as the needle-like blades move akin to his own motions. He suddenly feels a stinging sensation in his side, looking down to notice what appears to be an infection, and combined with the pain from his shoulder and face, is enough to bring him to his knees, stumbling and knocking the chair across the room, his bad arm -by instinct, of course- goes down to brace the fall, but only causes more pain and furthers the issue. He rolls over onto his back. Flashbacks and nightmares he had so easily contained before because of his strong will now come back to haunt him, before he passes out from pain overload, physical and mental.

=i stop as well= Anything that I did?

=i move off to the side and kiss her again= Well, it was something, whether by me or something else. I can wait. Tell me if you want to.

(He lets a few tears escape)
(The rain begins to stop)
(The clouds begin to dissipate)
(He lets the night consume him)
(The sand cold, wet)
(He cares nothing of his current state)
(He looks out focusing on the moon)

=i see her arm moving. i put mine around her stomach, trying not to interrupt her= Am I allowed to know what it is you are drawing? Or is that the problem?

=i sit up slightly= May I see what it is?

=i look into her eyes, they seem to swallow me whole= Well? Are you going to tell me? =i put my other arm around her= Or do i have to resort to drastic measures? =i smile, lovingly and jokingly menacing=

=i smile and jokingly say= I was kinda hoping you would ask that.

=i slowly start to unbutton her clothes, the kissing starting up again=

(Hope appears behind him)
(She puts her hand on his shoulder)
(He keeps it there)
(She leans in)

Hope-You are falling into it

(He says nothing)

Hope-You know. The medication is not working.

(He continues to say nothing)
(He looks down, then back to the moon)
(The moonlight shining)
(Washing over them both)

Draco-I want to be free.

Hope-Ashlie wants the same thing, the only thing you can do is accept who you are.

Draco-I am a monster nothing more.

Hope-Stop spouting that nonsense

Draco-Its true, here lately they have been becoming more frequent. I dont want to fall to Lose myself.

=i raise an eyebrow and smile= Well? I thought you wanted drastic measures? Did I perhaps misread your hand?

=my smile fades= I don't understand. What am I doing or not doing? Please, talk to me.

=i start rubbing her back= If you don't tell me, I can't change it, if it's something I can change. I'm trying to help you ,Jay. Please, just talk.

(Hope disappears)
(He looks back down to the sand)
(His eyes darken)

Dont leave me

(Zayne appears in front of him)
(He tilts his head)

Zayne-Why are you cryin

(He says nothing)

Zayne-Fine dont talk

(He looks back up to the moon)

Draco-Go. Leave me.

(Zayne tilts his head)
