MERP round 3 RP thread

Sera smiles. "I'll pay...unless you want dessert." She shrugs. "After either of those, where do you propose we go next?"

"I can pay, I've collected up alot of money in my life. Besides I wouldn't want to be a burden."

I smile.

"And how about that dance I promised?"

Seraphim's cheeks go redder then before. "That's why I want to pay. You're already here and offering another dance for free. I'm the one who shouldn't be a burden."

I smile and rub her hand.

"Fine I'll let you take this one."

Sera payed the check, not moving her hand.
"Um...how am I doing so far?" She looked away. "I...really haven't gone on dates before..."

I stand up, pulling Sera up with me then pulling her close. I wrap my arms around her waist.

"You're doing fine Sera."

I smile.

Sera stuttered a bit, unsure of what to do. She liked the position she was in, but by god, she just could not articulate a single word.
The stripper made her speechless.
Oh so speechless.

I smile, leaning in closer. Then stop.

"I guess we should be leaving."

I had almost given her a kiss, but stopped myself.. I didn't want to do anything stupid.

She nods, her face somehow getting redder.
"Y-y-your p-p-place o-o-or m-m-mine?"

"Your place."

Screw it

I give her a kiss, before letting go and heading for the door.

Sera smiled nervously...then was dumbfounded, shocked, etc.
Kissed? A...kiss?
Already?

The shocked Sera was dragged along (albeit easily) by Staria, who was blinked and trying to articulate her thoughts.

I'm walking, my hand around Sera's waist, when I notice somethings wrong.

"Sera you ok?"

Sera looks at her.
"I-I-I d-d-dn't e-e-expect th-that k-kiss." She admitted, still stuttering.

I blush.

"Sorry, you just looked cute and I couldn't help myself. Now where is your apartment?"

"That way." She points, trying to not become more awkward from the compliment. "It's the...one that doesn't look as decrepit as the others around it."

I walk on looking around for something that fits the description. Finally I spot one that may fit.

"Is that it?"

I point out the building.

Sera nodded. "That's it." She said. "Um...and...thank you...no one really...has complimented me before." She looked away for fear of her face exploding from nervousness.

"Well they must be stupid or blind."

I smile and let go as we arrive in front of the entrance.

"Lead the way up."

Sera lead Staria up and into her apartment. It was a two bedroom one, with a small kitchentte, a TV, a decent couch, and her bedroom was sparse, just a bed, dresser, and nightstand.
"It's not much, but it's home.
Of course, the Alliance Military-Grade hardware lying under my bed isn't exactly "not much" she thought.

I'd left the market street, heading back towards the Residential District. Usually I didn't take too much notice of what people were doing, but this Human caught my attention. He was putting up a wanted poster of sorts.

I smile.

"Its better than what I got here, I'm just staying in a hotel.."

I run my hand on the bed.

"So you want to do this?"

"Um...yeah? Just...tell me where to sit I guess." She wrung her hands out a bit after putting her jacket away and kicking her shoes off.

=A Human mercenary in black armor was putting posters up. In large red print they stated=

"REWARD"

=In smaller text, they went into more detail=

"Five prisoners have been found to be hiding among the commons of Omega. If you see them, report to this contact immediately. If you are strong enough, try to capture them, but beware. They are formidable. A reward of 500,000 credits or more is being offered for each prisoner, dead or alive."

=The Human turned around to see a Turian approaching. He approached the alien and handed her a poster=

H- Have you seen these fugitives around? A hefty rewards is offered for them.

I looked at the poster, quickly scanning the picture on it, before noting the Human walking towards me. I listened to his question.

"I haven't seen these 'fugitives' around, no." I answered, taking the poster.

H- Alright, well if you have any information regarding them, or come across any, report it to the contact listed on the posters. They're giving out credits like free candy for any info on these guys.

"Well, I'll keep an eye out for them. What exactly where they in prison for?"

=The Human shrugged=

H- I dont know. I wasnt told.

"I understand."

I turned, walking away, allowing the Human to carry on with his job.

=The Human nodded and went back to hanging posters. A few moments later, shots rang out, and what looked like two Turians in full White armor came running around the corner. One had an assault rifle of some kind, and the other a Pistol. They were followed closely by a Krogan who also had a heavy pistol, which he used to shoot one in the leg. The Human turned around in time to see the commotion as the one of the fugitives went down. He called out to the Turian that had just left=

H- That's them!

=He then ran towards the trio and put his foot on the wounded fugitive's back, placing a pistol to his head=

H- Don't move a muscle.

=The Krogan caught up to the other and grabbed him by the back of the neck, slamming him into the ground and holding him there. With the other hand he tapped the side of his helmet=

K- Two of the Fugitives have been apprehended. Over.

I followed the Human, watching him and the Krogan apprehend two of the prisoners from the wanted poster. I just watched, rather than attempting to do anything.

The black-and-green human soldier walked up to one of the wanted posters, eyeing it over before sighing and turning around. He wasn't up there, yet. He then walked back to his apartment, where he had left the "head" of the mech up on his wall, the rest of the piece paid for with the sale of some "slightly damaged" processors. It was nice, being invisible for once. He then sat back on his couch, and dozed off, snoring loudly. But then they came again. Creatures of nightmares, the Reapers that his father had told him about in scary stories back when he was on Eden Prime. They plagued him, hunting him to the edges of the galaxy. He fidgeted and twisted in fear, something he didn't feel often. These imaginary creatures scared him more than a death-spewing mech did.

=The two fugitives screamed and struggled desperately against their captors. One looked up at the Turian as the Krogan began to remove his helmet. The strange, alien creature beneath made brief eye-contact with the turian before a shot from the Krogan's heavy pistol pierced his skull. The hulking mercenary then replanted the fugitive's helmet and picked him up, holstering his pistol and slinging the body over his shoulder. Blood dripped from under the helmet. The other fugitive gave up the fight and lied on the ground, apparently weeping=

What was that... Alien? It looked Turian, but so different. It intrigued me. For two criminals with a bounty of 500,000 credits on their head, they didn't seem very... Violent. I felt like I should help this 'Alien', yet, what could I do? I wasn't armed, and I doubted I could take on a Krogan in close combat.

"You didn't need to kill it, Krogan." I looked at the Krogan, awaiting a reaction.

Tom awoke from his long slumber due to a knock a door. A stroke of luck, or so it seemed. He went to the door, unlocking it to find a heavy pistol pointed at his face. He stared down the scarred Krogan, who was smiling.

"I've come to collect." He said in his deep voice.

"Have you?" Tom replied, smiling. "Well, you must know..."

He punched the Krogan in the throat repeatedly, then pulled out his old knife and jamming it into the large alien's eye haphazardly,before, backing away, and catching his breath, looking at the reptillian creature curled up on the ground in a pool of it's own blood.

His only response was "They've found me."

He grabbed his weapons and exited, making off for the docks.

I shrug.

"Anywhere you like."

Sera looks around. "Um...well...my room then?" She says, motioning to the bedroom. "There should be plenty of room there."

I arrived at the docks, after tearing down multiple wanted posters, and shutting down the Eclipse network. They wanted me dead, and I knew I couldn't stay. Or could I...? I thought for a second. Repainting the armor, grow a beard, and maybe the Eclipse would decide they had something else to do. I wired them 1000 credits, and ran off again, towards the markets. It was a long shot, but maybe I could pull it off.

=The Krogan shrugged=

K- They're worth just as much dead as alive. It's less trouble this way.

=The Human looked down at the wounded fugitive below him, hesitiating to shoot. The Krogan glanced over to him=

K- Well?

"Don't do it Human."

I walked forwards slightly.

"You have the chance to take him alive, killing him would be... Murder."

The sprinting Engineer arrived on the arrest scene, and stopped, leaning against a nearby wall to watch. He was always curious.

=The Krogan turned fully to face the Turian=

K- What business is it of yours, Turian?

=The Human continued to hesitiate. The Fugitive continued to be still=

I follow her into her room.

"I'm going to remove some articles of clothing, just a heads up."

I flash a wink.

"It's none of my buisness Krogan, but I see no point in causing unneccesary death."

I continued moving closer to the Human, hopefully I wouldn't have to actually try anything.

Sera blinks a bit, her face again red. "Ok." She managed. "Should...should I just sit down?"

=The Krogan sighed and turned to the Human, grabbing his SMG off his belt=

K- Would you rather I do it?

=The Human was loosening his grip on his gun=

H- No... I can...

=Just then, the Fugitive leaped up, sending the human up onto his feet and stumbling back. He turned around and grabbed the human's right arm, placing the other hand on his torso, and violently pulling, ripping the arm out of its joint and off its body altogether. The Krogan did not hesitate to raise his SMG and fire ten rounds into the Fugitive's chest and stomach. He dropped to the ground dead, and the Human fell into a pool of his own blood, grasping his profusely bleeding shoulder, screaming=

I strip down to my underwear.

"That would work."

I grin, pushing her down on the bed.

I didn't have time to think about what just happened, I just ran over to the Human, attempting... To... I wasn't even sure. He had just had his arm ripped off, there was nothing I could do. I had no medical equipment on me, all I could do was kneel by him and well, watch. I didn't even know what to say.

Sera gave a small start, but relaxed immediately after as Staria pushed her down on the bed.
"Am I...allowed to touch again?" She asked shyly.

=The Krogan sighed again before, out of nowhere, shots rang out. 24 shots from an assault rifle equipped with incendiary ammunition, and 12 from a heavy pistol. All but a few embedded into the Krogan's back before he could even react. From an alleyway, two more aliens garbed in the same white armor as the fugitives emerged with surprising speed, standing over the bodies of the two fugitives and the two mercenaries. They faced the Turian and raised their weapons towards her, clearly ready to shoot=

I turned to face what I assumed to be two more of the prisoners, while raising my arms.

"Okay, there's no need to shoot me. I'm not with these mercs."
