MERP round 3 RP thread

Sera looked ashamed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you..." she said quietly, looking away with embarasement.

I reach and kiss her exposed neck.

"You didn't offend me babe..."

I go back to strokijg her hair while kissing her neck.

Sera relaxed and looked a bit brighter.
"Thank you for being here for me. I...I usually would have been here all alone while recovering from something...but that's usually just a nick or twisted ankle."

I continue to pet her hair. giggling at a mental image of her in the med bay cause of a tiny cut.

"Is this the worst injury you've sustained?"

"Yeah." She winced as she moved wrong. "Not very long visits..." she sighed. "But I should visit more. I like being petted." She giggled.

I roll my eyes again but smile.

"When do you get out of here?"

I lean in close to her ear.

"I want to try out that.. new room.."

Sera blushed. "Day or to...I got a gut shot. That doesn't heal overnight..." she reached up to touch Star's cheek. "Keep the bed warm?"

I kiss her hand and nuzzle it.

"It would be warmer with you..."

"As much as I want to curl up with you again like on Omega...I can barely move. There's a reason my lower body is covered with a sheet you know." She looked away, blushing.

I frown, knowing what I've said was alittle offensive now. I lean down and gently kiss her on the lips. I pull away then hover there, nuzzling my nose against hers.

"I'm sorry Sera.."

"Um...I was refering to the fact I can't get up...mwleaning I am connected to a machine so I can go to the bathroom."
She blushed, but nuzzled back.

I go back to kissing her, enjoying the softness of her lips. I wrap my arm around her neck while the other trails down her arm. I notice I'm halfway on top of her, but don't care at the moment. I continue kissing her for a few seconds before breaking away.

"I.. I need to sleep.. will you be ok Sera?"

Sera kissed back, the touched her lips. "Yeah. Make sure my stuff is in my room." Sera smiled. "I will Star. You're just across the mess hall after all."

I nod and give her one last kiss before standing up.

"I will, and I'll be back as soon as possible."

I smile and walk around the med bed and towards the door.

"I love you." Sera said after her. She then closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I pause at the door and look back at her as she drifts to sleep.

"I... I Love you too.."

It has been along time since I've said that to anyone, but saying it to Sera felt right. I walk out and grab our stuff and head to her new room. I place the stuff on the ground next to the desk and promptly collapse on the bed, tired. I sigh then quickly wiggle out of my uniform and snuggle up beneath the covers.

Barenziah was seated at her desk. Nothing but reports and oetters.
"Requiem. How long until Connor is up?"
"Two days minimum. She has taken grievous damage. First day she might be able to move around. Second day minimun activities. Four days to full operational capacity."
Vex sighed.
Lovely.

The hospital was eerily quiet, as I walked down the hall outside my room. the sound of the door softly shutting was just about the only thing I heard, that wasn't from my feet or my breathing. The white halls had advanced equipment stacked to one side. Each piece more alien than the next.

As I approached the end of the hall I saw a light blinking in the ceiling, small LED of some sort. I looked at it briefly and then puzzled over which direction I should take. The hall split into two directions. One looked much like the other, I stood, thinking.

( 48 hours later )

I wake, not exactly knowing what time it was. Space did that to you, sleeping habits got disrupted and you tend to sleep whenever you want. I get up out of bed and slide into my suit. Most of time was spent keeping Sera company and eating, sometimes both. (Not a sex pun, though I wish :3 ) I felt like we had bonded more, and it made me feel guilty, me not telling her what I really was. I sigh and walk over to the med bay grabbing a drink and then walk in taking my seat next to Sera. She was still asleep so I just sat there, sipping on my drink.

Sera woke up soon enough. "Always here before I wake up. Trying to impress someone?" She laughed softly, reaching for Star's hand. "You're not a hallucination, right?"

I laugh and set my drink aside before taking her hand.

"I'm probably the best looking hallucination you'll ever see.."

I grin and poke my tongue out at her.

Sera smiled. "Yeah..."
The door opened, admitting the doctor.
"Ah. Miss Dalinari. That makes it easier..." he se his clipboard aside. "Miss aconnor is being relsased to her room today. If there is no objections, could you assist her for the next few days? She still is weak."

I look up and nod while giving Sera's hand a squeeze.

"I can do that Doctor.. Anything I should keep a eye on?"

"Blood in her urine. Intense pain when not moving. Coughing up blood. Anything that could point to more problems. Just keep her in bed, help her to the bathroom. Be a nurse essentially."

I nod, taking mental note of everything.

"She.. she can walk right?"

The doctor nodded. "But she shod go slow. No running, sudeen moves, and no sex." He added, noting their held hands and not knowing the full extent of the relationship but adding it as a precaution. "Give her a few minutes to wake up. Then you can take her to her quarters and settle her down."
The doctor turned to his terminal, finished.

Still Tom sat in his cell. He had lost track of the time, as there was no way for him to know and the guards wouldn't tell him, but his guess was around 36 hours, probably more. He had tried to be nice with the guards, and had found that he lost his animosity towards his captors as time went on.

"So, I think you're new. What's your name?"

I nod and look sideways at Sera with a funny grin. I squeeze her hand again, waiting for her to be ready to move.

"Kramer." The marine replied.

Sera squeezed bsck, then slowly sat up. She took her hand away from Star and moved her handw under the covers.
"Um. My legs are pretty numb...so I'll be leaning on you a lot."

Tom nodded. "Kramer. Hmm. Where'r you from, Kramer?"

I bend over and wrap my arm around her wast, then slowly pull her up onto her feet. I wait a few seconds to let her adjust then lead her to her room, while leaning on me.

"Don't worry, I got you."

Sera gratefully leaned on her. She smiled. "I know you do Star. I know."

I lead her into her room, the door closing behind us. I smile and pull her close to me, hugging her gently and kissing her.

Sera carefully hugged back, returning the kiss

Kramer sighed. "Eden Prime."

I grin and lead her over to bed and lay her down gently.

"You need anything?"

"A massage?" She asked innocently, looking up at Star with Bambi eyes.

I grin and climb onto the bed with her. I lean my back against the wall and pull her onto my lap.

"I can do that."

I knead my finger over her shoulders, working on her tense spots.

"Oooh...that feels niiice..." Sera groanedd as a really tense spot was hit. "Dancing, kissing, hugging...now massaging? What else can you do that makes you amazing besides yourself?"

I laugh.

"I can think of a few things.."

Sera blushed, then wiggled her shirt off. Her naked back was presented to Star. "My shirt was scratchy." She explained.

I grin and slowly run my hands down her back.

"Sure..."

I laugh and go back to massaging.

Sera sighs with contentment. "Thanks for everything Star...I'm glad you're here for me..."

I lay next to her and spoon against her back.

"It's nothing Sera.. we're in this together."

I reach around and grab her hand.

Sera brings Star's arm to her waist, holding her hsnd. Sera snuggles up close.
"Yaknow...you can make yourself at home." She said shyly.

I laugh and nuzzle her neck.

"Well... those door lock right?.."

"Yeah..." she blushed. "Keep those pants on though."

I grin and lean in close.

"Its a jump suit, there are not pants.."

Giggling I slide out of the uniform and throw it down.

"Then your underwear." Sera corrected. "I...just wanted to feel your skin against mine. However creepy that sounds."

I lay down next to her and resume our last position.

"Commando isn't my style Sera."

"Except ehen dancing." She teased. "And..." she smiled, osing her eyes. "Your smin feels nice..."
