ZRP-2: Chapter Two, Paradise in Hell

Eve frowns. "Only crossbows." She says sadly. "Maybe we can find you something." She said to Sam.

Hibiki headed over, grabbing a P90 as well, and more ammo. "Sweet. And more ammo!

(James)
"Hey, you used to be a SWAT officer right Hibiki? Maybe they have some gear you can use."
=As I talked, I placed the P90 in my lap while I rolled along to collect ammo and a few other weapons=

(Sam)
=Walking to a table with shotguns, I picked up a classic: a Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun=
"Oh baby, where have you been all my life?"

=I may have said that in a husky tone, I wasn't sure=

Eve blinked.
"I'm right here." She said deadpan.
[i]I am not having another Casey on my hands. Chuck didn't deserve him; neither did...ok, point, he was pretty cool..."

Hibiki nodded. "I was. Means I'm in a candy store."

=I then look at a beautiful black rifle=

Hello my sweet H&K 416... daddy's here

=I then get the 416, grabbing a beta mag and a couple of 30 round mags=

Oh baby, oh baby, oh baby...where have you been all my life?

=I grab the rifle, nearly lavishing attention on it like a child=

(James)
"I meant protective clothing, like riot gear or SWAT gear."
=I wheeled back towards her, doing my best not to jump up and down in glee at all the weapons (which kinda had me worried in a small way)=

(Sam)
"Eve, turn into a shotgun that I can cradle in my arms and have my finger on the sweet spot, and then you'll get the same voice."
=Still, I said it in a teasing tone=

"I'd say something to 'sweet spot', but then you'd be so awkward..."
Eve starts looking at handguns.

Hibiki nods, heading that way. "Yeah..."

(Sam)
"Hah, you'd like being in my hands Eve."

(James)
=I couldn't resist=
"Oooookay, keep it in your pants Sam......her mother is over there with a loaded gun."

=I can't help but laugh a bit, slinging the 416 over my back=

I'm now a very happy man with enough ammo for a small squad.

=I grin=

I'd love to meet the dumb asshole who wants to take us on.

=I look at the pistol table=

Oh...baby, baby, baby...come to papa...

=I then grab the old .44 magnum revolver, aiming the empty pistol one handed=

(In my best Clint Eastwood impression, grinning) Do you feel lucky, punk?

Eve blushed. "Yes, I would." She said quietly.

Hibiki, meanwhile, was putting on body armor. With a P90, a lot of ammo, a katana, and her hair pulled into a short ponytail down her neck...she looked fucking badass.

(James)
=Now it was my own turn to blush when I saw Hibiki garbed in body armor, her hair pulled back=
"You.....are so hot right now."

=Ah mouth, will you ever not fly off the handle?=

(Sam)
"Hey Eve, maybe this would be a perfect time to pick up firearms? I can teach you a little, if you want?"

=I walk over, stuffed to the gills with weaponry, twirling the .44 magnum=

Bring it on, walkers...

=I then holster the pistol, grinning. I then pull my best Dirty Harry impression, pulling out both of my pistols=

Do feel lucky, punk?

=I grin like an idiot=

Eve smiles. "Would you?"
She smiled brightly, hugging Sam.

Hibiki blushed, turning to present her shoulder blade. "Now you're embarassing me."

(James)
"Kinda my job, though looks like Andrew is doing a better job of embarrassing himself. Having fun over there Dirty Harry?"

(Sam)
=I hugged her back=
"Anytime Eve."

Hibiki giggles a bit. "Yeah..." She resumes her composure, going to explore.

Eve didn't want to let go. "So...what's first?"

=I turn beet red and walk over=

Yes...that I am.

=I meet the group, grinning like an idiot=

(James)
"Just be careful man. At the risk of quoting 'A Christmas Story,' you'll shoot your eye out."
=I rolled over to where Hibiki stood, and out of the corner of my eye I saw what looked like...vehicles, under tarps=

"Hey Cooper, you've got cars down here?"

(Sam)
"Start with letting me go, and we can pick out a gun for you."

Hibiki looked over to the tarps with interest.


Eve reluctantly let go. She then stood on her toes and got as close to Sam's ear as possible.
"...I'm not going to let go when we get back to the room though." She said softly before relaxing back to her normal height.
"Which gun?" She asked.

(Sam)
=I blushed, a small tingling sensation emanating from my ear where she had whispered. I focused though on a gun on the table=
"How about a Winchester rifle? Easy to use, decent range, and good stopping power."

*Cooper*
"Yeah we tend to keep Humvee's down here, or combat vehicles we salvaged. Even have a few motorbikes."

(James)
=Wheeling over to one tarp, I pulled it back to find a matte black Humvee=
"Hi ho silver....."

=I grin with James, whistling appreciatively=

I call back seat.

=I look to Hibiki=

If you want to ride shotgun, of course?

Hibiki perked up.
"Motorcycles?"

Eve cocked her head. "Ok. I'll try a rifle." She said.

=I take in the response=

I'll take that as a no...

If that's the case, I call shotgun!

(Sam)
=I picked up the Winchester, the model having that metal loop thing under the trigger. It was a very John Wayne gun, and I handed it to Eve=
"We'll find a safe place to shoot, and work on your aim."

*Cooper*
"Yeah, we have a few. They're under the smaller tarps over there."
=He pointed to a small group of tarps closely arranged near the Humvee=

(James)
"Wouldn't mind being able to drive one of these bad boys....though I guess gas for them is hard to come by?"

*Cooper*
"Yeah, it is. Right now we have enough to last a few hundred miles, maybe more. But we'll run out soon enough unless we can find a way to make more gas."

Hibiki throws the tarp back.
"Hayabusa. I am commandeering this bad boy. No debate."
She swung onto the motorcycle, grinning. "I have wanted one of these for so long."

Eve held the rifle. "It's heavy...I'm used to my light bow."

(Sam)
"You'll get used to the weight Eve."

(James)
=Okay, when she was sitting on that motorcycle, I felt my body heat up at the sight. God, she just looked hot on that thing=
Geez, quiet the hound dog, aren't we?

=What could I say, I was in love=

Eve nods. "Alright..." She smiles softly. "I think this will work..."

Hibiki was examaning the bike, having put the body armor and guns aside. "This thing is amazing..."

(James)
=When I got close enough for her to hear me, I whispered=
"So is the woman sitting on it."

(Sam)
"Good."

Hibiki blushed, then kissed him. "Thank you."

Eve tugged Sam's sleeve, wanting her to get to her level.

(James)
=Accepting the kiss, I broke it off for the sake of public decency and wheeled back over to the guns=

(Sam)
=Curious, I bent down to Eve's level=
"Yeah Eve?"

=I give James a smirk=

To take a page from the King himself, sometimes "You ain't nothin but a hound dog."

=I grin=

But don't worry, I can be a hound dog myself sometimes.

Eve threw her arms around Sam after setting the gun aside. Apparently, she just wanted to hug Sam.

Hibiki rolled her eyes. "My god. You're an idiot sometimes, Andrew."

=I then realize my error, turning a bit red=

Way to go man...

I'll freely admit that.

=I then look to the others=

Anyway...shouldn't we gather the rest of our group?

Mira's going to kill me if she ever hears I said that...

(James)
"Yeah, we should. Just need a sack or something for the guns and ammo."
=Instead of a bag though, I found an attachable strap for the P90, and had it hand on the handle to the wheelchair behind me for easy reach=

(Sam)
=I blushed at the hug, holding on for a few seconds before letting go and standing back up=
"Should we split up to find them?"

I was in the food eating type place. It looked pretty deserted, except the guards standing at their posts.

Imagine if these people actually do join our cause. They'd be doing real, productive thgings. Not guarding a dine in.

I kept that to myself though, wouldn't want to tangle with them. So I had just gotten my food. A bunch of Vegetables.
I don't even know why I got them. I guess I thought "get the good stuff while you can!" And by that I mean the good for you.
Not the tasty stuff. Not like there was anything good tasting here. Just vegetable, far as I can tell anyway.
Right now, as in the present. I just finished my food and pushed away the plate. I lay my head down on the table.

Yep, you guessed you it, I'm thinking about Jennifer again.

(James)
"Yeah, that works. Hibiki, you might want to leave the bike here for now, doubt we'll need it."
=I rolled off to the entrance of the armory=

(Sam)
"I'll look for Tyler. You going to find Abel?"

(James)
"That's the plan Sam."

=I smile=

I'll go check on Mira, see if she's up for some action.

=I chuckle lightly=

Hibiki looks like she's about to cry, but surrenders the awesome piece of machinery and gathers her things to follow.

Eve wraps and arm around Sam's waist. "Are we going straight to the firing range or to fighting?"

(James)
=I couldn't help but groan at Andrew's joke=
"Andrew, get serious here. We're prepping to kill walkers, not get laid some more."

Granted it'd be nice if I could get some action myself, but with this wound? Been through this before....


(Sam)
"Let's find Tyler first, then we'll look into practice."
=I took the girl by the hand, following James=

=I sigh, facepalming=

Not that kind of action.

=I rub my hand over my face=

I meant see if she's in fighting shape.

Eve blushes. "I wanted to go back to our room...I just want to spend some more time with you, before risking our lives."

Hibiki sighs softly, catching up to James.

(Sam)
"Sorry Eve, but we've got work to do. Maybe after we'll see, but walkers first."
=I didn't let go of her hand though=

(James)
=I heard footsteps behind me, and made a guess as to who they belonged to=
"We saw Abel back in the cafeteria, right?"

Eve nods. "Ok. Promise?"


Hibiki smiles. "We did."

(Sam)
"Promise."
=With that, we left the armory, following James and Hibiki out of the stadium=

(James)
"Well, let's see if we can't track him down there. Hopefully he's still there otherwise he'll miss out on the fun."
=As we started to keep pace with each other, her at my side, I wanted desperately to hold her hand. I couldn't though, since I needed both to run the damn wheelchair=

Eve smiles. "I love you."

Hibiki nods. "Yeah. Wouldn't want that."

(Sam)
=I blushed a little, still not used to having her say that to me so much=
"Love you too Eve."

=My grip on her hand tightened=

(James)
=We got out of the building soon enough, and made our way back to the hotel=
"So...we're going to need a way to deal with the walkers. Thoughts?"

=I smile=

I'll go see if Mira's in fighting shape.

=I then head out, feeling like a little kid on Christmas=

"Well. I was planning on Andrew leading Mira, Brook, Abel, and Tyler against them with some of the men here, as I lead Eve and Sam, with part of the army, to take out the Shepherds. Was my original plan."

Eve's hand tightens back, just a bit.

=I give James a slightly miffed look=

That's not the impression Hibiki gave me.

=I frowned=

I thought I was going to get a crack at the Shepherds.

(James)
"Yeah well, we don't even have any soldiers with us. It's just us dealing with this remember?"
=In time, we neared the entrance to the hotel=

(Sam)
=We caught up to James and Hibiki, and I did what I could to get in the conversation=
"Well, we lack the numbers but we have ammo. We could set up a trap, lure them into an ambush?"

Abel was back to leaning against the wall, sitting in the corner table once again.
He was still unsure what the plan was, so he decided to try and sleep, thought that wasn't working out too well.

=I rub my chin for a moment=

That seems like plausible idea.

=I wear a slightly contemplative look=
