ZRP-2: Chapter 4, Backtracking

(Allie)

I look down at james and H.

"Yeah, just walkers. Nothing big."

I unshoulder my rifle and aim down at the zombies hand. I fire and the shot takes off two fingers and part of its middle finger.

Eve giggled, gripped her gun more firmly, and fired, cleanly blowing it's brains out.
"Like that?"

(Sam)
=I blinked=
"Better. Now, try a few more shots before loading a fresh clip, and aim for the mid-range target."

(James)
"How many?"

*Guard*
"Only around twenty, nothing to worry about kid."
=He fired another shot=

"Make that nineteen."

(James)
=I know he didn't mean anything by it, but kid? Come on, I wasn't a kid anymore, especially in this world=

(Allie)

I fire a shot in between a zombies eyes.

"Poor old yellow"

(James)
=I couldn't help but laugh at Ace=
"Old Yeller? I didn't think anyone else saw that movie."

Eve did so. She took aim, and took out the guy's eye.
"Um...I guess he won't be needing that contact lens..."

(Allie)

I look back down at him grinning.

"Are you kidding? It's one of my childhood favorites. Almost cried every time, almost."

(James)
"Same here. Shame though that there's no way to watch a movie anymore."
=Still, I stood down at the foot of the wall with Hibiki. No gun, so no point in going up=

(Sam)
"Yeah, I guess not. Nice shot by the way."

Mira was looking at some big machine gun.
"Oh. Sorry. Ok!"

Eve smiled. "Thanks."

(Andrew)

=I sigh, a half smile on my face=

Let's improve your aim first...then we can go use the big guns.

=I hand her the .22=

Now...try and hit that middle target.

(Allie)

I my smile turnes sad.

"Who's to say we can't? A lot can happen. Maybe one day well have tvs again."

(Jenny)

I sneak ip behind tyler and tap him on the shoulders.

(James)
"One can hope.....heh, maybe there's a movie theater in the city we can clear out, and see if they have any films on storage."
=The thought of sitting in a dark theater, watching a movie with a bucket of popcorn was certainly tempting, even more so when I took into account that Hibiki would more than likely be with me=

(Sam)
"No problem. Now, keep firing."

(Allie)

I climb down and strecht.

"That would nice, folks here could use some RnR."

(James)
"Well....maybe we can work with the townspeople here. I mean, actually make this more of a town and not just a residential area."
=I pictured carts, or trading areas set up in the street, people out and about. Still living, talking, trying to live despite the world outside the walls=

Eve emptied the clip, doing ok.

Mira pouted, then took the gun and did her stuff.
She hit a shoulder, a stomach, and complete misses. "Uuuhhh...."

(Allie)

I look over at my tent and lean to and frown.

"I guess we could more civil. But I've never lived in a town before. ."

(Andrew)

=To say the performance was pitiful was probably putting it kindly. I resisted the urge to facepalm=

Well...it does certainly need some work.

=I let out a sigh=

But I'll make a marksman out of you yet...

(James)
"Never too late to try Ace."

(Sam)
"Yeah, not bad. Not great, but not bad. Now, pick up the Winchester, see what you can do."

(Allie)

For some reason that made me bust out laughing.

"Almost missed my chance, didn't I? Closest thing to a town was the camp in Iraq."

(James)
"Heh, well we are at war now. Might as well think of this place the same way."
=I looked to Hibiki, who had been silent the whole time=

"Something on your mind Hibiki?"

I jump up and turn around, ready for a Zombie. I realize it was only Jennifer.

"Oh shit! It's... whoo! It's just you. Thought you were a zombie."

(Jenny)

I glare and punch his arm.

"What are you saying, I smell bad?"

"I might've..."

I smile, meaning it was a joke.

"You just scared me senseless."

(Jenny)

"Scared of a girl?"

I grin and take his hand.

"Ha ha ha."

I laughed sarcasticly while she took my hand.

"I think you know what I mean."

(Jenny)

"Its okay tyler I don't bite."

My sparkle with mischief.

"Oh ho ho! That's certainly good to know if you know what I mean..."

I grin, trying to hold back some laughter.

(Jenny)

Glareing a lean in and give a quick bite on the neck that turns into a kiss. When I pull away, I look at him with a cocky grin.

"Rarr."

"You're just sooo... cute, you know that?"

Just to prove my point... well not really prove... bah whatever. I lean down a little and kiss her on the neck. Then start to trail up.

(Jenny)

I ghasp and blush now that I was the center of teasing. I bring my arms around him and pull myseld closer into his grasp.

Hibiki shrugged. "I'm just quiet."

Eve picked up the Winchester, took aim, fired...and was thrown onto her butt. The rifle flipped over her head and landed on the ground behind her.
She looked up at Sam sheepishly. "Sorry..."

(Allie)

I smile at her.

"I'm usually quite, like to spend time alome thinking. But every now and then I need someone to talk to."

I grin because she had pulled me closer. Obviously I've gotten some confidence in the past few days.
I mean I wouldn't ever start anything like this, yet here I am kissing her neck, cheek and then her lips.

(Jenny)

I return the kiss, holding tyler tight to me.

Saying I thought alot of things... would be an understatment. And all about her. Her taste, what she was thinking and other stuff of that manner.
After what seemed liked hours I pull my head back just inches from hers. Mostly to breathe.

"Still want to bite me?"

(Jenny )

I blush and look away defeated.

"Maybe.."

I look up into his eyes.

"Only if you bite back.. :

I gigle and nuzzel my face ibto the curve of his neak and hug him.

I hug her back and rest my chin on her head. I hold her tight. At this moment I realize I've never been this close to anybody...

(Sam)
=God, did I do my best not to laugh. But with what had happened, it was futile. I burst out laughing, so hard that tears came to my eyes and I doubled over. I soon wound up on my ass, one hand over my mouth, the other clutching my stomach the laughter hurt so much=

(James)
"Oh, okay. Still though, what do you think? Re-open a theater?"

(Jenny)

I could hear a hesrt beat, fast and loud, thouhh I was unsure who's it was. A blush reappeared and I pulled back stuttering alittle bit from my nerves.

"T-tyler you.. you want t-to go er.. head to my room.. and.."

I trail off and hope he gets my meaning. I try to get ahold of my nerves but I've never been in a situation like this, except once but then I felt fear and killed the men. This was diffrent, exciting and nerve rattling at once.

Pouting, Eve didn't get mad.
She got even.
With a flying tackle, she now had Sam on her back.
Eve, now on top, did the one thing anyone would do.

She tickled Sam mercilessly.

Hibiki smiled. "I like that idea."

My throat got really tight once I thought would be next.

"I.. do- you? Uh... mean um?"

I barely manage to squeek out. Is what I think she means what is going to happen?

(Sam)
"Oh god, don't! Stop!"
=I managed to get some leverage, and flipped us both so that I was now on top. I stood back up, looking down at her=

"Not the best place for this sorta thing Eve. Honestly. Now get up and try again, work on your posture."

(Jenny)

I nod and take his hand, leading him back to our the apartments.

I take in a nervous gulp of air, having to force it because my throat is so tight. At least that's how it feels, it probably isn't that bad.

Oookay. Calm down. This is perfectly normal. Just two people... Oh God, how old are we? Fifteen? Should we be doing this?

Eve stood up, still giggling.
Once she had calmed down, she crossed her arms. "You were laughing your ass off. I only helped you reach your goal."
With that, she picked up the Winchester and resumed her position. "Um...then how do I stand and stuff?"

(James)
"Then I guess we can put it on our to do list."

(Sam)
"Well, make sure you have a good grip on the gun, or the kick will send it flying into your face. Keep your legs wide, and ready to absorb the recoil."

Mizore watched the shooting from the back, holding her handgun by her side. She watched the guards shooting, unsure of whether to help or not.

Eve did as told, then fired. She stumbled back, but at least she didn't fall on her ass.
And she managed to hit the target in the chest.
At least.

Hibiki grinned. "Good."

(Sam)
"Better. Try again, but maybe try a different stance. Maybe one foot in front of the other, and keep your legs stiff."

(James)
=Shots were still being fired and I found it odd at how much I wasn't alarmed by it. Guess once I knew what they were firing at it didn't seem that threatening anymore=

Eve nodded and did as told. This time, she managed a decent shot, without falling.
"That better?"

Hibiki sighed and just followed James.
