=I returned to my ship, only to find Miri with a bit of a frown on her face=

=She walked towards me, stopping a few feet away from me=

@ Jason- Have you asked for their help yet?

=I folded my arms=

I told Dormii that I needed to talk to him. I said I needed help on something, and he said he'd be willing to help.

=She relaxed a little=

Oh. Well, that's good. I was afraid that we'd drag this on for too long.

=after training for a while, I comm Jason=
Hey, what was that you needed help with? I don't care what it is, I just like details.

=The comm terminal flashed, and a message came in from Dormii=

=I turn to Miri, but she already nodded=

@ Jason- Call me when your done.

=I went to the terminal=

Hey Dormii. Yeah, that thing I need help with...... It would probably be easier to explain if you came to my ship.

=I reply=

=I start heading to Jason's ship=

Alright, I'll make sure you're allowed on board.

=I turned to Argo=

Argo, let--

@ Jason- I already heard you.

=I turned back to the terminal=

Okay, when you get aboard, meet me in the mess room.

=I headed down to the mess hall=

=I reach the ship and head on board. I start going towards the messhall=
I'm on board. Where are you?

=I see Dormii exit the elevator, and walk into the mess hall=

Over here. Have a seat. =I motioned towards the seats around the table=

=I go over and sit down, taking off my helmet as I do so=
So, what am I helping you with?

First, I said that this request had a story behind it. About two days ago, an assassin took a shot at me. I caught him, and interrogated him. He told me that Vigil payed him to kill me, and he also told me where he was supposed to meet one of their agents.

=I paused for some air=

I'm sure it's a trap that Vigil has prepared. I was wondering if you, and anyone else here would be willing to join me?

I had known for a long time that Matthias was perverted to some extent. I did not know, however, where these perversions lay. In fact, I was sure I had never truly known. Actually, I'm sure I knew deep down inside, what he was, the pervert he was. I was just optimistic about his nature. In retrospect, I think I did know. I also knew he had something devious planned when I first saw him on the ship. I would have never guessed what, until he told me flat out. The ship was going to leave again, and I made sure I was on, the meeting with Draco was pleasant, if short, and not under the best of circumstances. If only I had come out of this apparent stupor I had been in for so long. Or so it felt. Psychology is not always the most gratifying of sciences but it helps you learn more about yourself. Hopefully this journey of mine would help me understand my self more. The Ship was leaving port, I could feel the rumble of the ship as it began to ascend toward the heavens the stars. Oh how beautiful you are: My beautiful Sunflower.

One day after Jason, Dormii, and Miranda left for Vigil's rendezvous.

=We got back to the Trophaeum a few hours after our encounter with Vigil, and the first thing I did was head for the med bay=

=i wake up with a small jolt as we docked. i got up and went to my room on the Troph to put my gear away. after that, i walked around the ship, looking for people=

=Miri stayed on the Blacklight while I was stuck in the med bay. The doc there was able to set my ribs, and told me to take it easy for a week. Honestly, I could have been in a body cast for a few months, and I wouldn't have minded. But the only thing I couldn't stand, was the extra company I had. "Adam," kept following me everywhere=

@ Jason- So, what are we gonna do today? Go try some target practice? Stuff are faces in the mess? Or my favorite, you give it to Miranda, and I watch?

=I just stared, dumbstruck, at the little hallucination of the ten year old I shot=

=Two people walking past me gave the "is he crazy?" look=

=i walk into the Medbay, seeing Jason=

=I turned to face Dormii, and Adam just stayed where he was, though he pulled out a portable game system=

Oh, hi Dormii. Actually, the doc managed to set my ribs, and I was getting ready to leave the med bay.

Need a hand walking around? I'm happy to help, as I'm sure Miranda is, if you ask.

=I got off the bed. Adam just continued playing his game, but I paid no attention=

No, I'm good. Though I wouldn't mind getting a drink.

=Adam looked up from his game=

So it is going to be the mess hall? Well that's just great. We can have a food fight.

=Ignoring him, Dormii and I headed for the mess hall=

=Beside me, Adam gave a whine of protest=

Ahhhhh, I was hoping to see some drunk and disorderly conduct!

=we arrive in the messhall and i grab two bottle of water, handing one to Jason=

(I wake up)

Long day...

(I look around and get on my armor)

I should take that offer...after all, war put a shortage on everyone

(I bring up the offer on my VISR)

What would anyone else do in my position?

(I sit down and ponder the thought)

=I took the bottle, and gave it a long pull. I then set it down=

She may have been my teammate, but believe me, that's where the emotions ended. She was cold, heartless, and completely crazy. I didn't even view her as my friend, just someone I'd have to kill if she got out of line.

So, no feelings at all?

Other than relief that she's not alive, no.

=Adam sat down next to me, a big old chocolate shake in his hands=

@ Jason- Wow, that's cold.

=He looked from me to the shake=

(I feel my stomach rumble)

Cant think on an empty stomach...

(I head to the messhall)

If anything, I could just get a bite to eat...calm my nerves

(I open the messhall doors and grab a table)

=I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, while Adam used a straw for his shake. Unfortunately, he kept making those annoying straw noises=

=He threw the pie at me, but I sat there, with a straight face, as the pie hit me=

=I didn't flinch, or try to move out of the way. Despite that, I still felt the pie hit my face, still felt the cream cover me. That was the thing I quickly realized. Adam wasn't really Adam. He was my subconscious, given voice and shape. Anything he said or did, I could feel or hear, as if it really happened=
