ZRP-2 Chapter 6: Scattered

Eve hurried after her. Hibiki blinked.
"What just happened, James?"

(James)
"I don't know. They ate some sugar maybe?"

"Maybe."

Eve frowned. "See one?"

(Sam)
=I literally had just opened the door to the basement=
"Really? Really Eve?"

(James)
"Wonder what's for dinner later...."

Eve blushed. "Sorry..."

Hibiki shrugged. "I got nothing to cook with..."

(James)
"Heh, that would make for an interesting night."
=Stammering, I quickly raised my hands in panic=

"Dah, not saying that you cooking would be a beautiful disaster. Just that with us having a house and all, it would be interesting for us all to be seated at a table for a meal."

(Sam)
"Honestly Eve.."
=Swinging the door open wide now, I began walking down the stairs to the basement=

Eve followed closely. "Sorry...I...I am nervous..."

Hibiki smirked. "I know babe."

(Sam)
"Well then get un-nervous Eve. We're just checking to see if there's a couch down here."

(James)
"But honestly, we'll probably be stuck with canned goods again."

Eve blushed. "...right..." She followed and started to look around.

Hibiki nodded. "Probably...maybe we should go hunting."

(James)
"Heh, maybe. Would be nice, once you get past the zombies."

(Sam)
=As I was walking through the darkness, I broke out a glow stick, illuminating us in green light. That was about the same time my knee rammed against something and I yelped in a mixture of pain and surprise. Then I looked down, and found the arm rest of a sofa=
"Found one."

"Is it a pull out?" She asked, walking up. "And are you ok?" She asked, seriously concerned.

Hibiki nodded. "You can do the shooting part. You got the bow skills...wish Eve was better, then we'd have a better chance."

(Sam)
"Mmm, I'm fine. Just smarts a little. And I don't know....help me remove the cushions."
=I started removing the big cushions from the seat of the couch=

(James)
"Hey, that hurts. I am a great shot with a bow Hibiki."

Eve took a few and dragged them off to the side.

"It would double our chances if we had two archers idiot." She scowled.

(James)
=Open mouth, insert foot=
"Oh."

(Sam)
=When the last cushion was cleared, I saw it: the little handle that I'd have to pull to get the bed out. Looking behind me, I checked to see if we had enough space. It looked like we did=
"Okay, stand back."

Eve stood back.

Hibiki sighed softly. "Yeah. Oh."

(Sam)
=It was a bit of an effort, but I managed to pull out the bed. Whoever owned the place kept the mattress inside, though it was bent in the center and even then....very thin=
"Well....it's something."

(James)
"Well then......yeah, pity Eve isn't better."

"Mhm." was all Hibiki said.

Eve smiled. "Just needs some blankets."

(James)
=Well now I was at a loss for what to do. Have lunch maybe? Check and see if there was anything around town I could do to pass the time by?=
"So....now what?"

(Sam)
"Great. Means we'll have to get the blankets from the bunk bed."

"I'll get them." Eve volunteered.

"No clue." Hibiki admitted.

(James)
"Maybe now we try and practice some hand to hand? Nice backyard outside, soft grass."

(Sam)
"Jeesh, thought we were just checking to see if there was a couch bed down here Eve."

"...right..." Eve blushed. "Got...carried away..."

Hibiki nodded. "Sounds good."

(Sam)
"You think?"

(James)
'Great."
=I started walking for the back door, eager to begin=

"...yeah..." Eve sounded a bit crestfallen.

Hibiki frowned, then ran upstairs to find suitable shorts and a loose shirt.

(James)
=While Hibiki went upstairs for whatever reason, I stood out in the yard, letting the sun shine down on me, and the wind blow at my side. It was a very nice, relaxing feeling=

(Sam)
"Come on Eve. I said I'd do it, but I never said I'd do it now. Try not to rush things, otherwise you'll not only make things awkward, but you'll kinda make me not want to do it."

Eve looked at her feet. "Yes ma'am....I'm sorry..."

Hibiki finally got outside. "Hey."

(Sam)
"Eve...there's no need to call me ma'am. Honestly, I'm your girlfriend not your boss. Or your mistress."
=There was an image that sprang to mind: me wearing a leather bustier and heels with a rider's crop, calling myself "Mistress Sam," and all with Eve tied up somewhere. I shuddered at the image=

(James)
"Hey. You look good."
=Without meaning to, I paid extra attention to her legs=

"Don't see you in shorts that often."

Hibiki smiled. "Not very functional while trying to survive a zombie apocalypse."

Eve nodded. "Sorry..."

(James)
"True. But certainly less restricting. Or itchy."
=I took a step back, wondering just where I should be standing=

(Sam)
"Geez, it is sorry left and right for you. You have balls enough to ride out and save hostages, but not the balls to stand up to me?"

"...Nope..." She admitted shyly.

Hibiki took a loose stance. "Well. Come at me."

(James)
=Adopting my own stance, I thought for a moment of where to attack first. If I rushed in she'd take me down. So I needed to go slow, careful. Taking a step forward, I started with a kick to her right leg that was a feint, and prepared to follow up with the actual punch for when she dodged=

(Sam)
"Well I guess anatomically you have no balls......just find your ovaries dammit! Or something!"

"...I still can't stand up to you..." Eve said softly.

Hibiki went defensive at first, merely backing up out of James' reach.

(Sam)
"Well.....can you try? I don't know, maybe later talk dirty or something? Otherwise this is all going to feel very one sided."

(James)
=I pursued, aiming a few jabs at her torso=

"...I will do my best." Eve promised.

Hibiki jerked to the left but dodged right, aiming to grab James' wrist and twist it back to try and get him in a hold.

(James)
=I saw the feint, along with the real move. Pulling my arm away, I twisted my body so that my other arm came swinging towards her=

(Sam)
"All I can ask."

Seeing the twist, Hibiki dropped low and did a sweeping kick, aiming to knock James off his feet.

Eve smiled. "Ok."

(James)
=I couldn't dodge the kick, so I let myself get hit. Landing on my back, I let out a 'oof,' before curling my legs up towards me, before shooting them out. It was something I learned a while ago, to help me get up quickly. The kick may or may not have also been aimed at Hibiki=

Hibiki just jumped over his legs and went to land on his chest.

Eve brushed her pants off. "So...what now?"

(James)
=I decided not to get out of the way, instead catching her on my chest. It was an awkward position given that we still had our clothes on, me between her legs as she straddled my chest. I then curled my legs back, knees striking her in her lower back=

(Sam)
"I don't know. Wish the night to arrive early?"

Hibiki grunted in pain but pressed her arm into James' chest, elbow blocking one arm as she pinned the other with her free arm. Her knee rested against his crotch, not pressing, but there to let him know.

Eve blinked. "I wished. It hasn;t come true yet."

(Sam)
"Yeah well good things rarely come to those that wish for them."

(James)
=Well....she had me. Sorta. There was one thing I could try. It was going to both hurt, and feel weird as hell. I curled my back, lifting my waist. Her knee pressed down into my crotch painfully, but honestly with everything I'd experience in life, it was nothing. Now, I always had a strong back. It was something that made me a decent heavy lifter. So when I did all that, I actually lifted her off the ground, and very nearly flung her off me. As it was though, all I did was unbalance her, which hey was enough right?=
Never.....give....up!

Hibiki aactually let him fling her off. She rolled and came up, then entered a more offensive stance.

Eve sighed. "What can we do then, while we wait?"

(Sam)
"Knock knock."

(James)
=I quickly got to my feet, if a bit shaky at first though. God that hurt more than I expected=
"Always gotta aim below the belt, don't you?"

"Who's there?" Eve replied with a small smile.

"Hey. Pariah won't be playing by any honor code. You use anything you can and beat the absolute shit out of him. If that means ripping his dick off with your hand, you do it." She rolled her shoulders. "Ready?"

(Sam)
"Who."

(James)
"Eww....did not need the image of me ripping my brothers dick of Hibiki."

"I'm not an owl Sam, and if I was, I'd still be awesome." Eve replied.

Hibiki used the distraction to back-kick James square in the chest.
"Come on James! Dirty tactics is what the Shepherds live for!"

(James)
=The kick sent me stumbling, and when I regained my balance I grinned at her=
"Alright then!"

=Then I charged her, tackling her to the ground so that I was now on top=

(Sam)
"I thought I was the awesome one."

Hibiki might have James on top of her, but she then wrapped her legs around his left leg and started yanking it far out, leaving his groin open for a kick while she attempted to play scrappy, goi g to claw his eyes.

Eve blinked. "You're the awesomest..."

(James)
=With her hands coming towards my face, I did what I could to avoid them. So....I swung my head downwards, getting way too far within her reach, at least for the nails. Unfortunately, without meaning to....I kinda slammed my head against hers. Not hard, but it certainly hurt a bit=

(Sam)
"And don't you forget it."

Hibiki was stunned, and she laid there for a moment...letting her guard down...on purpose.

Eve nodded. "Yes miss Awesomest."

(James)
"Oww....."
=I actually got off her, rubbing my forehead as I stumbled back a little. Don't get me wrong I wasn't out of it yet, but I needed a few seconds=
