ZRP-2 Chapter 6: Scattered

Hibiki, a bit shakily, threw herself at James, pinning him to the ground, fist raised to clock his face.
"This isn't a movie. Your opponent won't lie tgere and let you recover without trying."

(James)
=Growling at her, I got my arms under her and rolled, shifting us both so that I was on top again, fist raised=
"You think I've forgotten? You think I'd have made it this far if I did?"

Hibiki smirked, then kneed James in the balls three times hard, without mercy.

Eve glanced around. She then walked up and poked Sam's tummy, giggling.

(James)
=Okay. That hurt. I fell off her, groaning in pain=
"Some win.....no sex tonight, ow."

(Sam)
=I looked up at the poking=
"What?"

"Bored. Your tummy is squishy." She giggled.

Hibiki panted, sitting up. "I'll gladly take some oral then." She shot back.

(Sam)
"You calling me fat?"

(James)
"It's not really the same though."

"Whatever." She winced. "A back massage then? Damn that hurt."

Eve shook her head. "No. It's soft and squishy. A nice pillow." She pressed Sam's hand to her own. "See?"

(James)
"Well, what do you expect? I've got a thick head."

(Sam)
"Not really."

Eve sighed. "I'm going to take a nap."

Hibiki groaned. "And my head hurts because of that thick skull."

(James)
"Everybody loses."

(Sam)
"On my stomach?"

"Bed. Unless you're offeeing?" Wve aaid hopefully.

Hibiki groaned. "Yep."

(Sam)
"Heh, maybe. But I'm not sure."

(James)
"Too bad I don't have a bag of ice. Though I may be feeling better in time for.....well, something."

Eve gave Sam Bambi eyes.

Hibiki rubbed her head. "I need asprin."

(James)
"Do we still have aspirin?"

(Sam)
"I don't know, still not feeling it."

Eve gets on her knees and looks up with the famous Puppy Dog expression.

"Yes. But for a simple headache? Nah..." she grimaced.

(James)
"Shit....also, how'd I do?"

(Sam)
"Oh alright. Come on."

"You nearly won because of that last tackle." She grimaced. "Pregnancy slowed me down."

Eve got up happily, taking Sam's hand.

(Sam)
"Wait, really? We already got the bed set up here, and it has a mattress. And the only pillow you need is me."

(James)
"Yeah keep telling yourself that."

Eve turned around. "R...really?"

"Ok." Hibimi keeps telling herself that.

(Sam)
=It was kinda adorable the way she was stuttering. And it also was creepy, in a small way. She didn't seem like 15 or 16 year old girl. She seemed more like a child, younger than that=

(James)
"Okay....now onto the aspirins."

Hibiki cracked up. "Funny."

Eve sat on the bed, looking at Sam with a mixture of hope and...nervousness would be it.

(Sam)
"Oh for the love of....get over here."
=Then I grabbed her by the head and hauled her down so that her head rested on my stomach=

(James)
"Wasn't trying to be."
=I sat down on the ground=

Eve yelped in surprise but blushed. Eve snuggled happily into Sam's stomach.
"I...I never want to be seperated again."

Hibiki sat on James' lap. "Oh well."

(Sam)
"Please tell me you'll still give me my space from time to time."

(James)
"Oh, so I guess we won't be getting the painkillers?"

"Of course." Eve said. "I...I don't want to cause you more problems...anything to make this work."

Hibiki rubbed her temples. "I wouldn't say no to a back massage."

(James)
"Heh, here or inside?"

(Sam)
"It's already working Eve. You're doing fine."

"Inside sounds perfect." Hibiki answered.

Eve nuzzled Sam's stomach. "I'm glad." She smiled. "So...can you lift your shirt a bit? Just...enough for me to feel your bare skin?" She asked shyly.

(James)
=I blinked at her=
"Wait what?"

(Sam)
=I had closed my eyes a few seconds ago, and didn't bother opening them=
"Yeah no, my shirt stays on."

"Just pull it up a bit..." she implored. "I won't try anything...I promise..."

Hibiki frowned. "You said here or inside and I answered inside..."

(Sam)
"No Eve. My shirt is staying where it is."

(James)
"Sorry, was thinking of something else. Yeah let's go inside."

"Ok..." eve gave up.

Hibiki got up. "Keep your mind on me please."

(James)
"Technically my mind was on you."

(Sam)
"Sorry Eve. But I'm just a pillow here."

"I just wanted my pillow to become even better." Eve said softly.

Hibiki rolled her eyes. "Riiiiight."

(Sam)
"It's not a bad thing to want more Eve. It only gets bad when the person you try, not want, to get it from says no."

(James)
=Getting to my feet, I walked with her back into the house. If I remembered, the aspirin was in one of the bags we had upstairs=

Hibiki stretched. "You eve n know how to give a massage?"

Eve nodded. "Ok...I'll remember that."

(James)
"It's all just rubbing, right?"

(Sam)
"Okay, good."

"Yeah. I'll tell you if you suck though." Hibiki teased.

Eve snuggled. "Thanks."

(James)
"Okay, that oughta wound my pride a little."
=Walking up the steps, I worried over how this was going to turn out. Hell I hope I didn't hurt her or anything=

Finally reaching her bed, Hibiki stripped her shirt off, and laid facedown. "Don't worry about being rough. I have two years of kinks to work out."

(James)
"Two years worth huh? It's a wonder you can still move at all."
=I got on the bed, down on my knees as I towered over her, gazing down at her bare back. My hands drifted down to the all too familiar skin, but I think in this new position, with this new purpose, it was only then that I realized how tense the muscles in her back were. I gently squeezed and knew what she meant=

"Damn...this could be a while."

"I am totally fine with that James." Hibiki groaned happily at the massage. He might not be the best, but damn...he was good at finding her muscles. She had needed this badly.
"Why did I never ask for one of these before..."

(James)
"Don't know. More interested in the other things my hands can do maybe."
=I kept massaging her back, going from her shoulder and then down along the spine, rubbing along the sides of her stomach=

Hibiki groaned happily. "So good..." she sighed with relief. "This is what I so needed..."

(James)
=I smiled a little, feeling a rising feeling in my chest=
"Well I do aim to please."

=I continued along her back, then began working on her arms=

"Thanks for this... I just...need this..." smiling, Hibiki was slowly relaxing fully.

(James)
"I can tell. No wonder you've been so upset lately, you're wound up so tight."
=Though even know it started to feel like the knots were being undone, and her muscles loosened and relaxed a bit=

"Then you should get me on this bed to massage me more." She groaned at particular not. "Ah...perfect..."

(James)
"Heh, I'll try."
=And the massage continued=



--South of Owensboro--

=The Pariah, having fled the battle, went south. There was Shepherd territory further south though it would be another day before he reached it. For now he stopped in another town, seeking supplies in an abandoned veterinary clinic. Clearing it of any walkers, he checked for anything to salvage; nothing but cotton pads, needles, and sutures. Perfect for what he needed, as he grabbed the materials and sat down in front of a mirror in the bathroom. Then, as he gazed at his reflection, at his cheek that had been cut open by his brother......he began to sow it shut=

Eve yawned again, closing her eyes.

Hibiki groaned. "You don't need to try. You are doing great."

(James)
"How much longer should I go on? I mean, my hands are starting to ache as well here."
