Chapter 5 Revelations of the Past Part 3

=I leave Dormii in his room and lock it=

=I go to clean up the mess from the battle=

David pauses and picks a name 'John Michael Clarke'. It showed a rather long list of memories, and he picks one that sounds rather interesting, "Operation: TUSKER".

He was brought back to a time he had only read about, the 21st-Century, a man and a woman -that man appeared to have a job very much like his own- speaking in Australian dialects to an African man. The man's short hair was a bright white that accentuated the whites of his eyes and teeth, and appeared to be very charming. His voice rang with authority, past military perhaps? Colonel, probably. The two appeared to be interviewing him.

After a while, they moved on to a younger man, probably the Colonel's right-hand man.

David hit fast-forward and stopped at a point that showed the two from earlier, John and the other woman, planting a bomb in the Colonel's home. David went back a bit to find that they had killed the Colonel's right-hand man.

It was the perfect framing act, and they had pulled it off.

=the faces fade away, leaving behind the pain and sorrow i felt when i killed them. i curl up on the floor, but do not fall asleep. a small blood pool forms around me from the bullet holes and the knife still stuck in my stomach=

=i start talking to my empty cell= Why can't they just leave me alone? I did what they wanted, I followed my training. Why? Why can't the leave me alone? WHY CAN'T THEY LEAVE ME ALONE!?

=I continue to carry bodies down the hallway, leading them to the hanger to be returned to their rightful planets=

It isn't easy being cheese.

I knock on the door to Dormii's cell, opening it anyway.

Dormii?

=i look up at the door= Jay.

=more tears form=

=I finished with the last body and return to my post=

I notice the blood around him

Jeez. Hold on.

I trigger my comm unit.

I need a medic in sector 7G now!

I turn it off

What the hell happened.

=I return to my post and see the door open=

Why is this open?!

=I see Jay and Dormii in the room and sigh=

Hmm.. bleeding out is he?

=i look away=
I talked to a Colonel, and things went too far. I lost control again. They wouldn't leave me alone.

I sigh and turn to Snow

Your a medic. Get to work.

I thrust him into the room before heading next door and knocking.

(He sighs)
(Ash had fallen asleep)
(He picks her up and places her on the bed)
(Putting the blanket over her)
(He sits next to her)
(He looks over seeing a hole with an object in it)
(He stands and walks over to it)

Hmm.

(He pushes it out, it lands in the room opposite thiers with a thud)
(He hears a knocking)
(Going to the door)

Yeah?

=I sigh again=

Very well.

=I begin to add pressure to Dormii's stomach wound=

I should have done something less lethal.

I shout back at Snow.

Yes you should have.

I say quietly to the door

Draco, it's me. Can i speak to you please?

(He looks down)

Yes, Just dont wake Ash.
Been through a lot today.

=I start by adding a bandage to Dormii's stomach to keep it from bleeding anymore=

=I begin to work on the bullet wounds=

=i go back to talking to myself, ignoring the thud from my makeshift hammer=
Why couldn't they leave me alone? I didn't want to hurt them, I just wanted to be left alone.

I sigh

Can you at least open the door? It would be nice to talk to you in person

(He opens the door)

(He walks back to the bed, sitting down)

What do you need to talk about.

Yeah, you attacked first.

=I take tweezers and carefully take out the bullet fragments one at a time=

Now I have to clean up your mess.

=i turn my head and glare at Snow=
Being sent to a firing range isn't attacking?! If I went with you I would've died!

=i grab his neck and pin him down to the floor=
I WILL NOT DIE!

=When I get pinned to the floor, the tweezers jabbed deeper in him and I struggle at his arm=

I.. I am.. helping you... and you try... to kill me?

=i ignore the tweezers and let him go= I'm sorry. I'm tense. All of this is too much for me right now.

=i force myself to calm down, slowing my breathing and heart-rate=

=I take a deep breath and flip back to working on him=

Eehhrm..

=I slowly pull the tweezers out of him=

Umm.. ok..

=I continue to pull the bullets out=

Just wanted to say i was sorry. And that, well.

I drop a piece of paper on the floor.

You and Ash didn't deserve to be here.

(On that paper is the details of my plan. Rehabilitation, faking our deaths. The way for us all to get out and live peacefully.)

I turn to go

Don't trust anyone around here

(He picks up the paper)
(Reading it)
(He looks up at her)

=I bandage up Dormii's bullet wounds and check his pulse on my watch=

Well.. you don't need any blood, it should replenish itself.

=I pat his leg and stand up=

I turn and shut the door after me, walking back into Dormii's cell.

How is he?

=i look at her=

Physically, fine. Mentally, I don't know. There you go, Snow, saved you some work.

He is just fine.

=I pick him up and set him on the oblong bed=

I hope...

=I clear my throat=

I glare at Dormii

I wasn't talking to you.

=I push Jay out of the room and close it so Dormii can't hear=

Hey, I don't think that ONI can put up with him anymore.

=I gesture down the hall=

He killed the Colonel and 3 men while you were "asleep"

=i look away and mutter to myself=

I shake my head

And just who exactly gave authorization for him to go see the Colonel? Huh? You?

(His tone dark)

You were just following orders..........

(He looks back to Ash)

Rehab is going to be hell

(He looks back at the note)

I hope you are not lying to us again Jay

(He walks to the bed and lays down)

Umm.. does it look like I can do that?

=I stand in front of the door=

=I dig into my medical bag to take out Jay's M6K=

I believe this is yours.

Who authorized it? I want a name.

I push the M6K away

Why don't you go ask the Colonel, he at the hanger. In a body bag.

Funny. Make another joke like that and i'll make sure you live on half-rations for the next week.

=After a few hours of getting re-aquainted with his old comrades, as well as being updated on the status of their current mission, he heads up to the bridge to send a comm to the nearest ONI ship. He makes sure he is on a secure channel=

Xazhi- Now that im back with my batallion, its time to get back to work...

Xazhi- To any Nearby ONI ships, this is Xazhi-1210 of the 128th Spartan batallion with a status update on the mission. We have gathered intel regarding Zeru Ishtar and his ship, the Tropheum. We also have reason to believe that he himself has been developing upgrades to MJOLNIR armor, as well as vehicles and weapons. Sending you full data report now.

=He sends them a report on the data they have collected=

Xazhi- Awaiting further orders.

(As the Admiral)

I receive the data on my pad and scan through it

Hmm this is good work Spartan. Stay with him and wait for an opportunity to strike. Restrain him, use as much force as necessary. Comm again when you have him in custody. Oh and any "injuries" he might sustain by accident. They will be perfectly acceptable

Xazhi- Yes sir. Oh, and one more thing sir. We lost the Talon in a battle engaged by Ishtar. However, we were able to transfer almost everything important, including every spartan, to a much bigger ship we captured, the Azure Comet.

(As the Admiral)

That is fine Spartan. You have full permission to complete your objective any way possible.

I shut the comm unit off and go back to monitoring the bridge.

Xazhi- Yes, sir. 1210 out.

=He shuts off his comms unit and starts farmiliarizing himself with the new ship=

=i start to realize where i am at right now, in a locked cell. the fear comes back. not a fear of small places, the fear of being locked up and forgotten. i get up and grab the "hammer" i made, now lying on the floor. i resume trying to knock a large enough hole in the wall, not caring where it leads=

(He begins to hear a banging again)
(He walks over to the hole)

(He looks at Ash, who had stirred)

We are trying to sleep.
