I struggle with it for a few more minutes after the knife hits it's head.

No good..... I don't think it's head is....Where......It's... brai....

I heave and throw it to the side. It hits the wall with a thud as i perform a jumping spinning roundhouse kick to it's head before punching it across the face and in the stomach. I grab the knife and wrench it out from its gut, twisting as i do so. I continue to slash at it until it turns and scampers away along one of the walls. I sit down from exhaustion.
