Chapter 2: Judgement

I grind my port side along The Victory's command room, leaving a deep scar in the windows and allowing the air to be sucked out into the vaccumn. I smile grimly before pulling my sabre back and landing into The Trophaeum's hanger.

That should do it, lets see them give chase without access to their control room.

I hear the comms.

Alright, time for some hunting i think.

=ship wide comm= Boarding parties inbound. We got another one coming people, look lively.

=i guess where one of the pods will impact and go and wait, shotgun at the ready. Memories are starting to surface=

No, no, no, no

Klaxons wake up Juli, "sh*t" she bumps her head on the bunk over her as she sits up abruptly. She gets a comm in text form that she is needed in the armoury asap. She runs through the halls bumping into people going in all direction as they try to keep the ships systems online, in the armoury she is asked to get into her armour and meets up with a squad of odst's, they are tasked with boarding the enemy vessel and captureing the captain and calling for a cease fire.
Juli and the odst's are sent to the torpedo bay and get into a boarding pod, they are then loaded into the cannon and aimed at the trophaeum, they are fired from the cannon and fly at a super high speed toward the ship and make contact with the hull, the explosives blow and the door open and they all rush out of the pod oand onto the ship.

I stalk down the corridors, listening to the announcements. After rounding a corner, i spot Dormii stood up against the wall and sneak over to his side

You ready flyboy?

=to Jay= I doubt it. But I choose to do this.

=i grab her hand in mine=

I hold the pistol in my other hand, ready. I glance down at myself.

I did so not dress for a gunfight today.

as they move further into the ship Juli splits off from the squad of ODSTs and heads towards the ships reactors, she had been given a side objective to disable the trophaeum's engines and power supply incase the captain couldnt be captured.

=i chuckle= Do we ever?

=the pod hits and marines pour out=

Occasionally. Wait there.

I walk around the corner, pistol in hand and stare straight at the marines.

the foreteam fans out inta a defensive position and cover the enemy from all directions

=Ash reaches the Cryo Bay=
He's not here Dormii must of got him to the medbay..

=Ash heads for the medbay=

I hold my hands up, the pistol still visible

ODST's! Leave this ship. I do not want to fire upon you.

"where not leaving" says the squad leader, he motions for one of the men to take her prisoner

=i burst from the cover, jumpjets on my right arm flaring as i knock the man over= LEAVE THIS SHIP! =i raise my shotgun= NOW!

Dormii, they've made their choice.

I sigh

You had the chance.

I leap forwards, smashing into the line of ODST's before opening fire with my pistol.

=Ash hears shouting and gunfire=

=Ash see Jay fighting an ODST=
What the hell is going on!?

they open fire on the two hostiles, one of them smashes some of the odst's to the ground, they fall back covering there retreat, leaveing two of there men behind dead.

Juli looks at the skimatics of the ship on her HUD she sees that she is nearing the reactor and pauses every couple of steps making she she doesnt miss it or get jumped.

I watch the ODST's fall back, still firing at them with my pistol.

Ash, they're attacking, here.

I kick one of the fallen ODST's rifles over to her

=Ash picks it up a prepares to fire=
Just tell me who to shoot and their gone

I grin at her

Well it ain't me, and it ain't Dormii. So who else could it be that's firing at us right now?

I wince as a bullet nicks the cover i'm crouched behind. I sprint forward and pull Dormii back around the corner

=Ash jumps out of cover and sprays the odst with fire=
How many are there?

I yell over the gunfire

No idea, look i need to go check something. I got a real bad feeling, you and Dormii take care of these.

What?!

=Ash looks at Dormii=
I don't feel comfortably being left alone..

=Ash see's another odst move out of cover=
I see you!

=She aims her gun at him=
Dam I can't... I don't want to kill any more... its different when they are shooting at us.

=Ash lowers her gun and lets him run away=

I watch her struggle for a moment

Ash, don't worry about Dormii. He'll behave.

And if you don't kill them, they will kill you, and then they will kill Draco.

Jay's right but isn't there another way its always war.
=Ash watches the other odst move in and out of cover as they pull back.=

=Ash fires blindly hoping it didn't hit anyone just scared them.=

I look at Ash with pity.

I'll be back soon, i promise.

I turn and sprint off

=An odst fires on Ash, she jumps back into cover.=
Dam what do I do? Just let them kill us.

=Ash sighs and aims her gun at the man=
I'm sorry..

=she fires the noise of gun fire rings in her ears as the man drops to the floor.=

(The sound of gunfire shakes him from his dream)
(He laughs)
(to himself)
I haven't dreamed.
Not in my entire life had I dreamed.
(he sits up)
(He looks into his hands and sees her dog tags, he remembered grabbing them just before Dormii carried him out)
(He raised them to his mouth and kissed them)
I love her
(he looks over at the table, on it the broken M99)
Guess Ill have to repair that.
(sighs)

=Ash fires one more time in till all the odst leave=
Looks like their all gone.. I'm going to secure the rest of the ship you find Jay

(Going afk)

(He gets out of the medical bed)
(Hears one last shot)
(He puts on his armor, and his helmet)
(He looks down at his left wrist, ASH was written on it)
(He grabs his Angel Maker, and Hydra)
(He leaves the room)

=As Delta and his squad are moving about the ship, he hears gunfin the distance. he brings up a report on his HUD and sees it is the boarding craft of another ship=

[Delta]=over comms to team= Looks like we got ourselves a cover. Move on.

=The team continues with their mission=

=I awoke from another slumber, I was confused to see not all the ODST's are on board when I walked to the mess hall=

Me: Where are the rest of the troopers?

Crewman: They when on that ship we got you off of.

Crewman: It was for your own good.

=Delta and his team come trough a door and find the negine room. They quickly plant the explosives and make their escape. they Comm to Team II to see if they have disabled the Life Support Systems=

[Delta] Team II come in. Have you completed your objective?

[Soldier] Yes sir. We ran into some complications however. We had to set up for a remote detonation.

[Delta]=sighs= Wa had the same problem. Oh well. Get back to your pods. Make Damn sure that everyone is accounted for.

=They return to their pods and take a head count. Everyone is present. A flawless Op. They detach their craft and return to the Comet to trigger the explosives and move on to their next mission=

Look I have been though awful stuff am sure you have as well, but as a Spartan that always comes last. Listen to me soldier there are life's that depend on us so get set we have to go!

[Delta] Prepare to activate the cgarges on the engines. Now.

=The soldeir uses his Tacpad to activate the charges planted on the engines=

[Delta] Now the Life Support. This promises to be interesting.

=The soldier again activates the charges on his Tacpad, but this time nothing happens=

[Delta] What is going on?

[Soldier] I dont know sir. The charges seem to have failed.

[Delta] God dammit. Well then We'll have to find some alternative method.
