Chapter 2: Judgement part 2

=Frowning I hand the gun to Jay=

Me: Well, do you have anything else around here I can use.. like a blunt object.

Against Zayne? It's be useless. You'd be best if you had no weapons.

(His eyes begin to flicker back and forth from white to red)
(He runs off to his room)
(he locks the door)
I just want it to stop.

Me: What is this Zayne thing you speak of?

=Picking up a fire extinguisher and examining it=

I sigh

Put it down. Zayne is Draco's split personality. it's slightly more darker and murderous.

Me: Oh.. I wouldn't doubt you.. are you sure there is nothing we can use?

Get out, get out.
(The room begins to blur)
(darkness begins to take over)
(He sees a figure)
(He unlocks the door and follows it back to Jays room)
Zayne.
ZAYNE!
(He enters the darkness)
ZAYNE!

Nothing. Your only chance would be me. If i wasn't so badly maimed.

YOU HURT HER!
YOU ALMOST KILLED HER!
STOP RUNNING!

Me: Well it is better than nothing.. no offense.
Do you need any medical attention before we probably die, or do you not trust me with that job anymore?

Im holding up as best i can right now. He won't kill us if we are unarmed.

(He sees the figure go into Jay's room)
(he bangs on the closed door)
ZAYNE!
GET OUT HERE AND FIGHT ME!
(The colors blur)
(darkness surrounds him)
ZAYNE!

=I thought snapped into my mind=

Me: Dormii is still out there.. I will be right back

=I hear the door pound and freeze.=

Me: When this crazy goes away, I will go get him.

I give Snow a look of disgust

I'll go myself.

I stand up and walk outside the room, searching for Dormii

(He grabs his Hydra and loads it)
FIGHT ME!
(The door opens and Jay is in the way of the three barrels)

I look at Draco/Zayne and sigh.

Go ahead kill me if you have too but i will not fight you. Draco if you can hear me, you can beat him. Just think of Ash. She needs you right now. But you can't help her until you've fixed yourself.

=I grab Jay's arm and pull her back into the room=

Me: Are you crazy?! Stay here!

=I save Jay from being a bloody pulp=

(He lowers the gun)
(He falls to the ground)
(the figure comes closer to him)
(The darkness leaves)
(He blacks out)
(A voice rings from his past)
(within)
"Do I always have to come save you"
"Yeah, I guess you do"

=The commotion has calmed down and I peer outside=
=I see Draco lying on the floor=

Me: =kicking his armoured arm= You alright bud..

Me: =yelling= Can I get some help here!

=I confiscate his weapons and throw them in the room with Jay=

Me: Merry Christmas.

I gather up the weapons and store them away, hidden from everyone but me.

Thanks i guess.

=I jog down the hall looking for any help in carrying the juggernauts body=

Me: Anyone want to help me with this body!

I yell after Snow

Don't forget Dormii!!

=Oh damnit=

=I dash to the rec room and realize Dormii up against the wall=

Me: Well, look what you got yourself into

=I start dragging Dormii across the floor=

Me: You need to lose some weight.

I comm Snow

Try taking the armour off first. They'll weigh a lot less

=I hear Jay in Dormii's helmet and take it off and put it on to my head=

Me: That is a good idea, can you get working on Draco's?

=I start to unlatch Dormii's armour.=

I comm back

Hello? Injured here? Can't exactly help in any way than advising you

Me: Well, just keep a gun pointed at him..

=I finish with Dormii's armour and drag him down the hall=

I keep my pistol pointed at Draco's limp form

Any better without the armour???

=Dragging him Dormii down the hallway=

Me: Well I do admit it was a good idea

=I pull him into Jay's room and toss his helmet on the bed=

Me: I will get working on Draco

I pull Dormii up onto the bed and wrap a set of bandages around his wound.

Look Snow, im sorry if i've been a bit harsh with you recently.

I need to get rest.

I lock the door and lie down on the bed next to Dormii

=I hear the comment, but do not mind it=
=The scrap of Draco's armour is lying on the ground=

Me: Not so tough now, huh?

=I drag Draco's body into a jail cell and lock it. I leave the cell area, leaving the key on the hook outside the door.=

=I proceed to the rec room and sit down against the wall and slowly drift to sleep=

=i groan softly= Oww. I really hate that damn thing. Z- =i look around= -nevermind then.

=i see my helmet= Where the hell is the rest of my armor?

=i get up, go outside and collect my armor= It better all be there...good. Wait, helmet is....Jay's room, duh. I looked at it before I left.

=i take me armor back to my quarters and set them on the stand. I go back to Jay's and write a note, then put the blanket a little further on her. I leave and go back to my room, thought about Jay spinning madly in my head. I lie on the bed thinking of her, of what almost happened, and what did happen=

= the doctor is sleeping=

ONI onboard VI (not sophia) - slipspace rupture detected

=the covenant ships silently send out boarding pods=

ONI onboard VI- boarding pods inbound

=the doctor is still sleeping=

ONI on board VI- Pods have latched onto the cargo bay

Sophia- Nikolaus! wake up the covenant are board our ship!

=the doctor grumbles and slowly gets out of bed.=

Niko- what? what's going on?

Sophia- we're being boarded by the covenant

Niko- the coven- oh shit! that means.... dammit ONI!

Sophia- the demolition a while back...

Niko- freakin' spartan didn't destroy EVERYTHING only what she saw....

=the doctor gathers his gear and things=

niko- sophia direct me to the escape pods!

=a spec-ops elite comes out from camouflage, the doctor stops in his tracks=
niko- wait, i'm not finished yet! let me get some more things!

=the elite grabs the doctor and procedes to drag him to the cargo bay, where teams of elites are awaiting the super-carrier to take the ship into one of it's docks.=

Niko- Sophia? can you still here me? ..... Sophia?

=there is no answer, the doctor is led to the cargo bay with only his armour case, and silence ensues=

(I lay on my bunk)

I really and honestly left my ODSTs without saying a formal goodbye or anything of the sort. Then again, it was probably for the best. They still wouldn't have understood why I did what I did.

(I check my helmet and find a message)

If you're reading this, Sarge, its probably because we read the note and a recent UNSC dispatch. We don't care if you deserted or just up and left.

We respect you because you knew how the average ODSTs like us felt, even though you're part of the old school, Sarge. We all respected that, and the new commander doesn't really get the complaints of the grunts like us.

Anyway,Sarge, just hope you know what the hell you're doin' out there, without jumping into hell with guys like us. No matter your status, you'll always wear the broadswords and always be our Sarge.

Man: So Miss’s Cole, you went missing for approximant fifty-four hours. You claim you were kidnaped by your targets after they killed Major 1st class Leroy Mcgraw, you said ‘’you got back by escaping and hijacking a Pelican’’ is this true?

=The Man pulls out a picture of Macgraws dead body=
Man: We found him at the so called ‘’Fight scene’’ he was killed with a knife though the eye, Is this the man that you went to find the others with?

=He holds out the picture, Ash nods=

=The Man interrupts Ash=
Man: Please Ashlie I read the file I don’t need to hear it again, I’m here to ask you questions about the ‘’fight’ ’do you understand?

Man: The knife used to kill Macgraw is the same design as the one you yourself carry, and even though you say you were ‘’captured’’ you still won’t tell us where they took you? Why? It doesn’t add up Ashile?

=Ash became very nervous=
I just came here to get help I told you about what happened… Why are you accusing me of this?

=The Man stood up=
Man: I don’t believe you! Why won’t you tell us where they took you? Those people are believed to be working with the insurrection and are a danger to us all! We know your unstable how do we know it wasn’t a repeat of what happened on Eridanus II? What if you ‘’flashed back’’ and killed Macgraw? Then you ran off made it seem as if you where kidnaped then came back here? Why should I believe you Ashlie?

=The Man sat back down, Ash's tone changed=

Man: Then tell us where they took you?

=Ash says nothing. The man stands up=
Man: Ashile Cole you are being arrested on the suspicion of the Murder of Leroy Macgraw and possible cooperation with the insurgents.

What?! No I didn’t do anything?!

=The man walks out the room=
You can’t just leave me in here! Come back! I didn’t do anything!

=The man looks at an Oni officer=

Man: Take her to the cells, I don’t want her seeing anyone till I say. We need to show these Spartans where they stand we can’t just have them going rouge, get me Torres on the phone I want to talk to him again. I don’t want these Spartans doing anything stupid, he must know something.

=I awake from my deep slumber, still tired=
=I pick myself up and go to sit down at a table with playing cards on it=

=I unravel the cards and begin to shuffle them=

(He flashes back)
(He feels pain in his left arm)

Lynn-Do I always have to save you?

Draco-Yeah, I guess you do

(He stands up and looks over, the corpse of the rebel soldier staring at him. His eyes staring into a void of nothingness)

Draco-Thanks

Draco-Okay, mission status

Lynn-For us complete. Matthew is lying in wait with transport. Jon and Grace are currently held down in a bunker.

Draco-Right

(They head off to the bunker. Gunfire is heard and grenades explode)
(They manage to get to the bunker)

Draco-Jon give me a sit-rep

Jon-The informant is in the back of the bunker. I have the information.

Grace(stops shooting)-Um. Sir.

(The wooded area that surrounds them begins to shake. Trees begin to fall. A Modified Scorpion crashes through)

Draco-Aww

Lynn-Course of action sir

Draco(smiles)-Matthew, Detonate this thing

Matthew-Yes sir. (He brings out a detonator and presses the button)

(The ground is ripped apart. The Scorpion explodes and sends shrapnel flying into the rebel forces)

Draco-Grace, get the informant. Make sure he is safe

Grace-Right

Draco-Lynn, Jon lets go. Matthew I want transport her now. Red smoke is the signal

(They exit the bunker, Draco pops a flare. The smoke reaches up to the sky and blots the sun)

(Present)
Another mission successful.
(He opens his eyes and looks around)

(He looks up. outside of the cell Zeru stands)

I finish getting dressed ad open the door.

I sigh and go back into the room, gathering up Draco's stuff. I half-throw his armour out the door at him before walking back into my place at the door.

Any idea where Dormii is?

(His armor flies past him)

=Ash is pushed into a padded cell all of her weapons and armour have been taken=

No clue where they are, you think Snow would give me them in my condition?
