=i jump off the ramp after a running start to try and minimize horizontal momentum. Hawk followed me, doing the same thing. We hit the ground a moment later, our locked armor saving us from most of the impact=

We come up on the second drop zone and Delta lines up the same way Echo did. The motions repeat and they jump out, hitting their drop perfectly.

Alright, Whisper, stand on the ramp and look for a good place to settle this baby down.

there's a clearing near the objective but seems too easy there's one farther and more likely safe

I stood up from my impact. "Squad! FORM UP!"

Hmm. I see it. Seems a good place for an ambush, knowing we wouldn't choose the one close to the objective.

I scour the landscape for a little while but see nothing else.

Alright. Whisper, take Trident and drop down. I'll somewhere to land this further out and meet back up with you. Drop on your mark.

=I got up, with Hawk, and made our way over to Aegir. I checked my gear, and found nothing to be out of place. The shaking was still going on, but I was ignoring it=

"We're heading to a UNSC base outside of Oversight. We are to gather intelligence on what they know about the enemy, if anything. Officially were here to support the troops against the enemy, whatever it may be." I signaled for the Squad to fall in behind me and move out.

=As I'd climbed down the tree, I'd ended up pulling some branches off and parts of my armour getting covered in leaves.=

=I got no reply... So I guessed that it meant Radio Silence was in order. Even though, we hadn't seen any hostiles yet... And I was hoping it was going to stay that way...=

=I looked around a couple more times, but still no sight of Sparrow. That was until I turned around to talk to Whisper, and I noticed one of the bushes looked... Uh... Scruffier than the others... It was probably just some sort of animal living in there but whatever it was... I brought up my DMR and aimed at it.=

If anyone's in there... Uh... Could you get out? Just because... I don't want to end up shooting you.

I crawl out of the bush and stand up

Good observation. But really? I don't want to shoot you? I'm sure enemy ambushers would love to hear that Trident

I make the spartan smile gesture across my visor

For all I know, it could've been a bomb in the bush. And if I'd shot it... Just taking precautions. But I'll shoot first next time then, okay?

I relay the co-ordinates of our objective onto their HUDs..

There. And then after that? I don't know. To be honest, the mission is a little vague. Gather intel on whatever else is on this planet....

It can't be that hard right? Just go around writing details down about everything. Sounds easy.

I wave at Shroud in acceptance as I look at the surrounding area for a good nest. Heh a hacker and a one soldier going to protect the VIP... Great team variation.

SO!..Sir where do we head off to. Do we stick together or split?

I look at the surrounding vegetation wondering how nice of a vacation this would be.

I sit down on a nearby rock and ponder on what our VIP will look like and if I would hate him.

I know sir, but I just can't trust them. I don't know why.

"Rubble, don't let it interfere with the mission." I said sternly.

Hawk, Rubble, and Aegir make their way towards the UNSC encampment. It was a long trek from the drop zone to the first objective marker. They would traverse several kilometers before reaching the encampment.

Aegir: "Right, brisk jog, on me!" H gave the order and started to jog.

=I turn back around to Black Burn=

I dont remember giving the order to stop moving.

=I turn back forward with Shield and Markov behind me=
=We continue walking=

I follow close behind on Shrouds tail.

=i jog after Aegir, Hawk following. I kept an eye out for anyone who might be waiting in ambush, but I didn't see anything. That didn't mean no one was there, it just meant that they were better than I in terms of stealth. The shaking continued, like usual, but it didn't interfere with my jog at all=

=As they move closer to the objective, Shield glances at his rifle, making sure that a full mag was loaded, and the 'burner' as he called it, was also full. He kept his eyes front, but made mental notes of the environment, in case anything went down. He stayed silent=

We need to move. Come on, eyes peeled.

We spread out a little and begin to jog through the forest towards the marker.

=I looked around. Hearing nature=

Would be a great place for a snooze

=I sigh=

What a drag...

=We continue on out=

Stay frosty.
Enemies may pop out of nowhere.

=I begin jogging, following Sparrow. I check behind me to see if Whisper was following, which he was.=

What are we susposed to be looking for, exactly?
