It felt good to be back in my armour. I checked my H.U.D for any updates.

When he freed me, he was going to kill me. With the full intent on doing so too. Reckoned i'd been in for too long. Gone mad or turned traitor. Bastard.

I almost fall back into the memory as i'm talking, but then i realise who it is to and shut my mouth.

With all due respect, ma'am, I highly doubt that. Aegir wasn't one for killing prisoners. Not as far as I'm aware.

We arrive at the armoury and i go in, noticing Aegir stood there. I throw him another look and begin to suit up.

I stretched myself in my armour, making sure all the joints weren't stiff. It was fine. I checked my files, and found a picture of Sparrow when I found her in the Covenant holding cell. A memory filled with anger and rage came to mind, and I shook my head, I had nearly lost control that day. I wasn't even supposed to be on that mission, it had been an unauthorized mission given to me to complete alone by my squad leader at the time. I ended up have to leave him behind to die on that same ship. He deserved a lot worse, mark my words. I kept that picture to remind myself of what a bad leader could lead to. We were supposed to have rescued her three months before, but we didn't because the Squad leader at the time decided it wasn't necessary, the bastard.

I sighed, and looked around the Armoury, on my HUD, the leader of Delta Squad showed up.

"So you're the leader of Delta Squad, Shroud, was it?"

=I begin to memorize the face of the V.I.P. that my team and I are to protect=

I take my battle rifle out of the weapons locker and a pistol. I check it and grab some ammo from the bins. I packed the ammo in my ammo pouches.
