Chapter 3-A: Calm before the Storm Part 2

=I go to the medbay and I collapse=

=i walk into the medbay and pick Snow up. i put him on a bed and put a blanket on him. i write a note for him when he wakes up=

=i leave, dimming the lights and taking the pistol as i go. I stow the pistol in the armory, and head to my room. I put the armor away and make a splint for my arm, securing it in several layers of plaster, tape, and glue. i do leave a spot to cut/rip it open, should the need arise, for whatever reason. i head to Jay's room, and see that she is sound asleep. i give her a kiss on her forehead and go back to my room. i go to the exercise room and try some new grapples and throws on the practice dummies. i try to focus only on what happens to the dummy, affraid of what i might do if i think for too long=

=I roll in my sleep and I fell off the bed=

Me: ..Fuck..

=I see what Dormii has done, I crawl back into bed and fall asleep=

=I continue practicing, beating the crap out of a training dummy, for no paricular reason, other than because I need something to do. I catch a glimpse of someone standing in the doorway. I smile as I continue training, but a song creeps up on me and starts playing my head=

=Ash walks into Draco's room and see's him sitting on the bed=
Hey... I thought we weren't going to make it out of there...

=She sits down next to him=
Are you O'k? I know it wasn't easy for you seeing Macgraw again...

How do you know...? He found the others, were all targets now. The longer we run the stronger and bigger their going to get... There not just going to give up like that..

=She sees his eyes fading to white, she pulls away=

=I fall off the bed once more=

Me: God damnit!

=I get up and read Dormii's note, I rip it up and continue to the scorched Mess Hall=

(He can feel it)

=She sits on the other side of the bed=
Why... I've never met Zayne.. But he's always there, watching.. that was to close, what if her came out...?

=She leans over and kisses Draco on the forehead, she moves her hand across his face=

=i sweep the dummy over and kick it in the kidneys as it falls. I stand it up. I grab it's head and use it as a pivot point to spin and grab onto its back. i pull it backwards, causing the head to hit the ground next to my shoulder. I stand it up=

Oh? and how would you criticize those? I've never seen those in the UNSC training handbooks.

Because they aren't in there. Wouldn't work in a real fight though.

Elites possibly. But any Spartan would easily counter those.

I wasn't trained to fight Spartans. Only covenant. =i hang my head, the song coming back= Might be why they stick with me.

Doesn't hurt to learn to fight Spartans. Especially if we're going to be hated rebels and all that jazz.

=i stand up, slide at her legs, and hook them with my own. i twist, knocking her legs out from under her. As she falls, i extend my arm, arresting her fall, and throw her into a standing position=

I smile at him and somersault over his head, grabbing his free arm and twisting it up behind his back forcing him down to his knees.

Yes, actually. You can be kinda scary when you fight.
