Chapter 3-A: Calm before the Storm Part 2

David silently waves to Dormii, shrugging. He didn't want to interrupt or get involved in the argument, so he decided to wait it out.

=i bang my crutch against the floor, making a loud bang and snapping it in half= Tell. Me. What is going on?

=i glare at him= I'm making it concern me. =i look at them both= What is it?

You don't know!? I've been though it... They value you as nothing but a weapon then.. When your no more use to them your dropped... your whole life is just forgotten.. You really feel that way about what you did...?! It isn't about you or me.. Its about her, and what happened.. She will never live a normal life and all you can do is wave it off?!

=She looks over at Dormii=
Its nothing I'm done here

=She walks out the room=

=i get up and walk after Ash, my leg giving me problems as I do so, but I ignore them. I catch up to her= What happened? I can help.

(He opens his eyes)
(He smiles and gets up)
(He walks out the door of his room)

(He heads to the cafeteria)
(He stops when he sees Ash and Dormii)

=finishes and heads to the bridge to go over any usefull data he can find=

=She looks at Dormii and Draco=
I'm sorry I shouldn't of said anything... I was talking about Grace to Zeru..

=i lean against the wall, keeping weight off of my leg= And....? What about her and Zeru?

I don't know.. I last saw him in the mess hall, but I think he left...

=i stand up, leaning on my good leg= Don't tell me you are about to go get him, Draco.

=comm to dormi= i'm going over the old nav data it's starting to form a pattern

David looks around, now alone at the table. He sighs and decides to follow the others out into the hallway, standing next to Dormii and just listening.

(He notices the new guy)

=leaves the bridge after going over the nav data he passes by the cafeteria on his way to the rec room=

=Ash looks over to David=
I forgot to introduce myself... little late now

=She looks back at Draco=

(He sees Zeru)
(Rage taking him over)

David shakes Draco's hand, with a surprisingly strong grip and a smirk on his face, "David. Nice to meet you."

He lookds over to Ash, nodding with the same smirk.

=i tensed as Zeru passed, but Draco held his own. i sigh with a smile on my face= Well, at least one person knows who he is. You, Draco, are not a mindless killing machine, driven by rage and anger.

=Ash grabs Draco's hand and brings it close to her=
Its ok... We don't have to stay here...?

=starts practicing on a punching bag trying to relave some physical stress building up=

to him self out loud why can't these people realize there's more then just one story to this situation

(He looks down)

=She pulls him into the Mess Hall=

"Guys, I'm going to go to the rec-room, if you don't mind?" David smiles, dismissing himself and walking over to the recreation room, noticing Zeru on the punching bag, he goes up to him, as if waiting for his turn on it. "Hiya." He smirks warmly in an attempt to break the ice. "So, what was up with that in there?"

=i begin to walk back to the hanger, to go back to the frigate. My bad leg was making it difficult to walk, but I managed to make it, barely. I end up just sitting in the Dream for a while, beginning the argument about who i am again=

(He lets her drag him into the mess hall)
(He grabs a plate and begins to eat)

David's right hand twitched, reliving the countless times he'd used his combat knife. He was sent back into a flashback sequence for a second. He was inside a rebel base, no one had noticed him yet, but he was already pulling out his knife. He was snapped back to reality with a blink, and he chuckled in reply to Zeru's advice, "I'll keep that in mind, thanks."

=She smiles as she watches Draco eat=
I'm sorry I shouldn't of talked to Zeru... Its none of my business really..

(He looks up)

=she reaches over and kisses him=
I'm looking forward to getting off of this ship... To tell you the truth I never felt very comfortable on them, even the Thor..


=She looks into his eyes=

=i punch the console as i argue, simply because of the situation I'm put in. Unfortunately, I hit the thruster button, causing the Dream to lift off of the floor and crash into things. I'm thrown out of the cockpit, onto the top of a nearby longsword= Ow, bad idea.

=i can imagine the sound of the incident echoing through the ship. I begin to tear up because I honestly don't know what to do. Everything that I know about myself might be wrong, my past might be even worse then I think=

(He stands and hugs her)

=hears a loud noice coming from the hangar so he goes to check it out= dormi u ok what happened?

Nothing. My damn life might be a lie is all.

=She hugs him back=
I hope we can leave soon...

=She kisses him again and wraps her arms around his and begins walking out the hall=
I don't want to ask you if... you don't want to talk about it.. But what happened? Back, in the room? It seemed different?

You don't understand. In my religion, your name defines who you are. It can be any language, but your name is who you are. My name is...was...i don't know. Dormii Fortuni means the Dream of Luck, because I have had nothing but luck in my life, until now. I found out that I was Dormii Mali, the Dream of Evil. I have no idea if that was just some cruel joke played upon me by the gods, or if I was truly evil. Can you understand my dilemma now? Am I evil, because that would define my past, and therefore my future, which I am trying to escape. Am I luck, because that would define my entire life, not just my past or future. I don't know anymore.

Dormii Mali means Dream of Evil. Latin does not lie.

=i put my hands on my head= I don't want to be evil! But what if I am?!
