"Well Zeru. I know you just saved me and everything. But when you have twenty guys all firing at you at once and you're by yourself.
You're pretty much fucked. Especially when the only way to run is deeper into the compound with even more guys.
So yes, the odds are against her if she is caught."
I look over my shoulder for a second. I thought I heard something, probably just nothing.

I sit down and lean against the wall we're hiding behind. No longer caring if I look a bit lazy.
"Those wouldn't matter if there was a lot of gunfire on you. Even if she has her weapons."

"If you're so sure about everything, why don't you go then huh?"
I was already done with this argument before it began, but now. I don't even want to talk any more.

=my camo recharges, and I turn it on to start making my way further into the base when my elbow smacks into the wall. I freeze, and open a comm to the others as a soldier points his weapon into the room looking around=
Guys, I may be in trouble. Standby.

I look over to my right, at.. what was it? Destruction? Whichever. And wait for orders.

I have someone poking his nose where it shouldn't be. If I move, he might see me, but I only have limited cloak. If he doesn't leave soon, we may have to start this party.

Pair, move slowly, and grab your gun. The ripple won't be as noticeable if it's slow. We'll move up and begin the attack. Just don't get killed.

=i motion forward and the three of us begin to crouch walk up towards the building. I turn and motion for Zeru and Alphonse to follow, but low and slow=

I creep closer and match the speed of the soldiers. Being pretty quiet. My rifle ready.

=i slowly reach for my SMG on my hip. I do it smoothly and slowly, trying not to make too much of a noticeable ripple. I was raising it up, pointing it at the soldier's face as he peered directly at me and through me. As I was about to pull the trigger, he sighed and disappeared to continue to wherever it was. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and immediately radioed the others=
Hold, hold. I'm fine. Stay out of sight. I can get us more information.

=i stop instantly and get behind some equipment. I motion for the others to do the same, which the ones in my squad do=
Everyone stop. Pair's clear. We keep waiting.

I stop behind everyone and look ahead, trying to see where we were going. But noticing a man walk past us, completely oblivious to us.

Sanity. You're up. Take him out.

=i extend my climbing claws and crouch walk up behind the soldier. He turns at the last second, right as I reach out to him and slide my claws along his chest and neck, ripping his clothes and skin apart. I keep swiping, tearing him apart before he can scream. Once he's down, I retract the claws back into my palms, and drag his body over=
Aaaand done. Let's make this quick, he may be missed.

Pair, hurry. We just had to take out a sentry.

"Understood. I'll get up to the third floor, then let's start the assault."

"Yeah. I'm not seeing any heavy weapons at all."

"That was some quick work there, very impressive. Seeing as how those are climbing tools."

I stand up from my crouched position and look around. Finding another man walking around the corner.
He notices us, the dead man and attempts to run. That's when I fire twice at his legs and once at his chest. Dropping him.

=i jabbed my needles into their necks as they turned to look out t the sound of gunshots. I pumped some poison into them, causing their muscles to spasm and seize. They fell twitching, and I took cover behind a small crate, hiding from immediate view=

=punch my arm forward and trigger a dispenser. Two mini grenades detached and flew forward, blowing some holes in the walls closest to them, as well as knocked another soldier off his feet=

I move forward with Zeru, killing a couple more men with him.

=uses up his clip and starts to reload while avoiding fire=

I turn over to where Zeru is and start shooting at the Innies shooting at him.

=i run forward, rushing into the building. I backhand one of them with my shield, knocking him over. I crouched down and fired into his chest with my SMG. I turn, keeping the shield raised, and start shooting at other soldiers=

=i draw my side arm and run at the wall, running up slightly before extending my claws to keep climbing up. I hit a window, and start shooting into it, aiming for soldiers moving towards the stairs=

=gets done reloading and fires a shot killing an innie as he was about to fire and starts pushing forward more agressively=

I stand there, firing my rifle at the enemy soldiers. Completely ignoring to take cover, making my shields spike every once in awhile.
I hit pretty much every target I set my sights on though, so it wasn't too bad.

=i move forward, vaulting over the cover I hid behind, and shed my camo as I came over. I shouted, letting my voice modulator work on altering my voice. I quickly drew my SMG and started firing, ripping into the soldiers who remained where they were=

=i started to draw fire, and I did my best to keep the riot shield between me and whoever as shooting. I returned fire, using the firing port as much as possible=

I take steps foward slowly, gaining ground. But abrupting ending after my clip runs dry, forcing me to cover so that I can reload.

=i had grabbed my battle rifle as I stepped into the casino. I fired at one soldier, the three round burst hitting him in the stomach, chest, and shoulder. He falls, and I see a cluster of enemies coming from behind where he was. I swing my arm like a right hook and send a grenade at them, shredding them with shrapnel as it explodes=

I run from that wall to another and take cover. Recharging my shields...

=fire 3 shots of his gun,one shot hits an innies throat and he goes down clutching it while the other 2 round hit another in the chest who drops and falls to the ground dead=

=It was an hour or two, since Jason had left with Alpha Team aboard the Hyperion. So far, no word, but I wasn't really worried. I was more worried though, about a report one of my agents sent me. They were based in the city state of Osea, investigating rumors of gatherings. Nothing major enough to draw the attention of security details, or security monitors, but apparently the rumor was that a few sympathizers for the rebels were reaching out to civilians, even planning to infiltrate the Security Forces of the city. My agent was there, blending in with civilians, in the hopes that they'd be able to find the sympathizers=

Hopefully she's up to the task. She's shown great promise lately.

==Planet Xenos==

=Things had been going quite well over the past month or so on Xenos. Most of the construction projects were now complete, the flood of new recruits to the Armada were beginning Basic Training, and the people as a whole had remained relatively un-harassed. There was no denying that this was a very good thing, but still something had Delta on edge recently. His whole life had been spent fighting, and now, for the first time in centuries, he felt... Lost. Without a purpose. As if he had fulfilled his duty and was no longer needed. But that wasn't what was bugging him. He felt almost paranoid, feeling that something lie just over the horizon, just out of view...=

=i climbing up higher, ambushing soldiers on their way down towards the others. When my pistol ran dry, I put it away, and then vaulted through the window, my arm shields flickering on as my feet hit the ground. I jumped at a soldier, my climbing claws still out. I tore into them, tearing through armor and flesh. I went into my inner sanctum, so to speak. My "happy place," as all this death and pain came out of me and into others. I blocked it all out. It was just happening, it wasn't me, it was just something that looked like me=

=reloads his dmr and a rebel attempt's to strike but is a second to late and hits the rebel in the side of the head with the dmr=

I move from cover to cover, avoiding fire whenever possible. Their suppressed guns aren't able to completely take out my shields before I move.
Which isn't good because I move every five seconds. It's like they're targeting me... at least I think so. My shields drop again with a pop.
Watch it watch it watch it watch it!
I turn away from the small destroyed wall and start running. Then start firing again, hitting three other soldiers also shooting.
Then I duck behind a crate of some sort, letting my shields recharge.

=as more soldiers came down, more of them were killed. They all died from either my SMG or my poison. Soon, however, their numbers ended. There were non left. I could still hear some shooting, but none were on my level. I went up, hoping to help Deniv=

=down here, the number of bodies grew, and the amount of return fire dwindled. Soon, no one was firing back. I called out=

"J-Just me! Don't shoot! I surrender!"

=a gun and two arms appeared from behind a generator. One of the arms put the gun down and slid it away before standing up. I pointed my wrist at him=
Who are you?

"Mark Nesinim."

Well, Mark. We have some questions. Do you think you can answer them?

"I was communications for this outpost. I was told their wouldn't be any violence, just relays."

Don't worry, if you don't give us any trouble, then there wont be any more violence.

=he looked to be about 16, maybe 17. He was certainly young, and skinny. Very skinny, like he hadn't eaten very much over the last few days=

=i tore out the throat of the last soldier, blood splashing up onto my armor and then leaking out onto the ground. I came back to myself, and retracted my claws, trying not to think about all that death. Simile came up, SMG raised=
"Good work. You okay?"

Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Let's go check on the others.

I stand up from the crate, what's left of it anyway. And made my way over to the stairs. Noticing my health is down a bit, along with my armour.
Two soldiers and a Spartan down here and the other two soldiers up here, along with me. Makes sense I guess.
I climb the stairs easily and walk around a bit. Finding the others.
"Are you both still able to fight? Do you need medical?"

=Deniv and I turn to look at the others=
We're fine. Thank you. You hurt?

=i turn off my arm shields, taking away the glow that they gave. I checked everyone's health, and while we were on an adrenaline surge and couldn't feel much pain, after it wore off I knew we would all be hurting. We had all taken some hits, the health meters on our HUDs said we were at about 50%=

"Do we have a choice?"

No. But we should take everything he says with a grain of salt.

"I was going to to do that anyway."

"I'm fine."
I turn around and go back downstairs, my gun lowered. Then I find the other two soldiers.
Thinking that I should've asked these guys first before going upstairs.
"You okay? Do you need medical?"

Then I look at the teenager, wondering.
"They told you to fight? And you're a communications operator?"
That seems a little strange, using personal as soldiers.

=i looked at the surrendering person, who then looks at Alphonse=
"Y-yes. Once the explosions started they knew they needed everyone who could hold a gun to fight. S-so they dragged me into this. I was just here for the c-communications from our operatives, no-nothing more. I've never used a gun until today."

=Simile and I come down to the others, following Zeru and Alphonse. We saw the surrendering individual. I walked over to the others=
Prisoner?

"For now."

"I'm guessing this half-built structure isn't the real compound? Just a diversion. Obviously."
I look around the room for no reason really. Maybe for an ambush or another soldier or something.
"It's probably underground. And the way down there is in here somewhere. Getting to my point."
I point my two index fingers at the young man, a habit of mine. Also fighting back a yawn, another habit.
"He could show us the way."

I turn to him, trying not to be the towering war machine that I am.
"Would you kindly show us?"
