This is an interesting development indeed...

The storage center started making whooshing noises, and he knew it was working now. Hopefully. He finally closed the valve and stayed their for a few more seconds, before reconnecting the pump to the filter, which then transferred the energy to fuel, the liquid again, and then it went to the engines, and powered them. It was not making any spitting noises, so he knew that it was a success. He stayed there just a while longer, ensuring everything was in working order. It was, he packed up there and turned around, heading back to the main deck. He slowly walked up the ladders, before opening the hatch and closing it again.

He looked around and saw F'alas accompanying Paarthurnax, as well as Torix and Quna. He proceeded to the cabin.

He strolled back into the cabin with a smile on his face, with his helmet attached to his waist belt, very securely. The Phantom was surprisingly stable. He sat back in his seat and reconnected his controls. The Zealot looked over.

"Fantastic job brother, a promotion is in need."

"You know?"

The Zealot nodded and laughed slightly.

"Look at the gauge, it is near enough full."

"Thank you Zealot, however a promotion will not be necessary."

"Oh trust me, it is. You have very well saved lives today, a grand job."

S bi then turned and focused on his controls, trying to keep the tempting smile off of his face. He knew not of anyone's location, and he knew not if the tank would still take them to Athena'a Province, it being a long way away.

"Try and contact the humans again, our situation has not changed drastically."

"Yes Zealot. Commander Aegir, this is S bi 'Ilbulee, come in over."

=we draw our weapons again and follow the person. We stay close to each other, more out of fear that this was all still an illusion than anything else=

The Zealot glanced over, and raised his hand.

"Was that their Commander?"

"Yes, however he mentioned that the signal was not that good."

"Okay, get what you can, we need to get them out of there."

"Affirmative."

S bi again flicked some switches and checked that the Phantom was performing at optimal capacity. Before looking back into the deck.

"F'alas, Torix look alive. We will be touching down soon."

The Zealot looked over to S bi once again.

"You will need to be careful when we touch down, there might be a lot of Insurgents."

"I understand Zealot."

"Good. Increase thrusters to fifty percent, we have enough fuel."

"As you wish."

S bi pressed the levers forward and watched as the Phantom increased in speed. He checked to see if everything was in check before doing anything else, it was. He relaxed, whilst he waited for the human Commander to respond.

F'alas heard the commander tell him and Torix to stay sharp, and he waited for what was to happen.

S bi shook his head and looked to the Zealot.

"I didn't get a response from them Zealot."

"Keep trying S bi."

"Yes Zealot. Commander Aegir, we need your coordinates, over."

S bi opened up his computer console and tried to manually find their position, this was most unsuccessful however.

"We will raise them soon enough brother. Tell me, who is left of our teams?"

"I will upload them to our HUD's."

The Zealot nodded.

F'alas decided to speak up. "Brother, i think we're not going to make it." F'alas said, hoping that they will get a response. He anxiously moved up and down, scared and trying to hide the look. He knew Sangheili didn't want scared individuals. He heard what Thel did when some of his crew abandoned him when a Psalm Every Day attacked.

S bi turned to the Zealot.

"We have contact, patching coordinates through to central console, imminent transmission feed."

They watched as the coordinates spewed up on their heads up display, through the central console.

"What do you know, we aren't too far away. Go prepare the warriors."

"Yes Zealot."

S bi disengaged his controls and walked into the main deck.

"Warriors, prepare yourselves. We shall be landing soon, we have made contact and have their coordinates. You are to make sure, everyone gets back alive."

"Yes Operative."

Torix got up and nodded, as did Quna. They grabbed their weapons and got ready at either side of the Phantom. He looked to F'alas and nodded. He then walked back into the cockpit and grabbed his Plasma Repeater, as the Zealot looked at him.

"I want you to watch their back, S bi."

"I will do so Commander, or die trying."

"That is good to hear."

S bi sat back down and helped the Zealot reach the rendezvous point, where ever it was.

"Increase thrusters to one hundred percent."

"Zealot, are you sure, what of our fuel tank?"

"We have enough."

S bi nodded and gulped hard, before ramming the lever forward and watched as the Phantom shot forward, he and the Zealot were pinned back into their seats and he heard the others smack against the back of the Phantom. Well, this speed wasn't meant to be used on a planet's surface.

F'alas saw S bi nod and knew it was time. He grabbed his Focus Rifle and primed it, making sure it was okay. He stood near the Phantom's bay doors, anxious too see what would happen. Of course, if they got there.

=after taking care of the scouting squad rigs the area to explode when they come to investigate it before heading to the pelican with several weapons he took from the enemy's and gets in and intructs the pilot to head back to the province=

S bi looked at the the GPS type machine, and saw that they were a few miles away. They were going at some speed, but had increased in altitude and were ready to drop in at anytime. It was all time now, there was nothing they could do except wait.
S bi looked back to the deck, and saw the warriors preparing and then he saw Paarthurnax who sat their lifelessly.
He disengaged his controls and walked out of the cockpit, entering the main deck. He walked over to Paarthurnax, and sat next to him.

"Are you okay?"

Paarthurnax raised his hand, and nodded but remained silent.

"We'll get you help soon, brother. I assure you of that."

He again nodded, he presumed it pained him to speak. He looked below Paarthurnax and saw a lot of blood, it coated his legs in purple. He shook his head and looked up before patting him on the shoulder and standing up. He turned and returned to the cockpit.

F'alas looked over S bi's shoulder and saw Paarthurnax just nodding. Maybe it hurt to speak, he didn't know. He felt some sadness rise in his throat. Paarthurnax was the only one who treated F'alas with respect in this fleet. Even giving him a rank on his squad. He got anger ready too, as he knew there could be conflict at any moment.

S bi looked to the monitor. He then looked back to the deck.

"Five minutes."

He looked to the Zealot as he returned the look.

"Take care down there, Minor."

"I'll try."

"That will have to do. Remember, they will not be there when we land, you must secure the rendezvous point and hold it until they arrive. Whilst you do that, I'll be refueling this beast."

"Understood."

"No, I'm not sure you do. There can be no faults, everything...everything must go to plan."

"Understood."

The Zealot nodded and looked back to the controls, S bi walked out of the cockpit and into the main deck, grabbing his Plasma Repeater and loading a new round of plasma into it.

F'alas saw S bi walk out of the cockpit and into the main deck. He asked S bi, "What's the plan, brother?"

S bi looked to F'alas before placing his Plasma Repeater on his back.

"We will be touching down soon, and when we do, the four of us will be setting up a perimeter around the Phantom until the humans arrive. Now, I'm not sure whether there will be any resistance down there, so we must be careful."

He stood silent for a few seconds, feeling embarrassed at his terrible answer.

"No-one knows how long the humans will take to reach the Phantom, so, we must hold out as long as we can. For how long we can..."

F'alas nodded to show he understood. He remembered he would be fighting for Paarthurnax. He made sure everything was in order and looked at the warriors. If they survived, he could survive. He braced himself for the landing.

S bi looked around, tensing. He looked out the side of the Phantom and saw it descending on the Gps's said location. He grabbed his Plasma Repeater. He saw that they would be landing in the middle of a street, with houses on either side. Some of the houses had been half demolished and had great places to set up a temporary base.
The road was averagely dusty, with old sandbags placed in places, with barricades. Dust engulfed the Phantom as it lowered with a shaky feel.

"Warriors, look alive!"

He shouted this and the warriors prepared themselves. He tensed further, and waited as it descended.

F'alas jumped out and began searching the area for a good place to start the perimeter. If they had a Plasma Cannon they could make those sandbags worth something. He decided to tell his strategy, "If we have any spare Plasma Cannons, we can make those sandbags a force to be reckoned with. I also recommend one warrior per house, if we can."

S bi looked to F'alas and shook his head at his suggestion.

"Negative, this Phantom's years old, all the Cannons were destroyed years ago."

He span around, scanning the dusty terrain, barely visible. Noticing something to their advantage.

"This is excellent. Look around brothers, from where the Phantom is positioned, there are four sandbags around it, on both sides; parallel sides. They appear to have buildings attached to the sandbags, an excellent advantage. Torix and Quna, get the south side, F'alas and I have got the the North."

He started walking towards his sandbag, before turning back around and checking their position.

"Remember, we must remain here until the humans arrive, also be advised that this is an Insurgent controlled territory, you have permission to fire at will, however watch your fire, we do not want anymore friendlies injured."

He made this absolutely clear before settling down on his bunker. He wasn't sure how long they would have to wait.

"Commander Aegir, this is S bi 'Ilbulee, we have secured a Rendezvous Point, we will hold this position until you arrive, how copy?"

Now to sat and wait, for something that cannot be guaranteed to happen.

F'alas nodded and sat down with his back to a sandbag. He tore open his last ration and gobbled it down. When would those pathetic humans arrive? He heard movement far off. He told S bi, "I think their coming!".
