=i did my best to blend in with the sand and the pod, to try and hide from the air patrols. It was probably not having any effect, on them seeing me, but at least it was something. I mean, how does one hide in a small dip with the only thing around being a pod barely big enough for one person=

"Roger that, Go get him, I'll spot from up here."

=I move over the dune, and try to control my descent down=

=I then feel my wieght shift as I tumble and and hit the pod=

Paarthurnax shook his head it disgust, that someone would challenge his order.

"If you were listening I ordered you to keep thermal optics on, before we entered the cave. The lights I instructed you to put on, would have aided both Lances in seeing what was in front of them. Not everything is picked up via our visors."

He walked on, before stopping and turning to Bunda.

"You ever try to correct me again or go against my orders, I'll have you exiled."

He continued on, with his Katana at hand.

=I look at Wielder=

"Wait...Wait..Wait. Can someone tell me what the fuck we're doing?"

I raise my eyebrows behind my visor. This new squad was going to get on my nerves, especially if they keep not listening.

Look around on your armour for a small catch.

I show them mine after locating it a few moments earlier

Eject the capsule and hand it to Wielder. He will make sure it covers all of your back, back of the helmet, legs and arms. Only the backs remember. Then you lie down in the sand and the sand will stick to you.

I i hand Whisper my capsule and he sets about covering my back in the grease. Once done i show them what i mean. I stand back up and the sand comes with me.

You obviously will repeat the process to Wielder, Neon. We can then proceed as a squad to the objective. If a helicopter patrol comes overhead, all we have to do is lie on our fronts.

I demonstrate to them

From above, we would just look like part of the sand.

"Okay, so, we just rub grease on ourselves?"

This is confusing..

=I look at the Squad Leader=

"Sorry, I never got your name, or whatever. Something to call you.."

(Bunda Darma)
"Fine, Exile me then what? You will lose allies for what? Because they offered a suggestion?"
=I was beginning to get annoyed, it was in my voice.=
"I came on my own will, you are not my superior. "
=I look to my lance watching their reaction.=
"Can't you see we came to help you? Not fight."
=My voice turns soft.=

(Wielder)
"We're not stupid, we know what you meant. "
=I look at her and speak with a questioning tone.=
"As I've asked. What would happen if we do get to the outpost and our suits are useless because of this plan?"

We should have plenty of time. We're going to evenly split Whispers grease so that we all have more time if the suits begin to stiffen up.

I take Whispers vial and pour a quarter into my now empty vial before handing it back. I replace my vial into the slot and push it into place.

Oh and it's Sparrow.

=I look at Sparrow=

"Sparrow, huh? Interesting name."

=I look around, at the sand, the distance, and at my squad=

It's an order Neon. Find your capsule. We're waiting on you.

I take Wielders capsule from his hands and begin spreading it onto his back. Whisper waits for Neon.

=I look at her, then grab my capsule=

"Here you go, sorry.."

=I hand Whisper the capsule=

(Wielder)
"Guess that works."
=I'm not fully convinced but we do what we're told.=
=After shes done I jump of my back and onto my back, covering my backside with sand.=
=I stand back up and await for everyone else's job to get done.=

"It'll be easier to move at the top of this dune, so get back up here."

Once everyone gets done camouflaging themselves we start on our way.
The sun hot as it will ever get and now with the grease on us, its hotter.
A helicopter is heard a little far away, but not close enough to eat the dirt.

(Wielder)
"Oh jeez, its hot."
=I look to the sky then back to our objective.=
"How long does it take for armour to start shutting down?"

In this heat. I'd give us about an hour, and thats with the spare grease we each have. On the positive side, the objectives only about another ten minutes away. You should be able to see it once we get to the top of that rise. The sane will help us sneak closer without being detected.

so 50 minutes max guess we'll havt to make it count

=We then make it to the top of the sand dune=

We're sandy, but we're ready to go, sir.

Paarthurnax turned to Bunda, he was now deeply offended.

"There is a difference between a suggestion and being plain rude!"

He watched as Bunda's Lance started getting anxious, all agitated.

"I already told you and your Lance to switch to thermal optics beforehand, if you had of done that then this whole situation would have been avoided, obviously you're not competent enough."

He turned back and headed onwards.

(Bunda Darma)
"Competent? So I guess you control us? or you'll start throwing threats. Is that it!?"
=If this continues, someone might hear. Then I might have too go with plan B.=
"I will not bow to your every whim."

(Jovac Donjen)
"Darma, stop. You Aren't doing anything other then alerting the enemy troops. Stop."
=Heated words were now going through the air, loudly now. easily heard.=

(Golen Dasra)
=I couldn't help it, I was watching the other lance closely.=
=I tried hearing for footsteps over Darma.=
=I put a hand on darma, still watching the other lance.=

(Wielder)
We kept moving through the sand and heat.
=My armor was getting sorta uncomfortable, but I could deal with it.=
"Closer now, maybe two minutes."

Paarthurnax laughed at his smart remark.

"Every decision I have ever made in my life has been correct; every tour of duty I have ever led, we have been victorious in. You don't want to listen to me, fine. But you will lose a lot of warriors that way."

He saw Bunda's Lance becoming weary of the situation, whereas his Lance were playing it cool, he continued on, noticing that the level of noise had increased, a lot.

(Bunda Darma)
"As if you hadn't lost warriors! So if I listen to you I die anyway."
=I look straight at him.=
"Don't you walk away from me."
=I was getting flustered, how dare he walk away.=
"I'll have you know, nearly none of my warriors have died. Only One."

Paarthurnax grew too tired of his incompetence, he ignited his Energy Katana and pointed it towards Bunda.

"Yes, I have lost warriors, which fought valiantly and died fighting for what they believed in."

Paarthurnax' Lance equipped their swords as Bunda's Lance got all flustered and got into a formation.

"Do not tempt me, I have no mercy for blasphemers!"

(Bunda Darma)
"Yes. They died by your command. And you expect me to do exactly as you ask."
=I ignored his threat. =
"You really think I wouldn't research on the Sangheili I was going to aid?"
=I laughed.=
Who does he think he is?

(Golen Dasra)
"Shut up both of you. Or I will blow this place sky high."
=I quietly raise the explosives remote charge.=
"Lower your weapons."

(Jovac Donjen)
=I was disappointed in darma.=
"Darma, Don't you realize we're all on one team?"
=I grabbed my plasma rifle in security.=

Paarthurnax laughed again.

"No, they died because humans have pathetic sneaky plans, that manage to steal your best warriors from under your eyes. Try having your brother stolen from right beneath you."

He refused to lower his Katana, neither did his Lance with their swords.

"Kill us all then, I honour and envy death, what? You think we're scared of dying, a pathetic attempt!"

He looked around him, the sound of them arguing was loud.

"We need not your help, go, go back and face your demise. You will not last..."

He disengaged his Katana and walked on with his Lance behind him.

(Golen Dasra)
=I put my hand down and also hear the footsteps.=
"We need to go. Now."
=I begin to walk in a fast matter towards the interior of the cave, stopping by the other Lance.=
"Turn your lights off, they're coming."
=I look back and see ten, twelve, maybe fifteen soldiers coming into the cave. =

(Bunda Darma)
=I was annoyed by the insurgents, this means several things.=
"Come Back! We Can Fight Them!"
=I engage my sword and charged toward them.=

(Jovac Donjen)
=I didn't know whether to run or stay so I froze.=
=Bullets flew through the air, bouncing off my shields. That caused me to wake up and fire back.=
"We need help! Golen! Paarthurnax!"
=I know Darma will be pissed but if not we would die.=

I see Bunda charge forward, with his sword out. The Insurgents at the other end of the Cave were shooting at him, his shields getting demolished, the adrenaline pumping around my body, my only instinct was telling me to charge and help him, so that's what I did.

"Bunda, take cover!"

He was going to get seriously hurt, I saw him dive, I wasn't sure what had happened. I charged forward, I remember grabbing some sort of energy powered boomerangs and throwing them towards the Insurgents, they weren't the proper names for the equipment, but at that time I was not bothered. It cut through a few enemies, I remembered running to Bunda, grabbing him and pulling him backwards, whilst we set up a perimeter and fought back against them.

"Do not let up, grind them into dust!"

Hey, it's a bit more of a competition with the other squads now we have a time limit.

I grin in my helmet at the picture of sitting there while Aegir comes walking into the brefing room haggard and dirty. Something catches my attention and I halt the squad.

Shh, anyone catch that?

Maybe they didn't but this new armour probably had amplifyers in it. It was getting louder though and definately close. My hand raises up and horizontally waves downwards. I lie down with my back to the air and raise my head slightly so that I can see what's happening

Time limits huh? I....
"Used to time myself in the factory. Lets see how fast we can go."
=I then notice Sparrow drop. I do so to.=

(Bunda Darma)
'No! Let me kill them!"
=I struggled to get out of his grasp.=

(Jovac Donjen)
=I fired into their group from afar.=
"Oh no!"
=I could see Bunda taking fire and Paarthurnax pulling him away.=

(Golen Dasra)
=My Needler shoots into them, causing explosions of pink.=
=I throw a grenade to, causing more death.=

=had ducked down=

I could hear Bunda yelling at I to let him go, but I would not. It was at that moment that I noticed his shields pop and he was susceptible to fire, I have no reason for what I did, I just did it.
I jumped through the air and landed at the feet of Bunda, now covering him with my towering height bent over, after all he had said to me, I couldn't let him die, he was sill a warrior.

I remember looking at my shields and health bar, noticing that my shields were being spiked pretty fast. I was just supporting my warriors, as usual.

"No, stay down foolish boy, you will die!"

I meant not offence, I just wanted him to stay down.

(Bunda Darma)
"You want me to die! Let me accomplish this!"
=I was flailing now.=
"They need their deaths!!"

(Jovac Donjen)
=I threw my grenades, catching onto people and exploding.=
=As they fell, I saw one insurgent running away. =
"He mustn't tell their command! Seize him!"
=I ran forward and out speeding the insurgent. Tackling him to the ground.=
=I placed my plasma rifle to his head then he spoke.=
Goodbye, Freak
Then he pulled the pin on his grenade.

(Golen Dasra)
=Needles flew into them until there wasn't any left.=
=I looked around for everyone, making a head count.=
"Where is Jovac?"
=A explosion is heard over at the entrance.=

=I slowly prone, and keep my head up, to look around=

"What do you see?"

Bunda was screaming at Paarthurnax to let him go, but he simply could not lose another warrior. Paarthurnax waited until Bunda's shields had fully recharged, before grabbing his collar and throwing him upwards.

"I am not sure where Jovac has gone, Torix; Quna assist!"

Torix and Quna nodded and went off in the way that Jovac went, more and more reinforcements arriving from both sides.

"F'alas, suppressive fire!"

Paarthurnax slid over to F'alas and started aiding him in taking out the enemies that were on the other side of the enemies that had arrived first. More and more came, Paarthurnax now burning through hydrogen rounds in his Beam Rifle. All of his kills were fantastic ones however, he made them collapse but for every one that died, two more seemed to replace them.

"Do not let up, cut them down!"

I was running low on ammunition for my Beam Rifle, I already went through five rounds, where had Jovac, he better return soon.

(Bunda Darma)
=I roared and flew towards the enemies again, blood lust had taken me over.=
=I threw a plasma grenade, explosion
"Die dishonorable worms!!"
=Still roaring, I cut a human in half and turn to another, stab through him.=
"Jovac! Where are you!!"
=I decapitate a human, with most of their fire at me.=
=I do various flips and rolls avoiding most of the damage.=

Shields at 76%. Health at 89%

=I cut down another before running to where I thought Jovac had gone.=
=Out of the cave I go Camo to avoid enemies.=

(Jovac Donjen)
=I activated Camo when I stood up before they came.=
=I moved out if their way until they were inside the cave then moved behind them.=
=I threw my grenades into the bunch causing confusion.=
=I run back into the cave, past the humans since they realized what was happening.=

(Wielder)
"I'm guessing the helicopter flew by us. Guess its safe to get up?"
=Hesitatingly I stand up. Nothing firing at me.=
"Lets get this going. Before our limit is reached when we didn't do anything."
=I use the smile gesture and cough.=

I wave Wielder down again urgently. Whatever that sound was, and it was distinctly familiar, was coming closer.

Get the fuck down idiot.

=I laugh and mock him=

"Yeah you fuckin' idiot!"

(Wielder)
"Watch your tongue boy, or I'll stop it for you."
=I go back down, not hearing a thing.=

=I get kicked, and, my first reaction was to say=

"Ow, bitch! What the fuck?"

=I look at her and whisper;=

"Holy shit, we're going against them?

No. They're going the opposite way to us. They aren't our problem.

I begin crawling forward slowly, motioning the squad to do the same. The last few helicopters had just passed but we couldn't risk standing just yet.

=I start crawling beside her, but, a little behind to avoid getting kicked again=

"How many do you think are at this objective?"

=I stayed quiet but questions invaded my head.=
What the hell? Why are these men going to do? Why so many?
=I followed Sparrow's lead, crawling with her.=
