| Judging on the fact we just had half the population of Mars fly past us? Probably a skeleton shift. It makes our job easier, providing we can do it before they all return.
I go up to a crouched position and watch until the last few helicopters disappear in the distance before fully standing up.
Right, that cost us. We need to move faster. Double time march.

I shake my head a little bit. This was going to be interesting.
Right.
I draw a basic map of the structure in the sand with my hand in the middle of where we are sitting.
Whisper. You see this dip here?
I point to an area where the wall folds in on itself.
That's a drainage tunnel. I want you to go camo, get in through there. It should take you through to the toilets and i am sorry, but it is not going to be pleasant in there. Once you're through the tunnel and in the toilets, set up the fireworks and cause a distraction. By that point, Wielder and I will have took down these two watchtowers.
I motion again to two square areas on the map.
Wielder, you will take Watchtower one. I will take number two. Crawl as close to the walls as you can get and silence your pistol before taking the shot. Once Whisper has set off the distraction, he will proceed to the barracks where he will meet Neon to grab as much intel as they can.
Again i motion to where the barracks is.
Me and Wielder will head to the armoury and create as much stuff to blow as possible. We'll all meet back here.
I motion to a location just southwest of Watchtower 1
Where the rigged explosives will detonate and we can call for evac.
I look up at them.
Time limit is 8 minutes. I want both watchtowers and the distraction set off by the two minute mark. Explosives should be rigged and intel grabbed by the 6 minute mark. On the 8 minute mark, we'll all be in position for evac.
I give a little pause for it to sink in.

| Right. Everyone bring up the timer on your HUD and set it for 8 minutes. Mute external armour speakers and we'll maintain constant radio communications through this. Everything relies on everyone doing their job at their exact time.
I do what i had said, setting up two separate comm channels at the same time.
Whisper, Neon. Use frequency 862. Me and Wielder will be on 864. If there is a problem, one flash of a red acknowledgement light and i will jump to your channel. Don't worry about cameras. Monitor feeds will lead up to the watchtower guards and if we take them out, no-one will see us. Hopefully we'll blow this place so hard they wont even be able to salvage the tapes. | |

| We've got a bit of an issue over here. We're on a strict time limit and we're about to hit our outpost. We can't afford to delay at all. But my guess is that each of these outposts are linked. You seem to have the central one so i'll bet they all relay into your place. If we hit this, everyone in your outpost is going to be on alert if they are linked. You need to hit your outpost within the next ten minutes or it's going to be so much harder for you. If you aren't even there yet, i'd suggest you got your ass in gear.
I think for a moment while the squad look around awkwardly.
Good luck. I hope you get back to the Athena. Sparrow out.
I switch over to the other comm frequency.

They both drop out sight leaving behind a spectacular red smear on the inner roof of the tower. I stand up and sprint for the gate, which is still open. | I watch a few guards come running out of the barracks and head for the outbuilding. Seems Whisper did his job after all. A slam on the wall opposite me announces the arrival of Wielder. I motion wit my hand and point to the armoury without even looking at him. I raise three fingers and count them down. On one, i burst from cover, sprinting straight for the armoury and sliding through the doorway, slamming softly into another wall on the inside. | |
