As I crawled I was found by several soldiers.
=I jumped up having my sword already engaged and did a 360° spin, killing everyone near me.=
=Yet I still was shot, straight through my right leg. A sniper.=
=He fired again in my chest. Only a flesh wound. Hurt like hell though, I couldn't move from the pain.=

A stinging, burning pain shot through my arm.
=I managed to avoid the back stabber to a degree but unfortunately he still got the knife to go completely through my arm.=
He rapidly pulled it out making the hole bleed immensely. He tried went for another strike.
=By this time I'd equipped my needler and turned around.=
He tackles into me knife at my stomach. Fortunately I shoved my needler to block it. I rolled over onto top of him, weight and size helped.
=I stood up only for a second 'cause I was shot down immediately.=

(Bunda Darma)
=I went camo and looked over at the situation.=
We are heavily out numbered, three Sangheili are down. Two being mine and the other being one from Paarthurnax' lance.
"No. Jovac. Golen. Retreat."
It was hopeless. I'm certain they're dead. But I kept trying.
"Jovac. Golen. Retreat."

This is fishy. Why trade for a measly outpost? Something is up.
=I eased my aim off the hostiles. Believing that if they wanted us dead. We'd be dead.=

That's not really helpful to us. We need a straight answer. What is it?

Changing comm back to Rubble i almost laugh at the lie

We know their lying. Or maybe they just haven't heard we already found five FENRIS Nuclear Warheads in another one of their outposts.

A feeling of dread begins to creep up on Aegir.

They don't have to. We've already got the Warheads in our possession with enough evidence to convict them of hoarding Nuclear Weaponry anyway.

Thats what they usually say right before they attack. So... it makes sense to aim at him again?
=I aimed directly at a vehicle's turret, ready to takenthe gunner.=

I stand up, shouldering the sniper rifle as i do.

Go and get someone who is allowed to say then and stop mincing words. Until then, this outpost is ours.

I fire a round into the sand next to him

Consider that a warning. Until we get our information, anyone within range will be shot.

His hand moves away from his pistol

I walk down off of the tower and Wielder and Rubble follow down from the walltop. Once down in the courtyard, we meet up with Beta, Neon and Hawk.

They'll be back. In greater numbers too. We'll have to be careful.

How many explosives do we have? I mean OTHER than the nukes. Gods know you aren't gonna let me touch those things.

Whatever you guys brought, whatever Beta has. Neon's Rocket Launcher and whatever we can salvage from this outpost.

Anyone bring any mines? I'd rather find out before I go poking around on a scavenger hunt.

=I go over to one of the warthogs and take it from the vehicle.=

I can still shoot straight. Just watch.

He evaded sidewards, evading fire. He saw Bunda's Lance starting to retreat, but it was a mess, trees were falling and everything seemed like a dream, like it wasn't actually happening, but it was. He reloaded another magazine of hydrogen into his Beam Rifle, as he started to walk backwards.

"Fall back to cover; find some more trees!"

It's not much. We're going to have to be sparing with whatevere we can scrape from this outpost too. Ammunition for base weapons shouldn't be an issue so we'll use them as much as we can and revert to explosives as a backup only.

=I watched in despair when trees fell, landing nearly atop Jovac.=
Golen. Who still could walk. Manages to get to me before avoiding the sniper. Jovac hadn't moved.
"Golen. Your injuries?"

"Not important right now for we must recover Jovac."
=I turned from the rock and dashed towards Jovac.=
=Some how I wasn't shot, perfect opportunity to grab him and run.=

"Yeah. You do that."
=I slightly give a reassuring pat on Hawk's shoulder as I go further into the building.=

The entire forest was coming down on top of them, not literally of course. There were so many soldiers popping in and out of cover making it hard to do anything.

"Go, we are nearing an outpost, a kilometre; less than that, move!"

He looks down, trying to engage camouflage, it wouldn't work; nothing ever worked when he needs it. He continued to run whilst shooting back towards the enemies. How did they always find them.

As Golen came back we initiated Camouflage and ran. We had Jovac be carried by us both.
We couldn't see much other then vegetation and falling trees.

They ran, cowardly yes, but they were outnumbered by many, it was hard. They had settled; lost track of the soldiers, they couldn't cut it through the vegetation with their vehicles, so they must have backed off. Now they could proceed, stealthily.

"Hold."

It was kind of a bald patch, all of the Lances were around the bald patch.

"Now, we engage our camouflage and let our blades light the way. We are not too far away from the outpost now, this must be done stealthily, we cannot afford any more losses."

If they're coming in large numbers or vehicles, explosives will go a long way to stopping them.

(Bunda Darma)
"Paarthurnax. This may seem weak but we need to retreat. Everyone is badly wounded, including you. "
=I looked at the small clearing.=
"I'm sorry but if we continue we'll only accomplish our own deaths."

Paarthurnax looked over to Bunda and didn't reply, he was thinking about it.

"Negative, we have no way of retreating back to the ship. We will have to complete this mission, or die trying."

He looked back to the clearing, seeing the Outpost a little way off."

"Our two Lances will move in at two different sides, we shall silently execute enemy snipers before executing enemy patrols. Remember, report anything that you find, we're not trying to destroy this Outpost, only its inhabitants. Understood?"

(Bunda Darma)
"Paarthurnax. Jovac isn't capable of this, we can't bring him. *Sigh* help me find somewhere to hide him?"

Paarthurnax shakes his head before walking away.

"Unacceptable!"

He remains silent before turning back around.

"Right, my Lance will do what I said we shall do, your Lance must scout ahead for the next Outpost, that one seems to be smaller to this one, it will be easier for your Lance, find someway to help your warrior along the way. This is the only way!"

He enters Camouflage as does his Lance.

"Please, go, you must get to the next Outpost, eliminate all of the resistance, save your warriors like I could not, go!"

(Bunda Darma)
"Fine. If he dies..."
=My voice was in a warning tone. As if I'd blame him.=
=My stare comes off of him and back to Golen.=
"Lets try our best with medical."
=I get my medicine bag out and start working on him.=

=starts looking for spare ammo and distributes any he finds equally to those defending the outpost=

=i look to Wielder=
Oh, about that motion sensor idea. If you find any, feel free to help me hook em up to some charges. If you need me, I'll be in their armory.

=i nod to everyone present and then head off=

=I go further into the building and eventually finding a security room.=

=I then take a peek outside and look through the Spartan Laser's scope and see something=

That can't be good, that can't be good at all..

=I look to see contrails in the sky, and hear thrumming rotors=

=I pop back inside=

Uhhhhh, guys...I think we have company coming.

Paarthurnax and his Lance moved on further whilst remaining in camouflage.

"Paarthurnax, he is too harsh on you."

"No, he is correct. I failed in my time, I just don't want him to make the same mistakes as I made."

"You are a fantastic warrior and commander, I personally feel he is."

"I honour you opinions, but this is no time to talk of such matters, proceed with silence. I will mark your locations as we proceed."

They continued on silently through the woods, getting closer to the Outpost making as little sound as possible as they passed through a valley of water. Each step taking them closer to the Outpost, which was a significant achievement.

It'll be a fly over patrol. They won't have mustered a response that quickly. Let it pass and don't waste ammunition unless it gets too curious. For now, let's set up defences and wall-top patrols. Someone go and get Aegir and Sync up here.

I turn around, lowering my sniper rifle and point to a set of cracks in the wall.

This and the gate is our weakest spot. We need to stop them hitting those areas with explosives so the mines can be set up on the outside and inside of those areas.

=I walk around=

"What are we looking for, again?"

As much ammunition as we can gather up. Let's pile it all together here.

I gesture to a part of the sand around us

That way we can stockpile whatever we get and share it out to last us. Everyone get searching. Hawk, take the wall-top with me and keep watch.

"Yes ma'am."

=I walk away, looking for ammunition=

Hard to fuckin' see in this sand..

I begin the walk up the yellowing stone steps.

Hawk, keep an eye on that bird and let me know if it's getting too close. I'll take the North-East tower and you can have the South-West tower.
