Halo 4 RP Part 1

"Well, you're making quite a fuss, and a lot of these marines have... itchy trigger fingers. Take that, and a lot of them lost friends and family to your kind... I wouldn't give them a reason."

I didn't really have one further than get whoever we can roped into it.

"Okay." I nodded, and continued walking, glancing around.

"'Difference being you're on a human ship."

I crossed my arms and leaned on my left leg.

"And despite orders, a lot of marines would rather shoot you and accept the consequences than play nice. So again, please don't give them a reason."

Cocky. I respect that.

"You're on a human ship with a contingent of marines and several Spartan Squads. Having weapons won't change those odds."

Regardless, I nod at the Elite, and turn to leave.

I walked out of the Mess Hall with a full belly (and whiskey flask) While whistling a tone of one my favorite songs.

"So whats the plan? Another day of sitting on our asses?" I speak through my earpiece.

"Is that a challenge, or a threat, Split-Lip?"

I was slightly pissed, No Alien Bastard was better than my team.

I walk into the hanger right as shit starting getting real.

"Slow down there hot stuff, and you too Veer. If theres going to be fighting, take it to the War Games... or let me get a drink"

"Stay out of this, Bartely. Split Jaw here wants a fight, he can have one. Just us, none of his squid-face friends."

Hell, if I'd wanted, I could've ordered the marines in here to open fire. But that would be a bad idea.

"You're the boss."

I sit down on a crate and watch as things go down.

"Oh and Lyra, try not to get killed. It would be a shame for that nice ass to go to waste."

I flash a cocky grin.

Ben sat in his sit motionless, with his rifle on his lap.
He fiddled with a .99 cal bullet in his hand, then slid it into its designated spot in a pouch.

"It wouldn't feel right, hitting someone less capable than myself. At least, not on the first strike."

Better to have him start it, so I didn't get demoted for assault.

My eyes go wide as Lyra is lifted off the ground.

"Dat ass!!"

The pelican hit some turbulence, but kept on going.
Alexis tapped her comm on.
"Artemis to Heartstrings. We're approaching the location. Keep dinner warm for me?" She added jokingly.

Ben looked over to Hunter.
"So Artemis? what are the specifics on this 'milk run'?"

I can't answer my headset just now, so I grab the elite's mandible and swing a boot into the roof of its mouth.

I twist its fingers back, knowing that it hurts like a bitch, and roll away when its grip loosens slightly.

"Can't fight a woman?"

I whistle, impressed. I notice some marines pulling out their guns.

"Stand down, whats wrong with you girls? Never seen a fight before?"

I turn to Lyra.

"Kick his ass Lyra, and I may let you ride the Pony tonight!" (Look at Char page if didn't get pun)

I sidestep, sticking my foot out as I do, hoping that his annoyance will keep him moving straight into it.

The UNSC Hope Everlasting exited Slipspace, approaching the Marathon-class cruiser.
"This is Hope Everlasting to Remember it Later; we have a package for you."
"This is Remember it Later, we read you. Send it over."

The pelican dropped from the Stalwart-class frigate, and powered towards the cruiser. It only took a few minutes for it to enter a lower hanger and settle down. The back ramp lowered, and out came a figure in white. The black trim gave him a very stand-outish appearance...as did the Railgun on his back and the Arctic Camo Battlerifle he held in his hands. He looked around, and walked up to an engineer.
"I am looking for Lieutenant Commander Lyra Sykes." He said.
"Check Hanger Four. I think she went to yell at Lieutenant Hunter before Sovereign was sent on a milk run."
Nodding thanks, the armored figure left, walking past and heading for the hanger.

What greeted him was not pleasant.
He frowned, switching from his rifle to the Railgun strapped to his back. He lifted it and took aim.
"This ends. Now."

"Threatening an officer? I should have you court-marshaled."

I don't take my eyes off of the Elite as I say it, only noting the Railgun in the corner of my eye.

"Pointing it between you, Lieutenant Commander Sykes." He said evenly. "And picking fights with the Sangehili is not going to get us on their good sides. So let's not."

The started forward, Railgun still trained. "Now buddy, back away from the El-Tee-Cee, and I'll lower my weapon. Capiche?"

I duck under the swings, before tackling the elite, sending us both to the ground.

"Hey pretty boy, move over you're blocking the view."

I shout at the newcomer Spartan with a frown on my face.

Jeremy frowned, switching back to the battle rifle. He walked closer.
"Break it up dammit!" he said.
Gosh dammit, why do I always end up in a the middle of a fight? he thought exasperatedly.
Holding the BR with one hand, Jeremy drew his sidearm and pointed it at the other.
"Shut the fuck up. If you won't end this squabble, I certainly will."

Throwing the BR up, Jeremy drew his Railgun and threw his sidearm up. Catching the BR and sliding it onto his back, he caught the pistol and holstered it.
Because Jeremy just had to show off.

"Stand the fuck down you two, before I call the Captain." He said.

I was winded, but nothing big. I manage to get back onto one knee.

"Put down the guns, or I'll have you thrown in the Brig. Because I am NOT in the mood for having a rifle pointed at me."

I turn my attention back to the Elite with slightly heavy breath.

"That all ya got?"

"Hey pretty boy, I don't think magic tricks will get them to stop!"

I start laughing my ass off.

Frowning, Jeremy did put his guns aside...then sent a message to the Ship's AI to get the captain down here.

He then turned, and was suddenly in front of Bartley, and thus proceeded to Judo throw the man ten feet away.

He then, like lighting was between them, back kicking down Lyra and kicking the Elite back.
"Lieutenant Commander Sykes, you will act your rank or by God I will ensure you are court marshalled. I have already contacted the Captain. I do not give a fuck if you dislike the Covenant; but right now, fighting our allies in an illegal fight is not the answer. If you want to spar with this fucker, you will do so in the gym, under regulations." Jeremy was not happy. "You are a Spartan; I expect better of you. As for you, Elite, I won't apologize for her but I'll ask you to keep your honor in check when aboard a UNSC vessel."

(Harbinger)

"Captain, you are requested down at Hanger 4 bay. It seems urgent."

We continue walking the corridors.

You should get the rest of Pegasus down here too.

I see the sword hilt and hear half-a-dozen marines raise their rifles.

"Put the sword away. And you-"

I turn my head to the new arrival.

"Kindly go fuc-"

Crewman: Officer on deck!

I almost jump up as the captain walks in.

Captain Samson: Stand down, marines. You too, Spartans. Lt. Commander Sykes, the Bridge. Now.

He turns to face the elite.

Samson: Put it away, or these Marines will open fire. And that isn't a threat.

He turns to follow me to the bridge.

Samson: Hunter, come with us, please.

"Well, considering Collins is most likely drunk, or in some sort of odd situation, and Sykes is shouting at him for that same reason, I doubt I'd have much luck. But, I'll try."

I 'open' my ear piece, and try and contact Collins, or Bartholomew.

"Hey, Collins, you up for War Games?"

(Keep in mind, Marty has no idea what is going on in the Hanger, or about anything that had happened previously.)

Jeremy snapped to attention, saluting.
"Captain Samson!" He said. "Spartan - 136, off the Long and Dark December, sir! I was recently re-assigned here." He said.

He then followed the Captain.

I was in the middle of sneaking up behind the Spartan and about to begin beating him with a DMR when the captain came in.

"Well... Fuck me..."

I open the comm.

"Not a good time buddy..."

"How come?" I was once again intrigued in the 'little things'.

I carried on walking.

"Not much, just a fight between Lyra and the Sangheili. Oh and we got a new kid.... little bastard..." I say to Marty.

The captain walks into the bridge, stopping next to the command chair.

"Lt. Commander Sykes. I do not care how hard the Elites are to work with, OR how they may have treated you, but you. Are. A. Spartan. An officer, no less. You should be better than brawling in the hangar bay."

He takes a deep breath.

"And you, Lt. Commander Hunter, should not be threatening my crew with a Railgun. The same thing goes for you. I do not care how out of hand it was getting. Don't resort to violence of your own, implied or otherwise."

He pauses.

"Do I make myself clear?"

(Lyra)

"Sir, yes, sir."

I walked in the room whereas the predicament had taken place.

"What is wrong? Was there a event i missed?"

Staring at Veer, with his unusual amount of fatigue.
