--Unstoppable?--

After the killing of the Subject I had wandered to the gravesite. I dug up the body and moved it to the room. I checked the pulse. Dead. I checked its eyes. Dead. The strangest part of this...it was still breathing. I had not seen a thing like this. The subject had been shot over one hundred times. Refused to die. I think I have succeeded. I have created an unstoppable force. I will continue to mess with the formula. --Dr. Nikolai Gordon--

(He shakes his head)

(He opens a final document)

--My final testing--

I have not updated this thing in so long. Serum-35 is a failure and a success. It has been three weeks since the re-release of the main Subject. I had scanned him prior to the release. Brain Function was high. It was thinking at the speed of a supercomputer. The vitals however. Stayed the same. Flatlined. As I am writing this I can hear them. Clawing at my door. I am the last person. The last member of this town. I must escape. Anyway. The Subject had begun attacking the people. Endless attacks. Blood everywhere. I can still hear the screams. The people had managed to repel the...things...We had barricaded the town. Set up towers. Anything to protect us. It was not enough...We had set up an underground bunker...we could not retreat in time. I had watched it...I am retreating back into the woods. This will be my final document. --Dr. Nikolai Gordon--

(He pauses)

Nikolai, what the hell were you attempting.
All dates were set after I underwent augmentations.

(He sighs)

That explains all of the blood and broken things.

(He shakes his head)

Might have to make a journey into the forest...

(He goes over to the bed after shutting down the computer)
(He sits and watches the rest of the program)

(She smiles as Flyleaf's Fully Alive plays in her ears)

(She begins to hum along)
(She sits up in the bed and turns on her television)
(She turns it down to not interrupt the song)

(He hears the rustling and lies down)
(He yawns)

(The sound of the rain had stopped)
(Silence fills the house)
(Sarah's music can be heard)

(He stands and walk to her room)
(She had fallen back to sleep)

(He walks up to her)
(Gently bringing the earbuds out of her ears)
(He puts the blanket over her)

(He heads down to the kitchen)
(Looking around for any non-spoiled food)

(He sighs)
(He hears something break outside)

Hm.

(He goes to a window and looks out)

(He sees a person)
(Shaking his head he grabs the Hydra from the table)

Lets see

(He heads out. The Sun blotted out by constant clouds)
(The person is staggering about)

Hey!

(The person ignores him)

(He aims the Hydra and continues walking up to the person)

Hey!

(He sticks the Hydra against the persons back)

Hey. Are you deaf?

(The person turns around)
(The eyes dead)

What...

(The person lets out a scream and tries to eat the Hydra)

The hell...

(He roundhouse kicks the person in the head)

(The person lands and does not get up)

(He walks up to the person)
(He flips him over and checks the pulse)

(He looks around)
(He sees a civilian motorcycle and hops on it)
(Keys in the ignition)

Lets hope you have gas

(He turns the key and the engine revs to life)
(He smiles)

(He goes off to search for a market)

(As he passes through the town he sees buildings destroyed)
(Buildings boarded up)
(Dried blood on the streets)

(Writing on the walls)

"The Bunker! Get to the Bunker!"

(He sighs)

Whatever happened. They never had a chance

(He sees a market up ahead)
(He parks the motorcycle and heads in)
(Handcannon raised)

(He walks further in)
(A can falls and rolls in front of him)

(He tilts his head)

(He continues on to the freezers)

(He picks up some frozen dinners)

(He looks at the date)

They should still be good...

(He shakes his head and turns around)

(A person stands in front of him)
(He gasps)

(He looks at the person)
(The eyes like the others. Dead)

(The person lets out a scream and begins to attack)
(He hits the person with the Tv dinners)

(The person staggers back)
(Recovers and attacks again)

(He raises his HC and fires)
(Blood splatters the food behind it)
(It falls)

The hell

(He grabs some drinks)
(He goes to the bags)
(He grabs one and bags the food and drinks)

(He heads out and to the motorcycle)
(He starts it up and goes back to the house)

(As he goes off people appear behind him)
(Staggering)
(Slowly following)

(Once he returns to the house he heads in and to the kitchen)
(Sarah had gone downstairs and is watching television in the living room)

Dante-Hey.

Sarah-Hey. You got some food?

Dante-Yeah. Hopefully it is good.

(He sticks the dinners in the microwave and heads to the living room)

Sarah-Whats it like out there?

(He sits down in a chair)

Dante(Shakes head)-Desolate...

Sarah-I saw that man in the street. What happened?

Dante-He attacked me. I had to do something.

(She nods)

(They both begin to watch)

(He shakes his head)

Dante-There was another. In the market. He attacked as well. I...had to kill him...

Sarah-What?

Dante(sighs)-I had to...

Sarah(nods)-I understand

Dante-I heard your music.

Sarah(blushes)-Yeah? Sorry if it kept you up...

Dante-Its okay. I like Flyleaf

(She looks away to the window)

(He sighs)

(Her eyes widen)

Sarah-Um...Dante...?

(She points out the window)

(He sees a large mob of the things)

Great

(He thinks of the wall)

Dante-Sarah. Get into the bunker

Sarah-The what?

Dante-The mueseum.

Sarah-Oh, right.

(She stands and rushes upstairs for her S2)

(He follows for his AM and armor)

(They get to the door)
(The Subjects crawling through the window)

(He fires at them)

Dante-Sarah, Go

(She nods and opens the door)
(They head down)
(Passing the original subjects and through the tunnel)

(Apocalyptica playing on loop)

(They open the door and step in)
(The door closes and locks)

(He looks around)

Sarah-What are we going to do?

Dante-We need to get out of here

Sarah-How! We have no transport!

(He thinks)

Dante-If I can get to that motorcycle...

(She sighs)

Sarah-And how do you plan to do that?

Dante-This place is underground. All houses have the same tunnels. They all lead here.

Sarah-So we take a tunnel and pop out in a random house?

(He steps forward to a display)
(He breaks the case and takes out a Rocket Launcher)

Dante-That is the plan. (He tilts his head to the RL) This is for crowd control.

(She nods)
(Unsurity in her voice)

Sarah-Okay...

Dante-Its going to be okay. We just need to get to that cycle.

(He walks off)
(She follows)

(They find ammumition caches all over)

Dante-Take what you need. We will need a lot.

(She nods and begins gathering ammo)

(They find another door and open it)

(They run up the hall)
(Through the door)

(They appear in a building across from the one they were staying at)

Dante-Go upstairs. Snipe them. Ill join you in a second

(She nods and rushes up)
(Finding a window she aims)

(She hears a sound behind her)
(A person falls next to her)
(A knife in the back of its head)

(She resists the urge to scream)

Dante-Remember to check every room

(He goes off and gunshots are heard)

(She returns to focusing)
(Aiming down the scope)

Scan for targets.
Focus.
Breath.

(She takes a breath)
(She fires)
(A body goes down)
(She lets the breath out)

Fire.

(She repeats the process)

(He soon joins her)

(Soon the Subject's numbers begin to fall)

Dante-Alright. That should be enough. Let's go.

(She nods and they leave the house)
(They rush to the cycle and get on)
(He starts the engine and they go off)
(Avoiding the barricade)

(A waypoint appears for the next town)

(He sighs)

(He hears something)
(Running)

(The Subjects were following them)

(Sarah was latched onto him)
(She turns her head)
(A wave of the subjects behind them)

Dante-Sarah. Take the Rocket Launcher

(She looks at it then to the horde)
(She nods and takes it)

(She aims and fires)
(Body parts begin to fly)

(She continues firing)

Sarah-They wont let up!

Dante-Keep firing!

(She fires the last rocket)

Sarah-Im Out!

Dante-God Dang it! Hold on.

(She latches back onto him)

(He speeds up)

(They begin to near the town)

*Scanning town*

Alright

*Civilian*

Good.

(Loudspeaker a recorded voice)

M-Attention! Zombies have been seen! Take immediate action!

(They continue on)
(They reach a barricade)

(Auto-Turrets begin firing upon the horde)

(They hop off and rush into the town)

(He looks around)
(People scrambling)

(A group rushes to them)

M-Hey. You bring the zombies?

Dante-If you mean those crazy people. Then yes...They followed us.

M-Those auto-turrets and our snipers will take care of them

(He nods)

(The men rush off)
(Taking firing positions)

(Some time passes and the horde dwindles to nothing)

M-YEE HAW! We got them suckers again!

(The man from before walks up to them)
(The man sticks out his hand)

Chris-The names Chris.

(He takes the hand and gives a handshake)

Dante-Im Dante. (He motions to Sarah) This is Sarah.

Sarah(Looks at Chris)-Thank you.

Chris-Your Welcome. I help anyone in need. Especially from those freaks.

Dante-We just barely escaped from that town up there.

Chris-Yeah. That's where it all started. That Nikolai guy. (Shakes head)

Dante-You knew him?

Chris-Naw. Only heard.

(Chris is dressed in a duster and torn jeans)
(He has a strong southern accent)
(He is about twenty-two years old)
(He has blonde hair)

(Dante nods)

Dante-Interesting

(He looks around)
(To his arm)

Dante-Chris. Do you have a mechanical specialist? I need some repairs.

(He points to his robotic arm)

Chris-Hmm. Yes sah. We have one of them.

Dante-Can you take us there?

Chris-Yes sah.

(He begins to lead them through the town)
(Pointing out areas)

(They come across an airfield)

Dante-Sarah. I think we found our transport

(She nods)

Sarah-Thats good then

(They find a mechanic)
(Chris goes up to the man)

(He comes back)

Chris-Alright, He said he'll do it.

Dante-Good.

(He pops off the arm and hands it to him)
(Chris goes back to the mechanic and hands him the arm)
(He returns)

Chris-It'll be a few days sah.

Dante-A few days?

Chris-Yes sah. We dont have much here.

Dante(sighs)-Alright.

Sarah-Do you have any place we can stay?

Chris-Why yes ma'am.

(He points to a building)

Dante-Thank you.

(Sarah walks off to the house)

(He goes back to the barricade to retrieve the cycle)
(He rides it in. To the house)

(He enters and notices Sarah getting something to eat)
(He joins her)

Sarah-Its nice here.

Dante-It is.

(They continue eating)
(She finishes and heads upstairs)

Sarah-Going to see if they have running water.

Dante-Alright.

(He finishes and goes to the living room)
(He takes off his armor and sits down)
(Turning on the television)

A few days? God. We need to leave now...

(She gets to the bathroom and turns on the water)
(She runs her hand through it)
(Feeling the temperature)
(She smiles)

(He sighs and looks outside)

I could work on that cycle

(He looks at his arm)

Be pretty difficult

(He stands and heads out to it)
(He rolls it into the garage)
(He begins to work on it)

(Some time passes and she steps out of the shower)
(Dries off)
(She heads out to a room and goes to the dresser)
(She gets some clothes on and looks out the window)

(She climbs out and up to the roof)

Hmm.

(She smiles as the sun warms her)


This is a great place. The only problem. Those 'zombies'

(He gets partially done with the repairs)

Hmm. For it to not be in use for a long time.

(He looks it over)

It is in great shape.

(He sighs and heads out to the house)
(He sits down in the chair)

(Music begins to play)

(He takes a look into his hardcase)
(Taking out everything)

(A small pile forms on the table)
(He takes out the card and looks at it)

(He sighs)

Andrea. Did you hack into the machines whenever this thing was scanned?

(He stands and puts on the suit)
(He walks outside)
(He sees Sarah on the roof)

(She waves at him)
(He waves back)

(He goes to the garage and starts the cycle)
(He goes out and tries to find a jewelry store)

If I am going to propose. Im going to do it right.

(She watches as he leaves)
(She sighs)

It wont happen...

(She shakes her head)
(She climbs back down into the house)
(Going into her room she begins to hum)

(He finds a store and enters)
(The people inside stop and look at him)

I guess this is a strange sight

(He goes up to the counter and looks over the engagement rings)

Hm.

(He looks over each one of them)
(Finding the perfect one)
(One with her birthstone)

(He speaks with the cashier)

F-Would you like it engraved?

Dante-Yes.

F-What would you like it to say.

Dante-My love, In Eternity.

(The cashier nods)

F-It will be ready for you in a few weeks. Pay now?

(He takes the card and scans it. 650,000 go out of the card. Quickly replaced)
(He leaves)

(He heads off to the gym)
(He takes off his armor and begins his routine workout)

(The others looking at him)
(Staring)

(He continues on)

(She entered her room)
(She turned on her MP3 and began to lisen to the music)

(Singing along)

(Night had begun to fall upon the town)
(He finished the workout and left for the house)

(Sarah had gotten something to eat and is in the living room)

(He enters)

Sarah-Hey Dante

Dante(Nods)-Sarah. Ill be upstairs. Call me if you need me.

(She nods and continues to watch the program)
(He heads upstairs and claims a room)
(He goes to the bathroom and takes a shower)
(Heads back to the room and throws some clothes on)
(He gets on the computer and begins a log)

--Log 1 of The Journey--

I am bored...and I have nothing else to do. So, I shall start this log. Now what to talk about. The first planet that I had stopped at.

It was a hot area. surrounded by desert. The buildings of Freemont were decrepit and partially destroyed. From what Sarah has told me. Her late father was the governor of the city. A great one at that. Her parents were killed by the UNSC. That is when Freemont took a turn for the worse. Drug Abuse, Alcohol Abuse, Gambling. Crime rate had risen. Everything that could go wrong did. She had followed me after I left.

I had gone to another planet. A more Oasis type area. The same story however was displayed in the city. Gangs were the leaders. I was repeatedly sniped at and lost my right arm.

The place I had found Sarah in was an anti-UNSC planet. I was attacked by two drunken men. The next morning I was attacked by the same two men. Sarah had helped me escape. We left that planet to go to the one Ash. Ash...my dear...my life...my love...my angel...Ash was suspected to be on.

We were shot down and landed onto the current planet. Dr. Nikolai Gordon, a member who helped me become a Juggernaut, lived here. Experimenting. Creating 'Zombies'. We were attacked by the 'zombies' and fled to the current location. We must stay here for a few weeks.

(He saves the document and heads downstairs)
(He sits down in the chair, Sarah had fallen asleep on the couch)

(He sits back in the chair)
(yawns)

(He looks to Sarah)

(He stands and picks her up)
(He goes upstairs and places her on the bed)
(He puts the blanket over her and leaves the room)

(He sighs and closes the door)

Hm...what to do for a few weeks...

(He goes to his room and takes out a piece of paper and a pencil)

1. Finish modifications on the Cycle.
2. Choose a suitable transport
3. Wait. Get the ring.
4. Leave for Ash.

(He thinks of the first conversation they had)

(He had just gotten finished drinking with Jay)
(He had headed out, speaking with Andrea)
(He passed her room)
(She stopped him)
(They spoke)

(Her voice. So angelic now that he thinks of it)
(His chance to make her stay)

(He smiles)

(He fast forwards to the hanger)

(The first time he said the three words)

(He sighs)

(She walks into the archway of the door)
(She looks at him)

(He had fallen asleep at the desk)
(She walks over to him and sees the plans)

Hm.

(She takes the plans and reads them)

Ring?

(She sighs)

That'll take weeks...

(She sits down on his bed)
(She shrugs)

More time to check things out.

(She stands and leaves the room)

(She takes the S2 from her bed and heads outside)

(She asks around for a shooting range)
(After some time she finds it)

Hm...

(She walks further out and finds a sniping range)

Much better

(She sets up)
(Focusing down the scope)

(She aims at the target)

Breath.

(She breaths and fires)

(She looks at the target)
(The bullet just a few inches from the head)

(She gives an annoyed grunt)

(She clicks the sights over slightly)

(She aims, focuses, breaths, fires)

(The bullet goes on a direct course)
(Hitting the head of the target)

(She smiles)

Yes, headshot

(She continues to practice)

(She takes a few more shots then leaves)

(She begins humming as she walks back to the house)

(She hears a male voice)

M-Hey.

(She turns around and sees a man)

M-I saw you back there. You shoot pretty good.

Sarah-Um...thank you...

(She turns around and begins walking again)

M-I mean. Really good.

(He follows her)

(A group of men appear in front of her)

(The man behind her walks up and whispers in her ear)

M-Really. Good.

(She breaks away from the man and goes into a run)

M-Why do they run?

(He runs after her)
(The group following)

Great! This is how it ends

(She continues running)

Help!

(She hears a motorcycle)

(He rides in beside the group)
(He picks up speed and gets just behind Sarah)
(He stops and gets off the bike)

Dante-Alright...Your fun ends here.

M-Aww look who it is. Buzzkill!

(The group of six men join behind the leader)
(She stops running and looks back)

(The men pull out pistols)

Dante(sighs)-You want to. Fine.

(He brings out the Hydra)

M-Kill this guy!

(The men begin firing)
(He activates the shield, deflecting the bullets)
(He walks up to them)

(The leader begins to show fear)

M-Um...you...you dont need to kill us...

Dante-I know.

(He bashes the shield into the mans face)

(The shield collapses as the man falls)

(He looks at the group)
(Fear in all of their eyes)

(He tilts his head)

Dante-Why the fear.

(The men lower the guns)

M-We were not going to do anything

Dante-You scum.

(He walks up to the speaker)
(He punches him in the face)
