(The other Heavy Machinegunner begins to fire)
(He dives into cover behind a Pelican)

This isnt good. Not good at all.

(He sighs)

A miracle...

(Alarms begin to go off)
(He hears screaming)

"Attack! We are under attack! Go to your positions!"

(The SHIELDS hear the alarms and get confused)
(The SHIELD that was with the other two runs to the others)

S6-Stop firing. He is with Dr. Nikolai Gordon.

S3-Why are these alarms going off?

(Nikolai and Sarah join the group)

Nikolai-Enemies. At the front gate.

S4-Do the civies need assisstance?

Nikolai-I would think so.

(They take some time to respond)

S1-Right. SHIELDS front gate.

(The SHIELDS nod the best they can and head off to join the civilians)

Sarah-Those zombies?

Nikolai-Yes

(He looks up)

God...

(He walks from behind cover and joins Sarah and Nikolai)
(Nikolai's skin becomes pale. His veins begin to pop out)
(Nikolai takes out a vial and consumes the liquid)

Sarah-What...was that?

(Nikolai looks at Sarah)

Nikolai-I am...infected...

Sarah-What!?

Nikolai-I should have told you earlier...

Dante-Come now. Its okay. Hey...I was thinking...Bringing two of them with us.

Nikolai-That is a crazy idea

(He sighs)

Nikolai-I like it

Sarah-Okay...How are we going to convince them to come along. Not to mention what kind of transport we will need.

(He sighs)

Dante-Hmm. Yes that could be a problem...Especially because of me...

Sarah-Exactly

Dante-I just thank god the alarms went off. I would have been demolished.

Nikolai-What even made you want to go up to them?

Dante-Figured negotiations would work...(weak smile)

Nikolai-Terrible

(Sarah punches his arm lightly)

Sarah-Come on. Lets go load up a Pelican.

(He nods)

Nikolai-Sarah and I will load it up. You try and find a way to get them.

(He nods again)

Dante-right

(He runs over to the bike and starts it up)
(He heads to the front gate)

Hell. Just one of them would be good.

(He approaches the gate)
(The auto-turrets destroyed)

(The SHIELDS demolishing the hordes)

Hmm

(He looks to his right. A fairly large building with a window facing the battlezone)
(He goes into the building and rushes to the top)
(He takes out the AM and begins sniping the infected)

(One SHIELD hears the sniping and turns around)
(He scans the building and finds Dante)

S6-Friendly Sniper!

(He turns back around and begins firing the Tactical Shotgun)

(The hordes slowly begin to die off)
(After some time the battle ends)

(He hails a comm to the SHIELDS)

Dante-Hey, nice work soldiers.

S2-Silence, traitor

Dante-Please. We can work together.

S3-What, and go against the UNSC?

Dante-Exactly.

S1-You are crazy.

Dante-Come now. What was your mission?

S4-Scout for enemies. Set up a base.

Dante-Protect the civies?

S5-Yes.

Dante-You can do that. I am a civilian. My friends are civilians.

S1-You are a traitor

Dante-No. I am a civilian.

S6-Prove to us you are.

Dante-Prove to me I am not.

(A pause)

Dante-Two of you can come with me. The rest can stay and protect the civilians here.

(He stands and attaches the AM)

Dante-I am coming down

(He heads out to the SHIELDS)

Okay...this is going well. Now to think of transport

(He approaches them)

Dante-Do we have a deal?

(A pause)


(They finish the preparations)

Sarah-Now to wait. (looks at Nikolai) Are you going to turn?

(He takes out a case full of the anti-serum)

Nikolai-Not for some time.

Hmm...

S4-Yes.

Okay...better than I thought

S2-We have transport. Do not worry

Okay...

(He looks at the six soldiers)
(He chooses the one that Nikolai and Sarah were with and the one he had fought)

Dante-Okay. You guys follow us.

(A moment)

S2 and S6-Sir!

(He goes to the airfield and they split off to their transport)

(He had gotten on the bike)

Should I have done that...

(He sighs)

I wanted it to just be me...

(He sees the airfield)

Now I have four tag-alongs...

Will you mind...?

(He arrives and gets off of the bike. He pats it goodbye and boards the Pelican)

*A beacon has been sent to the two others. They will follow*

Right...

(Nikolai and Sarah board and strap in)

Sarah-Are you okay, Dante?

(He calls back)

Yeah...Just thinking...

(They lift off)
(They head to break atmosphere)

(Two blips appear on the radar)

Dante-We have friendlies

*Waypoint sent to the others. Heading to the planet now*

(He puts his head back as music fills the Pelican)

Im coming.
I am.

(He stands and goes back to the others)

(He sits across from Nikolai, who is beside Sarah)

Dante-Hows it going?

Sarah-Its...going well...

Nikolai-Yes.

(They sit in silence. Listening to the music)

(Sarah had dozed off)

Dante(looks at her)-She likes to sleep.

Nikolai-My guess it is the only release from the hell. You have had this feeling.

Dante-I still do. Even if I sleep. I dont dream. When I do. It is nothing but horror.

Nikolai(nods)-I understand that feeling.

(He sighs)


(Comms)

S2-Sir, where are we going?

Dante-To find someone.

S6-Sir! Yes, sir!

Dante-By the way. What are your names?

(A moment passes)

S2-Gin, Sir.

S6-Weaver, Sir.

Dante-Thank you

(He ends the comm and takes off his helmet)

Dante-From what I understand it is going to be a long ride.

Nikolai-Why?

Dante-Not many planets from where we were to where we are going.

Nikolai-I see. Let us hope I do not run out of the anti-serum

Dante-Let us hope

(He begins to doze off)
(Nikolai is next to succumb to sleep)


(Netherrealm)

(Laughter)

He got himself some bodyguards!

(Laughter)

Like that will make a difference.

(Netherrealm)

(He looks down at his wounds)
(Still present)

God.

(He smiles)

(Laughter)


(Real World)

(He begins to shake. At first it is slow)
(The shaking becomes faster)

Zayne-Draco. Hey, buddy. Wake up

(His eyes open slowly)

That voice...

(The shaking stops)
(Someone is standing in front of him)

(His eyes begin to focus)

Sarah-Dante, Dante.

(He shakes his head)

Dante-Sarah?

Sarah-Hey...we are almost there.

Dante-What? How?

(Darkness begins to screw with his sight)

Sarah-You were asleep for a long time.

(He can hear another voice in her's)

Dante-Sarah?

Sarah-What

(He activates the blade and puts it against her neck)

(She tilts her head)
(Smiling)

Sarah-What are you doing. Dante?

(He kicks her, sending her back)
(He stands up slowly)

Sarah-Dante? What? Why are you doing this?

(His eyes begin to flash through the colors)

(The Pelican begins to get shaded into darkness)

Dante-You!

Sarah-I...I dont know what you are talking about...Why are you doing this?

(Nikolai disappears)

Dante-You were dead. I killed you!

(She begins to laugh)

Sarah-Please

(Her voice changing fully)
(Her appearence changing)

(Laughter)

Zayne-Welcome. To the part of your mind. That can't be touched!

Dante-I killed you!

Zayne-As long as. There is just a sliver of darkness with you. I. Can't. DIE!

(Laughter)

Zayne-Oh. I am so sorry.

(His appearence begins to change again)
(His voice as well)

Ash-Do you prefer me.

Dante-Ash...

(Laughter)

(He changes again)

Zayne-Come now big man. You are too soft!

Dante-You. You will die. YOU WILL!

(He activates the blade and rushes)

Why am I rushing. This anger. Pushing me. I want his blood

(He swings the blade. Slicing the armor)

COME ON!

(He kicks the chest. Zayne is sent flying)
(Zayne hits the ground and gets up)

(Laughter)

Zayne-This is good. THIS IS GREAT!

(His eyes gone wide)

This rage. I can't hold back. His blood. Will be spilled

(He runs at Zayne again)

Come on Zayne! COME ON!

(He slices his arm)
(Blood pours out)

More. Blood

(Zayne grabs his head and headbutts him)

(He staggers back)

(He takes out the Handcannon and fires at him)
(Zayne dodges the bullets)

Zayne(laughs)-You can do better.

(He yells and runs at him)
(The blade glistening in the darkness)

(As he goes in for a slice another blade counters)

Zayne-You forget. I have one as well.

(He yells again)

I will have your blood

(They begin slicing at each other)
(Zayne scoring hits on him)
(He lands a few hits on Zayne)

Zayne-Remember though. I make you bleed in here.

(He stabs him in the gut)
(In the Real World he begins to bleed)

You bleed out there.

(He feels the blade go into him)
(He feels nothing)

(Remembering Omega)
(How he felt nothing)

This...is the power...of the Juggernaut

(He slices the blade upward. Slicing Zayne's chest)
(Zayne brings the blade out)

(He uppercuts him, sending him flying)

Come on. I have a lot more fight in me.

(Zayne gets up)

(Laughing)

Zayne-I do as well.

(He snaps his fingers)
(He shakes his head)

Zayne-Not here. Not now.


(Real World)

(His eyes slowly open)
(He can hear screaming)

Sarah-Nikolai! Is...is he going to be okay?

Nikolai-He will be fine.

(He takes a deep breath)
(Coming out of the Netherrealm)

(His eyes flickering)

Sarah-Oh thank god.

Nikolai-What the hell was that.

Dante-Zayne...

(She looks at him strangely)

Sarah-Zayne?

Dante-Yeah...

Sarah-What are you talking about?

Dante-I have multiple personality disorder. Zayne. Is one of them.

(Nikolai looks at them both)

Sarah-One?

Dante-Two others. Hope and Sarge.

(He looks down to the wound)

Dante-I need...some rest...

Nikolai-He is correct, my niece.

(She nods)
(They both go up to the front of the Pelican)

(He puts his head back)
(A migrain forming)

Great...

(He closes his eyes)
(Trying to get rid of it)

I killed him...I know I did...

(He takes some deep breaths)
(He removes his armor)

(Looking at the wound)

(He shakes his head)

Matches the other ones...

(He sighs)

"I am so high.
I can hear heaven.

Dont hear me."

(He yawns closing his eyes)
(Thinking of the fight)



Your blood will be spilled. That is a promise

Nikolai-That was close

Sarah-What happened to him?

Nikolai-An inner struggle for power. It had happened once during his training.

Sarah-What do you mean?

Nikolai-Zayne. His inner demon. Wants complete control. If he kills Dante. He gains control.

Sarah-Cant the other two help?

Nikolai-They try. Dante pushes them away.

(She sighs)

Nikolai-He is a very stubborn man.

(She nods)

*Ship detected*

Nikolai-What?

*Ship detected. Did I stutter?*

Nikolai-No.

*It has exited slipspace and is heading to the planet*

Sarah-Follow them?

Nikolai-Yes. Follow them.

*I was already going to*

Nikolai-Oh...

(The Pelican and two specialized fighters begin to follow the ship)
(Heading to the planet)

Sarah-Whoever he wants to find. She must be important

(narrator)
The Ship gets closer to the planet, sending out a message telling the Port to prepare a dock for the ship and it's current inhabitants. Sir Nikolaus is wandering the ship out of impatience, even though he knows that there is nothing he can do to make the ship go faster.

*I have hailed the Port for landing*

Nikolai-Thank you...Um...

*Andrea*

Sarah-It is nice to officially meet you Andrea.

*Likewise*

(The squad continues to follow the ship)

(He hears the conversation upfront)
(He smiles)

(First person)
The sound of the Landing alarm goes off. That annoying buzzer, telling all the passengers to strap in or become a hazard to others. Please, I've been through worse. Training with ONI, the SPARTAN Program, among other things, a Ship of this size entering atmosphere is nothing compared to the bombs or crashing birds I've been in. I may be a Scientist, but i'm a Soldier too, and an experiment, and a Subject, and not entirely human anymore. Damn reptilian DNA, Sangheili DNA, and other modified DNA I've purposefully or accidentally subjected myself to. sigh. I'm surprised I still look human after all i've done to myself. I'm surprised I haven't died too. But then, that's what all the augments were for. Prevention of dying, death, and prolonged injury. I doubt many other people could do what I've done. Well, and come out reasonably sane. Or alive. How many people have I killed? Men left behind on the battlefield? I think I lost count eighty years ago. I forgot i'd been counting. I look out the window again, seeing how close we were to the Planet I got in a seat and buckled in as the Ship officially entered Atmosphere. It was over in about twenty minutes. smooth as ever. I left the Transport, being told I had to return in a few days time. blah blah blah, I left.

(They strap in and break atmosphere)
(They begin the decline to the Port)

(He sighs grabbing his armor and putting it on)
(He looks at the hole)

Repairs

(They land in)
(The SHIELDS exit their fighters first)

(He goes to the front and takes Andrea)

Dante-Alright. Lets go.

(Nikolai and Sarah nod and he opens the hatch)

(They exit)

(First person)

I look over and see a couple of fighters land and some Shields get out of them. Psshh, Shields, never thought pure brawn could get through combat, never did like that program, Juggernaut and the others were far better. I shake my head in disparagement. I turn to see a Pelican had landed not far away from the Transport, it looked damaged. I wonder what sort of fight they got into. hhmmff. I walk down the terminal, to see if there was something to do.

(The SHIELDS approach them)

Weaver-How long will we be here?

Dante-However long it takes.

(A moment)

Gin-For what?

Dante-Me to find someone very very important.

(A moment)

Both-Yes

(They walk off, Dante in the front. Sarah and Nikolai behind him. Weaver and Gin behind them)

(narrator)
The Doctor leans up against a bar, ordering a drink. he tips the guy when he comes back. He looks around casually marking exits and possible escape routes if things go to hell. He spots the two Shields walking behind what looked like a Juggernaut and two civilians. Bad time to be wearing a fancy suit. he thought to himself. He continues watching them walk until he finishes his drink, and then he follows them discreetly.

Sarah-Do you have any idea where to start?

Dante(shakes head)-No

Sarah-Really?

Dante(nods)-Yeah. Our main goal right now is to find a hotel to stay in. We will be here for some time.

Nikolai-Alright. I respect your decision.

Weaver/Gin(grunt)-Alright.

(They continue on until they find a hotel)
(They enter and order rooms)

(They head to the third floor of the building)

(First-person)

So, I follow this group of unlikely company, and lo and behold they enter a hotel, i write down the name of the place and sit down at the diner across from it, seeing very few people coming and going i look up at the hotel, looking to see if any new lights turn on signaling the arrival of the new guests. I wonder where those hulks of spartans are gonna stay, pretty sure they'd rather have a cot.

(He gets a room to himself)
(The room is between Weaver and Gin to the right and Sarah to the left)
(Nikolai is across from them)

(He looks around and turns on the light)

Hmm...This will have to do.

(He removes the armor)

(Weaver)

This room...

(Gin)

Strange...

(They flip the beds over. Taking off the mattresses and laying them on the floor)
(They take off the armor. Gin, not wanting to)

(Sarah)

(She lays down on the bed)
(She sleeps)

(Nikolai)

(He takes a dose of the anti-serum and heads off to the diner)
(Dante joining him)

(Narrato)

The Giant of a man watches two familiar faces enter the diner he's sitting outside of. trying to place the faces. The Old man looked especially familiar. An old face. ONI. A Project. He thinks some more. Then, finally coming to it, he gets up and enters the diner itself, and follows the men.

(He stretches as they take a seat in the diner)

Dante-Alright.

Nikolai-You honestly have no plan?

Dante-I never do. Just. Luck seems to have a funny way of helping me out.

(They order some food)

Nikolai(laughs)-You always had that one thing that no one else had.

Dante(laughs)-Yeah. Lynn. She had way more luck than I. (shakes head)

Nikolai-Speaking of which. How is she?

Dante-I dont know...

(first-person)
I sit at a table and order some food, Apparently the diner is pretty popular, or a tourist spot, because Matthias joined me. the Bastard. "What are you doing here?" I ask with venom in my voice.
"I'm going to enjoy my meal with an old friend, why else would i be here?" He replied with that false politeness only a member of nobility would know.
"to watch me." I said and saw the truth in his eyes, he was there to watch me, and he knew I knew he knew. so we all knew. I turned my head from his gaze and looked at the table with Nikolai and Draco. that was there names! Nikolai Gordon and Dante 'Draco' something or other, couldn't remember his last name. Regardless of the epiphany I watched them, quite obviously.

Nikolai-I am sorry.

(He shakes his head)

Dante-She isnt dead. To stubborn to die.

(Nikolai goes into a whisper)

Nikolai-A man. He is looking over here.

Dante-I know. He has been following since we left.

(The food arrives)

Dante-Thank you.

(The waitress nods and blushes. She walks away)
(He sighs as he begins to eat)
