The Rise RP: Mission Three

These guys were a party. Of shouting and bragging and whatever else you could think of. I looked at the intel officer, who everyone was probably going to... Urm... Bully? I don't even know the word for it. But probably. Yeah.

He stood up, equipping his swords and rolling them around in his hands. The rest of his lance...the remainder of his lance stood at attention, awaiting their orders. He had remained silent whilst the argument took place, if he got involved...the new guy would have been lying on the floor, face down in a pool of blood.

"Finally, do I now get to report the findings of my missions...what my warriors died for?"

=I see the intel officer come in and I grin slightly=

Give the guy some credit, he hasn't pissed his pants...yet

=I hear Sparrow's comment and snicker=

Yes ma'am. I promise not to make him wet his pants.

Good, maybe once we get this started the tension will ease
"Stacy hm? Its a uh... ok name."

The Phantom slowed down, there were Minors and Officers among them. They were getting prepared as the Phantom closed in on the ship and the other Phantom.

"Warriors, as soon as we land, show no mercy!"

What the hell is an Elite doing here?

=I look at the Elite=

Could someone fill me in? Last time I checked, the Covenant were against us, not holding our hands.

Paarthurnax looks towards the Spartan, the new one.

"Foolish and ill-informed."

Oh, I'm sorry, then who are we against?

Paarthurnax waited as the Intelligence was setting up. He looked back to the Spartan.

"You ask too many questions."

What do you expect, me to hug you when you walk into a room I am in?

You SHOULD be the enemy. I don't know what all you Spartans are doing, but, I don't think this is right.

"Neon, we are past that now. There's no more need to fight between ourselves, we've grown to realize that."

He engaged both of his swords.

He got into a warrior stance, as the rest of his lance get out their swords.

"I have had enough of your insolence and your absurd comments!"

"..... Paarthurnax, stop. Put your weapons away, you're only proving his point."
=I keep a hand on Neon to prevent him from attacking.=

Paarthurnax shook his head as his warriors stepped forward.

"Negative, I have enough of his smart comments towards all of us!"

(Wielder)
"And what are you going to do, kill him? You will only be causing another war."

Paarthurnax nodded.

"It would be a start, I would also like to see who would care?"

=I sit back and listen=

My point proved, you cannot be trusted.

Paarthurnax lowers his swords, before signalling for his warriors to sheath their blades.

"Your opinion is irrelevant."

=I stood up, my voice with authority now.=
"Is this what we really want? To always be fighting like children?"

=I look at Wielder=

=I get in the middle of the two=

The only one acting mature is the Elite here, Neon. So stow it. He's been through Hell and back, so show some proper respect.

I give Neon a sharp glance

=I look at the Spartan who gave me an order and lean against the wall again=

Paarthurnax disengages his swords. He agreed.

"Thank you human."

He looked to the Spartan who supported him and he bowed to him.

=I smile and bow as well=

=I start to head towards my seat=

The war is long over, so we should put aside our dissagreements, and learn to be allies.

"Agreed."

Paarthurnax returned to his seat.

"But, you know, first things first, we need to get the squads sorted out."

What do you mean sort the squads out. The only ones who need sorting out are the new kids.

[on ship-wide comm]
"All operatives, report to hangers D-12 and D-13"

=I sigh as the Officer starts off the breifing, and then the comm opens up=

Well, looks like we have company.

=I head out towards the hangars=

You rookies wanted some action, you got it.

=I got off of the wall, and started to follow Hawk, as he was, in my squad. So it made... Sense right?=

Paarthurnax sat up and equipped his swords, he ran to the hangar. His lance followed. He knew something was up, for Phantoms to be here, now.

=I look around, people leaving the briefing room, but, it appears the squad I was assigned to is sitting still.=

Well, do we go to the hanger, or do you want me to sit around with you?

Great time to not be armed. We shouldn't have to deal with this. The on-board personnell should be able to

=I sigh=

Ma'am, with all due respect to the crew on board, I don't think they will.

=I start to head out the door=

If it's Elite Zealots on those Phantoms, they're screwed.

Paarthurnax entered the room before evading and engaging his swords, followed smoothly by the rest of his lance. The Spartans stood behind them, weapons at the ready.

"Warriors, stand tall and proud!"

The Phantoms were still and silent. Paarthurnax stood proud and tall, waiting for something to happen.

=We landed softly a minute ago, I already opened the back doors, Darma was first to exit, the other two are heading out.=
=I get out of my seat and exit also.=
=The other phantom was just landing so I grab my weapon, just a simple plasma rifle.=
=Darma was the leader, Ill let him do the talking.=

=I watch as the enemy phantom lands, I equip my sword I was trained in well.=
=A blur of blue light rolls into the hanger, I had thought the other Sangheili gotten off first.=
=I run towards the Duel Wielding Sangheili=

(Golen Dasra)
=I still had my fuel rod in my hands, fully loaded, good.=
=I aimed at the other Phantom, just incase.=
=I see Darma Charge at the other and aim my weapon towards him.=

Paarthurnax held his swords up to the oncoming Sangheili.

"Special Operations?"

He lowered his guard slightly.

"What is the meaning of this?"

(Bunda Darma)
=I came to a halt when he began to speakl.=
"Paarthurnax? Are you Paarthurnax?"
=I quickly turn to the hostile Phantom then back.=

(Jovac Donjen)
=I stood there, just watching the phantom, hoping Darma can handle him.=

(Golen Dasra)
=I take my aim to the hostile phantom also, ready to annihilate anything that comes out.=

"If it is phantoms and they're our enemy, shouldn't we help?"

Nerlok jumped out of the Phantom, with many Minors and Officer following behind him, weapons raised. The new Special Operations were near Paarthurnax, he got them all behind him before stepping forward. Nerlok approached before igniting his golden handled sword.

"Step aside filth!"

"No, I will put you to the ground and then I will do the same to your warriors."

Nerlok came closer as he said that.

=I bring up my Assault Rifle=

I think this is a blood feud Wielder. Just hold fire until it gets out of hand.

=I look to Paarthurnax and back to Wielder=

=I turn to see a battalion flood out of the phantom and how quick they were to get to me.=
=Good thing they hadn't seen Jovac or Golen, they're my back io plan.=
=I turn to face to the enemy commander.=
"Back off, he isn't part of this. Tell your men to cease fire, this is mine and your fight. And if not, your men are dead."
=I point out Golen armed with the fuel rod.=

=I don't say anything but take out my two pistols.=

"No, I will deal with him, then I will deal with you."

Nerlok turns around to face his warriors.

"Watch the humans and the heretics!"

Nerlok turns back around to face Paarthurnax.

=I follow Wielder. I notice he took out his pistols.=

What're those for? I thought we were investigating only?

=I step inbetween the two, swing my sword towards the enemy captain.=
