Dormii's sidarc: Journey to the beginning

They fall to the ground clutching their heads and curling into the fetal position.

=I walked along, kicking over the odd guard standing. I headed over to what looked like a good candidate for a holding cell, but I'm not sure=

This better be it...I'm losing patience

Paarthurnax staggered foward still holding his wound, and watched Dormii search the occasional human. Paarthurnax made sure he still had his sword, he did, it was in its holster. Paarthurnax rested his back against a wall for a while, he was tired and badly wounded.

"Anything Dormii?"

=i look around the room, not seeing anything immediate=
Not yet! How you holding up?

Paarthurnax looked down and then back towards Dormii.

"I am fine, thank you"

Paarthurnax staggered over to Dormii, as they continued to search the facility for this cell type room.

=after a bit of searching, I found the right room. I opened it and saw Joli sitting there, tied to the chair=

Paarthurnax staggered into the room, finding out that it was the right one. Paarthurnax fell to the floor, in a sudden gasp for air. He crawled to the wall, and sat against it, there was a lot of blood that seeped out, him having held his wound for a long time. His shields were still down and he felt more lifeless than ever.

"Do...Do what...you must!"

=i walked in front of Joli and knelt down so she could see me=

Joli had tears in her eyes, she had been crying for quite awhile. She didn't answer Dormii.

Paarthurnax' eyes closed, before he jolted suddenly and resumed watching Dormii, he was asking the target some questions, an interrogation if you will. He sat there watching, as he could not do anything else.

"Shield and...health check only"

Joli, do you remember me?

Through teary eyes, Joli looked at Dormii. Her throat was sore, and when she spoke, her voice was hoarse: "Dormii?"

=i nod=
Yes. Do you know why I am here?

Joli shakes her head, a negative.

=i take off my helmet, to look into her eyes=
I am here to end your pain. But first, I need to know where the others are.

Paarthurnax knew he was in a really bad shape, he placed a firm grip on his helmet and pulled, he twisted it around and saw a lot of scratches in the helmet. He threw the helmet on the floor and got his sword, placing it by his side. He removed his top plates, where his overall suit rested. He unzipped it, until he could no more, he pulled until his chest was uncovered.
He could see the bullet wounds, but that was not what he was looking for, he looked to his Mark, the Mark of Shame. He clenched his fists seeing this again, it brought back memories.

"Sir, help me!"

"Please, do not leave me here!"

A lot of memories were brought back.

She doesn't seem to understand his words. fresh tears fall from her eyes and she looks at the desk, where a book with a familiar symbol lay.

Joli. Where are the others, the ones from Viking? Harper, Revnik, all of them. I need to know.

She looked back to Dormii, curious, but confused. She was a woman in grief. Her tears fell steadily.

Paarthurnax breathed in and out deeply, whilst Dormii raised his voice constantly. He kept his eye on the door, and made sure no enemy contacts came their way.
He found Dormii's interrogation some what interesting.

Joli, please. I will make this end, but first I need to know. Where are the others? Do you know?

An intercom near the desk turns on, and the sound of children crying is heard. Joli looks at the intercom in horror.

Paarthurnax saw Dormii's attempts of interrogating. He was amused but knew this matter was not funny, but serious. He knew that Joli, was sad for another reason completely.

"I can deal with that Dormii, if required?"

=i looked at Paarthurnax, shaking my head. I looked back at the intercomm=
Your children?

Joli nods, still not speaking, tears still falling from her eyes.

Paarthurnax understood, and knew that was a foolish thing to say. He listened closely to what they were saying.

Do you want to see them, one last time? I can do that for you.

=i looked back to her=

Screams are heard over the intercom. Terrible, terrible screams.

Paarthurnax growled, as he said this. If he had the strength he would get up and hit him, for that. This human had a family, regardless of what she had done.
He jumped over the screams and looked terribly frightened.

=i heard the scream, and closed my eyes, trying to ignore them=

Joli begins crying loudly when the screams are heard.

Paarthurnax pulled his helmet up onto his head before putting all his armor on and grabbing his sword. He got onto his knees and stood up, against the wall. He stood there watching Dormii. He did not agree with this. The screams of Joli and the Children could be heard, he was quite confused about the situation.

=i got up, and broke the intercomm with my fist. I went back to Joli, and gave her a hug, trying to comfort her. Just because she was going to die, didn't mean she had to suffer. Harper deserved what he got for trying to run, and Revnik ran as well, but faced it in the end. Joli didn't have a choice, and I pitied her for it. To lose one's choice is to lose oneself. It's the lowest one can go=

Paarthurnax had to let some anger out, he turned to face the wall. He unsheathed his sheathed right blade and forged the symbol faith and courage into the wall. Funny, how it represented Joli.
He did not agree with what Dormii was doing, although she was a human.

Joli cringed when Dormii hugged her, his hard armour was uncomfortable and hurt her. However, despite Dormii's action, breaking the intercom, The screams were now heard echoing through the halls.

Paarthurnax sheathed his blade, and bashed his fist against the wall before turning and dashing foward to Dormii.

"I cannot be done with this screaming. Something must be done!"

Paarthurnax went to charge out of the door.

=i felt Joli cringe, and I broke off the hug=
It's okay, Joli. All will end soon.

=i looked at Paar and made a motion to make it quick. I looked back at Joli=
Don't worry, Joli. You have no need for worries now.

Joli wasn't fully aware of her surroundings. Her children had been taken from her, in the worst manner. Now, she would die, the experience was surreal.

Paarthurnax ran out of the room and ran up some stairs, he could hear the screams, he ran through a lot of rooms until he ran into an unexpected room. In the room, there was a lot of guards, and some Children tied up.

"How did he get in here! Make it quick!"

One human ran towards Paarthurnax with a Kitchen Knife, and started slicing in thin air. He grabbed his arm and ripped it off and beat the hell out of him with it. He grabbed his Sword, and pointed it towards the Commander, or whoever it was.

The men in the room executed the children.

=i looked into Joli's eyes, seeing that she wasn't functioning anymore, not fully=

=i brought the blade up to her neck and swiftly sliced her throat. As I did that, I saw, almost vividly, things that made me angry and nauseous and confused. I saw Jay talking to Draco, holding his hand, only it wasn't Jay. I saw them look at each other, with those looks. I saw them kissing, hard. I saw war on a ship, combat. Men fighting men. I saw an execution of Syaa. It all happened in an instant, and when it ended, I was standing, with tears in my eyes. I closed my eyes, and saw the images again. I blinked, and saw them again, and again. I put my helmet on and tried to fight these images=

What....what is going on?! Why am I seeing these?!

"I am breaking through, Fortuni. I am coming back..."

Screw you! None of this is true! None of it!

"NOOOOO!"

Paarthurnax ran towards all of the humans and sliced at them with his swords, him narrowly missing many bullets and cutting them all down. He placed his sword back by his side, and walked over to the Children. He saw them, cold; dead; stiff.

"May your souls rest in peace!"

Paarthurnax grabbed the Children by their wrists and dragged them back down to Dormii.

=i tried to fight these images, but it was difficult. They seemed so REAL. I couldn't shake them. My arm panels were flat against my arm, and I had to fight to get my arm blade to retract=

Paarthurnax entered the room to find Joli dead, and to see Dormii having a sort of fit. He dropped the Children and staggered over to Dormii. Paarthurnax grabbed Dormii and shook him rapidly and repeatedly.

"Are you okay? Dormii, Dormii are you okay?!"

=i nod my head=
Y...yeah...put her children next to her...they deserve to be together...

"You don't look well. Dormii Fortuni." -(hologram)

Paarthurnax nodded and grabbed the Children, he carefully placed them around her, then returned next to Dormii.

"Requiem in pace humano, meruisti quod hoc agnoscatur pro praeteritis et humano fuisset! Unshruk itsuri enkemp azuk monoles!"

Paarthurnax looked to Dormii, he was quite sad due to this, it could have ended better.

=i heard my name and looked around. I saw a hologram. It looked familiar, but I couldn't tell who it was=
Who are you? How do you know me?

"I think you'll find that that book over on the desk will be most revealing to you, when you find all of them."

=i walked over to the desk, picking up the book=
What is it I do? What do you want?
