Dormii's sidarc: Journey to the beginning

Paarthurnax did a three-hundred and sixty degree turn unsheathing his arm blades in the process. He too looked around not seeing anything.

"What is it?"

Paarthurnax heard Dormii speak again, to someone who did not seem to exist.

"Why can I not hear this?"

Paarthurnax rolled until upright again.

"Show yourself coward!"

"I do hope you've been keeping all the books from your spree, when you finish murdering all of them, I'm sure you'll find out."

I am not a murderer as you imply! I am getting revenge for what they did to me!

Paarthurnax was confused until he noticed the rather crappy hologram. He sheathed his blades and focused on the hologram.

"He is merely doing his job, as anyone would in his situation!"

"Joli most likely did not inform you of the location of the next one on your list. Jak Ikiskolinoi, unless you've decided otherwise."

Paarthurnax stood there, not sure on what to do. It was not his place to get involved. Instead he stood still looking to the hologram and Dormii contsantly.

Revnik already gave me everyone's location. I wanted to see if she would still cling to that group in death. Unfortunately, I was unable to determine that.

"Jak Ikiskolinoi is not where Revnik last knew him to be. He has moved to a planet that I believe you have been to, Shadow of the Moon."

How do you know that?

"At this point, Dormii, you might be confused. This is a recorded message. Any questions you have will have to -" Hologram shuts off.

=i stopped for a second. Thinking=
Who the fuck WAS that? He seemed familiar, but...what the hell...

Paarthurnax stared blankly at the hologram, and he grunted.

"Well that was a waste of time!"

Paarthurnax staggered over to Dormii.

"Does that mean anything to you?"

=i shook my head=
No, it doesn't. But I'll take it anyway.

=i held the book to my side and helped support Paarthurnax as we made our way out of the building. The guards hadn't even gotten up yet, and some of them had blood coming out of their ears=

Paarthurnax steadied himself and started walking with Dormii, he was not sure on what just happened but he went with it anyway.

"I am glad that is over, that was the hardest one yet!"

He giggled to himself.

"I cannot believe I went through the roof!"

=i chuckle, lightly=
Yeah. I didn't think you were THAT heavy.

"I think I woke the entire Warehouse up"

Paarthurnax smiled and looked to Dormii.

"I shall try not to do it next time"

=i chuckle again=
Please do. I'd like to have some help, next time.

=i make the smile gesture, to try and show I was joking=

Paarthurnax was laughing harder this time, he was smiling and laughing, his helmet almost falling off in the process.

"Who is this next target human?"

Jak Ikiskolinoi. He's...eccentric. From what I remember. Hopefully we won't have too much trouble from him.

Paarthurnax nodded.

"Then we shall try and not disappoint!"

Yeah. Now let's get off this planet before anyone finds out what happened.

=we start hurrying towards the outpost I landed at=

They had arrived at the Outpost, it was very dark and very quiet. Paarthurnax had a bad feeling about this, and he did not let his guard down.

"You have that feeling?"

A bad feeling? No. But, I'm insane, so I don't really know what I feel.

=i climbed up into the fighter and powered it up. I checked all the systems, and saw that they were all functional. It had taken us some time to get there, due to the distance. I had anticipated someone coming after us, but no one did=

Need a hand getting in?

"No thanks. I am injured, I am not a cripple!"

Paarthurnax giggled and laughed hard again.

"I am joking, but seriously I am fine thank you"

Paarthurnax climbed into the cockpit and fastened his seat belt. Everything was set.

=i close the canopy and start taking off=
It's no problem. I make sure everyone is as well as they can be. I don't want to kill unless I have to.

=I angle up towards space and increase speed=

"Off we go again"

Paarthurnax removed his helmet and placed it in his lap, he sat back and relaxed whilst they exited. It was a lot of fun, but he was glad it was over.

Indeed. Let's hope this job is done rather quickly.

=i set a course for Shadow of the Moon. It'll be a fairly long jump, this time. Enough to get a lot of sleep=

Paarthurnax nodded and rested his head back into the chair.

"Much obliged. See you in a few hours"

=i fell asleep quickly, having expended a lot of energy in the last fight=

Paarthurnax fell quickly to sleep, that day had been tiring.

=a few hours later, we arrived at Shadow of the Moon. I woke up and made a course towards a docking station I saw=

Paarthurnax awoke, it was strange. As soon as they reached close, he awoke. Twas very strange. He looked down and saw the Planet, or whatever it was.

"What a disgusting hole. I do not know why we never glassed here, it is very filthy. Human feet and grime, no offense to you!"

=i chuckle=
None taken. This actually one of the dirtiest places you can go, from what I'm told. Not a good place to go if you want a nice vacation.

"These are the places humans go on vacations?"

Dormii nodded a chuckled once again.

"If this your idea of a vacation, you need to see ours!"

Paarthurnax firmly placed his helmet on his head and looked around somemore, astounded the lack of cleanliness here.

You misunderstand me. People don't come to places like this out of choice, usually. Some do, and they usually do so out of greed or hiding. These kinds of places are usually not for the whole-hearted or selfless.

"I see"

He did not really, infact he had no idea what he was on about. He climbed out of the Vessel and looked at the disgusting earth, that was the floor.

"This is disgusting!"

Paarthurnax knelt down and gathered some earth in his hands, he brought it up to eye level.

"Scan!"

Paarthurnax scanned the earth and found some interesting things out, although information on it was minimum. He dropped the earth and looked around for anything else.

"Interesting, very interesting"

That's one word for it. Let's go. We need to find a place to eat first, then let's go fnd Jak.

=i motioned for Paar to follow and started walking off towards the exit of the shipyards=

Paarthurnax followed Dormii, whilst cautiously looking around. He did not trust the surrounding area at all.

"What will I eat. If you have not noticed, my food chain is different?"

Paarthurnax laughed as Dormii just suggested that, it was quite funny. He then grew a serious face and resumed his previous actions.

=i nod=
I've noticed. Well, do you eat meat?

"Fortunately. Although it depends on which type it is, although I would be willing to try some human food"

Paarthurnax relished the moment, he like the idea, of trying human food, although he knew he would most likely hate it, he was up for a challenge.

Well, it's hard to describe. To me, meat is meat. You can treat it differently, but it's still just meat. So I don't really know what to tell you in terms of what type of meat it is. We'll just have to find a restaurant and find out.

Paarthurnax nodded, and he continued to walk along. A few moments later his visor cut off, and he could see nothing. He removed his helmet and looked at it, the blue lights on the front were no more, just dull black. His armor, the blue lights that usually lit up it, were also black. He tried his sword, and the Plasma would not heat up, then his sheathed blades, they too would not heat up. All his armor and weapons had seized up, none was working.

"What in...Dormii, what's happening?"

He checked his Nano-Pad, nothing. Absolutely nothing on him was working, he was completely confused.

=i turn to look at him=
What do you mean?

"Nothing is working, it is like all the Plasma in my weapons and the Plasma Charge in my armor is dead, nothing is working. My shields, everything"

Paarthurnax looked worried now, and was looking all around him for enemies, just incase. He had no defense at all.

"What is this blasphemy you use!?"

=i put my hands up in a calming gesture=
Hey, hey, calm down. I didn't do anything. I'm sure this can be worked out. Is your gear EMP protected?

"No, and I am sorry. I meant no harm or offense you you human"

He looked down and everything was still dead.

"Maybe a Jammar of some sort?"

Paarthurnax continued on, Dormii by his side.

I'm not aware of any jammer that could stop plasma. Doesn't mean there isn't one, just one that I don't know about. Will you be okay without it?

Paarthurnax nodded.

"I think I will be fine, just as long as I keep my eyes open"

Paarthurnax turned his visor off and, all he could see was what was infront of him, no shields, no health nothing. All his armor lights were out and none of his weapons worked, things were going great.

What's your fighting style? In hand to hand, I mean.

Paarthurnax thought about it for a moment. Up close and personal,

"I tend to evade a little then stab the hell out of whoever I am attacking, that's all it is really, blade to whatever. Why?"
